smuggler ship as BFF-1

Hello. I saw you removed my speculative paragraph about an unidentified ship that appears in Dark Forces possibly being a BFF-1. I thought it was necessary to explain the speculation because in the game itself it is neither mentioned, nor clearly appearing to be a BFF-1 or something else. Seeing that others had agreed, years ago, that the mysterious ship could possibly be a BFF-1, and inserted Dark Forces in the Appearances section. I am unsure whether the ship indeed is a BFF-1 but others had decided about it, I thought going along, and instead of removing "Dark Forces" from the Appearances for being speculative, I thought bringing the ambiguous matter up for the readers. Should we consider the smuggler ship (Ergo) a BFF-1 or not, even if it looks like one? should we mention it in the BFF-1 page? should we categorize it under the BFF-1 category? The policy about original research tells us not to include speculation in the article or the BtS section, but doesn't tell us what to do if a ship looks like belonging to a certain type. Re:FFG

As the canon policy states Nexus of Power is to be treated as both canon and Legends, there should be pages that are written for both as you said, but if you look at the revision history instead of seeing a new editor and jumping on the revert button, the articles I've edited were actually written as Legends articles with a user simply changing a few links, contained mostly Legends links, and were linked to by other Legends articles. Policies also state that when a counterpart article should be made for another continuity it should not be simply copied, but written up separately, which is not what was done here.

In addition, your reverts have also added fanon to the article, as there is no mention in the source of exactly what class ship crashed on the planet (it does look like a Star Destroyer but not our call), and no information regarding the time period or faction the ship belonged to. Thanks for that! I started applying it to pages (mostly trade routes) that appear on the blog post image but are not actually named. I may have left it there by accident by copy/pasting. Also, I wasn't sure as the picture on the blog post is so tiny and unreadable that the lables on the image are virtually meaningless in that form. But happy to leave it off if you think that's best. X-Wing vs' TIE Fighter

Hi, I took some time to understand the game mechanics, also using some game editors to go into the game files. I found that all missions have the same generic black starry background. But for some space maps, there are also planets specifically added to the maps, exactly in the same way than some specific space stations are added to some maps. From what I estimated, there is about 10 different models of planets that are used in about half of the story mission maps. The different planet models can be reused in more than one map but each map with planet has one specific planet model. When these planets appear in the missions, they are also named in the briefings (see here). I hope my answer is clear... Best, Hk 47 (talk) 10:41, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

I'm not very active here, not the biggest fan of Star Wars, but I don't really understand why you removed the "Crossover characters" category from Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, and Maggie Simpson? I get that they're from stuff this site has as "non-canon", but there are other "non-canon"-tagged pages in the category, and the characters aren't from the Star Wars franchise. Hello again, I noticed you move the "Coded transmissions" source from the Appearances section to Sources section. At first I wondered who and why might have put the manual to the Appearances section, but I thought it is because it is presented as an in-universe text. Perhaps you would like to consider this. • Hi, I made a page for the explicitly in-universe Coded Transmission: Jan Ors to Mon Mothma and placed it under Appearances while the manual itself was relegated to Sources. This was after a discussion I had with other editors in our Discord server, who agreed that the manual is an out-of-universe guide are should therefore not be treated as an Appearances item. If you are talking about the six vs four legs thing, it's this: In Revenge of the Sith, the crab droids were small as clone troopers and had six legs. But in The Clone Wars, they were much bigger and had four legs. So I thought I could help correct that. But if people think I'm wrong, than they can do that. On Gorc' species

As noted in the Picaroon C. Boodle article's behind the scene section, neither Pic nor Gorc had their species identified in the original game, Dark Forces: Jedi Knight. Additionally both Gorc and Pic possessed similar characteristics such as the same number of fingers and toes, implying they were intended as the same alien race. So Gorc not being identified as a Gamorrean/Legends until later should be noted. Vrung (talk) 19:34, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

  • Currently only the Pic article notes that the Sith Brothers species was unmentioned in their first appearance.
  • Neither Pic's species nor his full name were ever stated in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, his first appearance
