Shudderup was a genre of music that was known by the planet Naboo's residents. In the Gungan male Jar Jar Binks's youth, he spent some time as a vagrant shudderup musician whom passersby would pay for him to stop playing.[1]
Another one of Naboo's natives, Bongiovi, was a shudderup quetarrist and singer. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Bongiovi was one of several Naboo musicians who coaxed symponik musician Beezar Pert out of retirement for a special concert in the Palace Plaza of[2] the planet's capital city,[3] Theed, to honor the war orphans on both sides of the conflict.[2]
Behind the scenes
Shudderup was created for the 2002 reference book The New Essential Guide to Characters, written by Daniel Wallace.[2]
