Potential unidentified planet

Hello! I wanted to bring up a potential unidentified planet I was looking for but could not find. It’s in the game Star Wars Squadrons. The first appearance was when Vanguard squadron was first coming back because they were late to hear their new leaders, Lindon Javes, speech. As they were coming back, the Temperance, their flagship, was stationed over an orange colored planet. If you or anyone could help name it if it does have a name or if it’s just an unidentified planet. If it is an unidentified planet be my guest and make a new page for it. Thank you so much! Sorry, I just realized you had already answered it. I was confused with another one from the same game. The first appearance was when Vanguard squadron had to go to Galitan to repair the broadcast hub to call for New Republic reinforcements. When they reach it, you can see the ripped apart moon Galitan, but it looks like it’s orbiting a large blue planet. If it’s the same thing then sorry about bringing it up. RE: Italics

Hey! So, I moved the italics outside of the link in that specific case because the italicization wasn't working properly. The intended effect is to have the short film and television series titles not italicized, as the rest of the publisher's summary already is. But, having the '' inside the pipelink created an issue where that wasn't feasible. So, I moved them outside for the desired effect. On TX-828, I only referenced the reprints because they contain an official English translation; the original German version may contain minor differences if translated differently. Ahsoka is Force-sensitive

• I get your point that every Jedi or Sith is Force-sensitive but I think it is relevant to state since individuals such as Maz Kanata, who are not part of either of these religions, are still Force-sensitive. The only way for this to be known is for her to be stated as Force-sensitive as she isn't part of any organization that dictates that you have to be. Hence, every Force-sensitive character should explicitly be stated as being so. Would you allow me to add it to the articles you listed that don't have it, for consistency?   • I just think they should be more consistent and more state it than don't so it would make sense to add it to the pages that don't say so. I completely understand why you don't think it's relevant but I think that every Force-sensitive character should be stated as being so, just as their species and gender is. Hey, if you remember, Finn was in possession of the saber for a short time. He should be listed as an owner because he literally was the owner in between Maz and Rey. Timeline of canon media: Smuggler's Run

The deletion of the German language "Smuggler's Run" comics is justified. We do not list every translation nor every re-release of a comic on the timeline. These are not distinct pieces of media, just the original German release in 4 issues and the English translation re-release in 2 issues. There is no benefit to having both in the timeline. If you want to counter that the German original should remain and the English translation be removed, I could be swayed by that argument, though I would think that an English language wiki should list the English version when a translation exists, as that better serves the audience. I noticed the article I added here was marked for deletion. I understand that it might be a short article, but I'm not really sure why it needs to be deleted. I've been reading the ebook to my daughter and I found that the character didn't have an entry on the site. I have attached a link (with a space between the first to 't's, as I couldn't post it otherwise) with a screenshot of the passage where the character appears in the book. Rebel activity in Anoat sector and Han not in carbonite would likely place the story in 3 ABY between construction of Echo Base and Ep V. Hey Lewisr, it's good to hear from you again! Honestly, I can't remember the exact reason why we went with this precedent in multiple articles. But my best guess is because they are entirely different media (novel, magazine, etc.). While we know that Eldra Kaitis is in Star Wars: Darth Maul (Marvel TPB) or in all similar collections since she is a part of Darth Maul (2017) 2, Cait appearing in "Inbrief" is not enough to automatically list all Star Wars media that includes a mention of the character. Archive Problems

Hey I was wondering how to solve this problem. The Official Disney podcast has an interview where Disney Imagineer Scott Trowbridge confirms that Din Djarin's rifle and helmet did first appear in Dok Ondar's shop before The Mandalorian's premiere. Problem is, both Archive Today and Wayback Machine don't seem to be able to save the podcast. They can only capture a snapshot of the podcast's page. Was wondering how to resolve that. Battle of Geonosis in TBOBF

I think you can say that the event "First Battle of Geonosis" can be seen in the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett, when young Boba picks up the helmet of his father. Yes, the arena battle is over, but the event itself isn't. It happened during the battle. In the article of this topic Boba picking up the helmet is also described as part of the event. And the user "Loqiical" also added the appearance of this battle in the first Book of Boba Fett episode in the article "First Battle of Geonosis".

The whole glow-fungus and munch-fungus growing on Ryloth is not speculation how is it speculation when the pages glow-fungus and munch-fungus say that they are found on Ryloth.

If information on those two pages say that they are found on Ryloth then it is not speculation. Go look at and read the pages of glow-fungus and munch-fungus it literally says in their infoboxes that their homeworld is Ryloth so there for it's not speculation. Speculation means assuming, guessing, a hunch, taking a stab in the dark or shot in the dark and just hoping that the information is right or correct. So how can it be speculation, a guess or an assumption when there is literally information on the pages saying that they are from Ryloth unless that information has be wrong all this time. Also in Tales of Jabba's Palace I remember literally reading a part where Jerris Rudd and Bib Fortuna who kidnap Oola and bring her to Jabba's Palace. Jerris Rudd tells her that she will like Tatooine he says to her "It's looks a lot like Ryloth" so it's no speculation about Ryloth having desserts on the planet. Because he literally tells her Ryloth and Tatooine are similar or a like in a few ways then that would mean Ryloth is as desert planet. So just like how the glow-fungus and munch-fungus are confirmed to be from Ryloth it is confirmed by one of the characters in a novel that Ryloth is a desert or at least similar to a desert.

So Ryloth being a desert planet or have some deserts on it is not speculation unless Jerris Rudd is lying to Oola about Tatooine being like Ryloth and I strongly doubt he is lying about that in the book when he describes the planet to her.

More on Ryloth

Also another thing aside from Jerris Rudd saying that Tatooine is like Ryloth in Tales from Jabba's Palace. In a video game called Star Wars Empire at War you can actually land on Ryloth and build a base and send troops to attack other enemy bases. When you land on Ryloth in the Empire at War you can see that Ryloth is like a desert also you see, hear and literally walk through sandstorms on Ryloth in Empire at War.

Plus there aren't many comic books that show what the planet Ryloth looks like but when read some of the comics it shows Ryloth looking like a desert with mountains, plateaus, valleys, canyons, rocks and some plant like trees as well as other plants such as a few patches of grass in episodes from the Clone Wars. Cliffs and ridges are found in ricky areas or mountains so I would say Ryloth has cliff, ledges and ridges. In one comic book a young twi'lek was going to jump off a cliff under Mace Windu saved her yes a cliff so there are cliffs or cliffsides on Ryloth.

Also because Jerris Rudd said Tatooine is like Ryloth then the two planets probably have some similar environments, regions or landscapes again I wouldn't say all of Ryloth and all of Tatooine 100% the same in every way just only having a few similarities. How much of Ryloth is like Tatooine and how much of it is different from Tatooine is really hard to say Thick Metal (talk) January 10 10:18 (UTC)

Made a few mistakes when I was typing also wanted to make if read the "More on Ryloth" message because I want it doesn't seem like a waste time and you to think the message is not worth read.

Missing want point you are only saying that as defense for your action. This wiki site has literally proof that glow fungus and munch fungus grow on Ryloth however you want allow that information to be known. Not just the fungus but information about Ryloth being a desert.

I don't know how to add sources or links

I don't know how add source links for the glow-fungus and munch-fungus or Ryloth having desserts on the planet. I can't figure that out it's to hard finding link sources in a long list.

Also I've added link sources on other wiki sites and some how have add the wrong sources before. Why join discord it has some nasty rude and creepy people on there from my personal experience trolls, stalkers yes I've run into a few stalkers on discord. It is an app that doesn't have the best nicest or pleasant people in the world. Also people have asked to send them money and gift cards on there so I will not use discord and I think other people should avoid the app but no will avoid people will keep flocking over there.

Also I've been reading more books and comics learning more about Twi'leks and Ryloth I even bought Tales from Jabba's Palace. Not only does it give information about Oola but Ryloth and the twi'lek species as well.

Verifying the sources isn't the problem the problem is reading through the long list and hooking the link up. The reason why it is a problem hooking the link or source up. Because I don't know how to do the whole Ryloth Atmosphere Breathable [9] thing.

I don't know how do the [9], [8], [7] thing that is shown in the Infoboxes the reason why I say that because I don't know how to make those numbers link up to the sources for much-fungus or for glow-fugus or the deserts. Ok the correct sources for:

1. Glow-fugus growing on Ryloth the sources are Platt's Starport Guide & Shadows of Empire Sourcebook.

2. Munch-fungus growing on Ryloth the source is Platt's Starport Guide.

3. As for Ryloth having Deserts on it the sources are Star Wars Empire at War, Tales from Jabba's Palace, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017)

4. Aside from being described as a Desert there is a source that describes Ryloth as a Mountainous planet that source is Star Wars Empire at War.

5. Star Empire at War is a source for saying that Twi'lek culture is very social having information on everything and everyone on the planet.

6. Jerris Rudd says Tatooine is like Ryloth when Oola arrives on the planet she agrees with him that it is lile Ryloth the source is Tales from Jabba's Palace.

7. Oola thinks about eating fungi in Jabba's Palace the source is Tales from Jabba's Palace. In the books it talks about Twi'leks eating fungi confirming that fungus is a food source for them.

8. In Star Wars X-Wing Rouge Squadron #11 some characters say this "Think about pirates, slavers, corrupt officials, and Heat Storms. Ryloth has plenty of all of them."

In the sources X-Wing Rouge Squadron #11 Tatooine outsiders who go to Ryloth think of pirates, slavers, corrupt officials and Heat Storms. That's what Ryloth is to people who go to Ryloth but don't live there.

9. Source X-Wing Rouge Squadron Battlefront Tatooine in the comic it is revealed by Twi'lek a clan or leader can't deny sanctuary to a Twi'lek seeking sanctuary if they are from the same clan.

Aloxian

As I understand it, the "location" parameter in the Language template is intended to denote locations where the language is widely spoken. Yes, Qort speaks Aloxian on Dol'har Hyde. This is relevant to the page's infobox the same way Qort speaking Aloxian on Trymant IV or Takodana is, because we have no evidence that Aloxian is widely spoken in any of these places. We have no evidence that anyone beyond Aloxians like Qort actively speaks this language, and the only location I think would be logical to put in this page's infobox is Zav Alox, but we can't do that because we have no confirmation of it actually being spoken there. TL;DR here is that just because Qort speaks Aloxian on Dol'har Hyde in the scene where the language is identified, does not mean it fits the criteria as a location where this language is widely spoken, which is what the parameter is intended for. That he is the complete boss of the Pykes is speculation, something that you are committing. And it's true that the database says he's the head of the Pyke Syndicate, but they haven't mentioned that he's just from the Tatooine Branch. Not all works of fiction mention that someone is the leader of a Branch, there are some that say the name of the organization, not the branch, even though it is the opposite. Like in Watch Dogs: Legion which says Dedsec has been destroyed not the London Branch itself.

Constant removing of Commander-in-Chief

Might I ask why you constantly remove Commander-in-Chief as being Vader's "office"? There must have been a reason otherwise you wouldn't go so far as to delete every time. It was his unstated but recognized position in the Imperial command structure, not Dark Lord of the Sith - there have been plenty of Sith Lords up until him without being affiliated with the Galactic Empire, it is not an Imperial title. He had the moniker of "Emperor's Fist" that has recently been used like 3 times in comics/books and Commander-in-Chief as his definitive position - not "acting", not "de facto", if he acts as such then he is a commander-in-chief. Last I checked people like OOM 224 and VitusInfinitus were admins, and OOM 224 for one had no issue with Commander-in-Chief as Vader's position as long as there's no "acting" adjective around it. We don't say "Dark Lord of the Sith" was Darth Tyranus' place in the CIS, it was Head of State so why Darth Vader can't have his on the articles? Alex of Star Wars (talk) 07:11, 7 July 2022 (UTC)

Vader was clearly Commander-in-Chief after Sidious demoted Tagge - when he relieves the Grand General of his office of Supreme Commander, the Emperor tells his apprentice: "Starting immediately, he is to cede all control into your hands... The Fleet will be yours. The Executorwill be yours. I leave you to educate your subordinates about this brave new era." (source: STAR WARS: Darth Vader #4: End of Games). It's pretty clear from here that Sidious gave Vader absolute control over the military at least now after he rid himself of the blundering Tagge. If he wasn't Commander-in-Chief before O-1 ABY then he surely was following the War on Shu-Torun. So we can leave him as Dark Lord of the Sith/Emperor's Fist on pre-Shu-Torun articles, but on things related to ESB and ROTJ there should be no problem adding Commander-in-Chief. Ossus

Pablo saying that the planet was first identified as Ossus in the script means that the concept originated there. However: the script is not publicly available and TBOBF does not say what the planet is called anywhere. So saying that the planet was identified as Ossus in the script in the article is inaccurate because we, the audience, did not and could not know this until the book came out. The tweet in question was almost certainly only written because of that book – I'll point out that this Jedi Master was named in the script, but Pablo declined to reveal their name because it hasn't been revealed elsewhere in public. Given that precedent, if SOTS hadn't revealed the planet's name, Pablo almost certainly would have tweeted something along the same lines as the "Aftermath" dead Jedi: that he knew the planet's name but didn't feel it was his place to share it. Given the context of how we know this, saying in-article that the script is where the temple planet was identified as Ossus is disingenuous and inaccurate IMO. It works better the other way. My wording in no way denied that this concept originated in the television script, and there is nothing wrong with it. As we do not have the script publicly available and there is no indication that it will ever be so available, I only ask that you stop being so hung up on the "first identified" thing you won't stop putting in and stop reverting my edits. Prequel Recap Kenobi I

Hi Lewisr! If the prequel recap appearances do no count as appearances in the actual Kenobi I episode, why is Padme Amidala and the Dathomirian Zabrak species labeled in appearances as "in flashback." I don't see why we should only count some and not all? I believe even Kaleesh was put down for Bad Batch episode 1 when Grevious appeared in a recap of past events. Hey I've noticed that on several battles, you've been adding pilot names to Strength lists, fast making these into participation lists that just seem to crowd the list too much. Wouldn't it be easier to add pilot roster/participant list like what still remains on several Legends version pages? So what guideline were you basing your edit decision off of? Because I think having the fact that the Liberation of Kashyyyk happens after the liberation of Rekkana clearly in the infobox as opposed to hidden in a citation is more beneficial for the average reader. • Okay, it says she was going to shili instead of running for reelection, so the version I put in could still technically be correct. However, you're right with the 2 vs many years of her term, the intent in M&A is clearly for her to be at the end of her term (which would mess up the whole four year term thing). I will put back in the valorum part though. Why are some Years blank.

Hey, on the Timeline of Canon media, why are some years blank, but the wiki page for that form of media states a date which it set. For example, the "First Mission" comic which I added for 233 BBY, even if it doesn't state that it is set in that year, wouldn't it make more sense to put "Between" or "During or prior to" like others have in the timeline?, as this would make reading the timeline easier. High Republic 6 and 7 (2020) are still missing a year

Hi, sorry about that previous edit about the Valo Republic fair and comics placement. I got the sourcing wrong and I am still experiencing issues with the HTTP stuff (I was trying visual editor, it works with less HTTP gateway errors but is extremely slow so I didn't realise what citation I put for it). Surely I got the Year correct though? As for the High Republic adventures (2021) 6 and 7, if it occurs concurrently then surely it would be the same year? And for the High Republic (2020) 6 and 7, if im not mistaken they end with the attack on Valo, meaning they would occur concurrently aswell?

Hey, I have made a list of where exactly each of the battlefront 2 campaign missions would take place on the timeline, and have given an explanation for each mission as to why I have placed them there. I feel like adding these will benefit the timeline, as the legends media timeline does this with video game campaign missions and anyone new to Star Wars wanting to explore more of the canon eu may not realise there are campaign missions that link closely with other comics/novels and films, as currently the time displays Star Wars Battlefront II as 32 BBY - 35 BBY in one row.

Hi thanks for the reply. You mentioned that an argument "for putting book chapters on the timeline" would be made, but I don't see why that argument would come up. There are ~ 200 books and they all have a distinct place on the timeline where the story takes place. Battlefront II is a single title, and it would be only adding 13 more rows to the timeline. Also, if the main worry is the timeline looking bloated - it nearly already is with all the young reader and tv adaptations and no option to hide them. Short story anthologies have the individual short stories on the timeline, as well as Star Wars adventures comics, the 2 different stories in an issue are split onto the timeline as to where they go chronologically.

Hi Lewisr, I've come to ask for your opinion/permission on a certain topic. Now that we've seen clone stormtroopers in The Bad Batch and Andor series, do you think this warrants the creation of their own article? I feel there are enough differences in behavior, armor, hierarchy of command, and general lore that separates them from Republic clone troopers. I ask this because on the Legends side of the wiki, clone stormtroopers have their own article separate from Republic clone troopers. Even the TK troopers have their own article that separates them from standard stormtroopers despite being stormtroopers themselves. What do you think?

About appearances

Edits needed for timeline of canon media which didnt save due to an error I get

Hi, im trying to finish an edit but I keep getting an error when I try to publish it, so I would appreciate if you could complete the edit for me as currently the timeline is not correct - I was unable to complete the entire edit in visual (source mode doesnt work for me/takes really really long) so I split the edit into 3 parts for reorganising the Kanan comic series to be correct on the timeline (it originally stated it was a prologue for the 4 BBY story - its not its the frame story). The edits that still need to be completed are:

1. Darth Vader (2017) 1 - Needs to say occurs concurrently and immediately after Revenge of the sith
2. Tales of the jedi ep 6 - opening occurs concurrently to revenge of the sith
3. Kanan 5 - Frame story occurs after Kanan 1
4. Kanan 1,7,8,9,10 and 11 need †, and they need to say 4 BBY
5. edited reference for [77] which states along the lines of "Kanan comic series frame story is set "fifteen years" after the kanan 1 flashback which is set during order 66
6. Kanan 6 needs to be moved before Kanan 7

Unidentified High Republic Characters

Hi Lewis! As you may have noticed I've been doing some editing on a variety of THR comics, and I was wondering if you could help me out with a little project since I'm not as familiar with this Wiki. I recently read the original High Republic Adventures series and noticed a lot of recurring background characters that frequently appeared on the Starlight Beacon, so I made a google doc listing their appearances alongside images that they appeared in. Merging Anakin and Vader ships

Hi I've notice that Anakin Skywalker's Acclamator-class assault ship, Anakin Skywalker's personal starfighter, Anakin Skywalker's ship, Darth Vader's shuttle are separate disambiguation pages instead of merged like Luke Skywalker's starship and Leia Organa's starship. On top of that Vader also owned the Naboo Royal Starship and the Twilight which is not on either of those pages —Unsigned comment by LegoBoi200 (talk • contribs)

• There being so many of these disambig pages kind of results in a bit of a messy situation such as the ones for all of Anakin's ships. Specific ones like Anakin Skywalker's Acclamator-class assault ship appear to be fine. Categorizing images of Din Djarin's armor and other related images from The Mandalorian

Hey Lewis, I'm assuming you must be busy, but would you mind helping me with something when you get a chance, please? Notice what I've been doing a lot of recently? Adding the category Images of Din Djarin's armor to Images of Din Djarin, which most of them need, but there are so many. However, I thought of a quicker way: go through images of each episode (although he is on others too, especially artwork of him). I started at Chapter 1 yesterday and stopped at Chapter 10 today because I got tired, but I'm also going to be working at my job this weekend too. So if you wouldn't mind starting at Chapter 11, that would be great! Organizing image categories

There's more instances in other novels that refer to the Chiss Expansionary Fleet as Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, so that name would have to be the actual name of the article, and something like "also known as Expansionary Fleet in 27 BBY". Category: Pyloon's Saloon

I created the category for Pyloon's Saloon's patrons, and was adding multiple people to it. Including Caij, Harr, Moran, Turgle, Mosey, etc. who fit into the category's description. While I was doing that, you changed the category name to "Pyloon's Saloon staff" which is not what my intention was for the page. Pyloon's staff includes about only two people/droids which is not worthy of a whole category.

Even though the name was changed, the description was still "Individuals affiliated with Pyloon's Saloon". I assumed that any person who was a patron could be in that category even though the name does say "staff" in the title, but you reverted the edits I made on the patrons' categories because they were not staff. I wanted to get this cleared up with you before I make any more edits. I don't follow your reasoning for the reversion of the date/location of death. For example, if you look at Padmé Amidala, Han Solo or Anakin Skywalker, the date and location are separately referenced due to the date not being listed in the source that gives the location. This is the same situation as Pako. Unless you can provide validation that "this is the standard for writing up a note", I request you change it back.
