Phasma's death

Dear Lewisr,

I was checking Captain Phasma's Databank entry and I looked something that I saw interesting. In the final paragraph, it says that after Phasma returned to the ranks, she prepared the Supremacy’s stormtrooper troops for a final, climactic battle with the Resistance. As I checked on Phasma's Wookieepedia page, her fate has been left ambiguous at the current moment because Gwendoline Christie, Rian Johnson and the other film folks say that she could return in Star Wars: Episode IX. However, that's only the commentaries of the film crew and not from members of the Lucasfilm Story Group, so if that battle aboard the Supremacy was Phasma's final battle, it's highly suspectable that she could have indeed died (in my opinion, evne if she survived that fiery fall with her baton, she could have died at outer space). Or maybe it's an spoiler that the stormtroopers will not fight the Resistance anymore in IX ?

  • I researched more about sentience, and dogs and animals like that are basically sentient, but what I mean is that I think that because of Dume's ability to understand and communicate Galactic Basic makes this iffy in my opinion. Why I put the section first

If I add a section, I always add that first then I go back to add content. This is just the way I edit. I never not just leave sections blank if I've added them. I don't do it to cause problems, try to up my number of personal number of edits or to mess up the page in question. It's just how I edit. I understand why you remove it and I'm not mad or anything like that at you but to me, it's like you just assume that I'm just leaving empty sections on pages. EE-4 in Star Wars 22

Hey there Lewisr, I hope you are well. Recently, I have been preparing to promote EE-4 blaster rifle to good article status, and checking all its appearances, and I wanted to ask you something about your edit here. Although Sana Starros is the only know EE-4 user at this point, in some of the comic book issues, she was portrayed carrying different weapons. In Star Wars 22, there is only one image of Sana with a blaster, which looks different than EE-4. Am I missing it somewhere, or should I go ahead and remove it from the appearances list? Doctor Aphra 7 & 8 were drawn by a different artist, and in both issues, in my opinion, Sana has a EE-3 rather than a EE-4. Adding pictures

Hi! I'm relatively new to Wookieepedia and wanted to add a few pictures to some articles. I looked at pictures in other articles to get the right measurements, 250px. But when I tried to upload a picture from my iPad it says "permission error". Does it have to do with me adding from an iPad, or my picture is not right or do I have to earn a rank to add a picture?

Recent edits regarding the World Between Worlds

Hi Lewisr, I made a few edits to the pages 'Loth-wolf', 'World Between Worlds' and the episode 'Kindred' regarding the appearance of the World Between Worlds in this episode, and how the loth-wolves can walk through it much like Ezra could in the latest Rebels episode 'A World Between Worlds. However it appears that these edits were reverted as you mentioned the loth-wolves did not enter the World Between Worlds, but rather were in a hyperspace tunnel. When I made these edits, I was refering to the scene immediately after the 'hyperspace tunnel', seen in this youtube clip here. The wolves appear to be travelling in space and create ripples under their feet, much like Ezra did in this scene here. The sound effect used after each step is the same in both clips! Hey Lewis, I don't know if you have TLJ Novel I guess you do, I saw on Twitter that its confirmed that Nien Numb was on a ski speeder during the Battle of Crait. Since only 4 speeders are seen returning which is Poe, Rose and C'ai and now Nien this will confirm the deaths of Nodin Chavdri and Pamich Nerro Goode, is it true the book confirms Nien participation as a ski speeder pilot? Hey so basically add this to your profile: {{TabsTop}} and below it {{Tab1|[[User:Vitus Infinitus]]}} which is your profile page and then bellow it add a workbench {{Tab1|[[User:Vitus Infinitus/Workbench 1]]}} That will give you a redlink and you make the page. At the bottom of the workbench add {{TabsBottom}} to close it. Then make the redlinked page and copy and paste the the exact tab layout to it that way they're connected. Mine looks like this on all my pages, main, talk page, and workbench.

Canon/Legends Tab

Hey Lewisr, do you know how to remove Canon/Legends tabs? I tried doing that on the Supreme Leader article because the Legends version is the equivalent of the Canon CIS Supreme Leader, not the First Order version. The Wookieepedia:Layout Guide states to add "|type=canon" if the article only exists in canon, but that didn't work. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks. Commanders in Lists

  • Hi, I'd to bring to your attention the Commanders list for each of the battles (i.e. Battle of Scarif, Battle of Yavin, Battle of Hoth and Battle of Endor).

I think these need to be cut down to simply overall commanders in battle. For example, Battle of Scarif page - Raddus commands naval elements (Oquone commands one ship - yes of vital importance towards the end but not really a theatre commander, same with Hera actually), Merrick commands the fighter squadrons (which Red, Gold and Green Leaders fall under his overall command - its fine for the Battle of Yavin page to have them listed but here not necessary), Andor, Jyn and Melshi for ground elements. Imperial side - Tarkin, Vader, Krennic, Gorin and Ramda yes but Romodi and Corssin aren't really needed. Battle of Yavin page - Dodonna, Red and Gold Leaders, Luke (on third attack run) and Han. With only really Tarkin and Vader for the Empire. Willard and Hudsol would be under Dodonna in overall theatre commander and Leia was merely a spectator (ditto Motti, Romodi and Bast). Battle of Hoth page - Rieekan, Firest, Luke and Leia (perhaps late battle) for the Alliance, Vader, Ozzel, Piett and Veers for the Empire. Battle of Endor page (which could do with a severe cleanup as well in its list) - Ackbar (Madine and maybe Hera fall under him), Lando (all squadron leaders and Cracken [who was merely Lando's gunner] under him), Han (Leia and Derlin under him), Luke and Chief Chirpa for the Alliance. Palpatine, Vader (maybe), Piett and Sloane (the latter with late battle next to her name), Dyer and Hewex, and maybe Iden Versio.

RE:Skywalker family

Technically speaking, Anakin Skywalker did become a member of the Naberrie family, albeit in secret, by marrying Padmé Amidala who became a member of the Skywalker family also via marriage. Unfortunately, family isn't covered in the Layout Guide so it can be argued either way. Why would we exclude Cliegg Lars and Han Solo, but include Padmé?   • That infobox on the Legends page isn't the best example, in my opinion. Even so, there's no rule preventing me from adding spouses to the members' list, using the same argument I have for the canon page. I can see how it might seem redundant to count non-blood members, but I agree with User:Alientraveller's argument on the talk page: that a person counts as a member of the family by marrying into it. If we removed the spouses from the Skywalker family, then it would stand to reason that we should do so for other family articles, like removing Beru Whitesun Lars from the Lars family. Unlike Amidala who did not take the Skywalker name, Beru did become a "Lars" but only by marriage as she's a Whitesun by birth. JRT2010 (talk) 18:24, April 4, 2018 (UTC)

Quick question regarding canon

I've noticed in my short time on this wiki that a lot of pages for information found in FFG Sourcebooks is being labeled canon. Is that the consensus? The LucasFilm Story Group has been extremely coy on the canonocity of Fantasy Flight Games, and while it seems obvious that stuff like Dawn of Rebellion and the Force Awakens Beginner Game are probably canon, I don't think No Disintegrations (Edge of the Empire) and Star Wars: Legion are. Hey Lewis, so I'm with the opinion that this whole event in Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith Mon Cala arc is the depiction of the Invasion of Mon Cala, and the Battle of Dac City is one of those battles that make up the event, especially that the comic states that Imperial forces were located throughout the world. What do you think? That way when we get more and more info we can consistently add that. Also, do you have Dawn of Rebellion? I'm considering joining Crackdown on Pipada and Uprisings on Pipada as they're basically part of the same event and look to be pretty close events, but creating another one when the Empire returns with reinforcements following the liberation of Pipada. To me Masana Tide seems to be the name of 9th sister and Bil Valen for 6th brother, but it's better to get confirmation rather than speculate. The image used for the Legends Duel on Mustafar is used as reference in the ROTS official poster which is canon per the image policy. RE:VCX-series auxiliary starfighter

Hey Lewis, it's not very noticeable but a fellow user managed to get a good screenshot here. It's not colored and doesn't stand out, but you can see the top turret and the two rear blasters. Family Pages

Hey, how's it going? So I was trying to clean up some family trees on the Skywalker and Solo family pages, and I realized that it is redundant to count Cliegg and Han in the family (especially since they are each the patriarch of their own family) as though they were actual "Skywalkers" which they're not of course. Amidala is different, as she married out of the Naberrie family and into the Skywalker family. Traditionally, the family line proper is carried through the male lineage and Star Wars seems to do this as well, seeing as how Luke and Leia (originally) took their father's surname, as well as Leia's son Ben taking Han's surname. I removed Cliegg and Han from the infobox's members list, as you originally suggested, and I've reorganized the family tree as well. Sorry for giving you a hard time abut this. Besides, Shmi and Beru took their husband's surname so I think it's safe to say that the marriage system (regarding family names and what not) in Star Wars mirrors the one in the real world. Hello. I just saw your reply to my comment to Cavalier One. Forgive me, I have no idea how to do hyperlinks and tagging here. In any case, I just wanted to say thank you for explaining that to me. I was very confused and didn’t realize that Ahsoka’s book was entirely contained in 18 BBY, - I have yet to finish reading the whole thing - so I was aware that she kills the Sixth Brother, but didn’t know when, so it didn’t even phase me that he was there. I really only made a comment on it because I’m an admin myself on a roleplay forum I created that also takes place in 18 BBY, so knowing who’s dead and who’s not is important. Even though it’s basically fan fiction, I tell my members that what we do can’t affect the canon timeline or events, so we are all OC’s, with occasional appearances from canon characters that either have no fate listed or can be borrowed for a post or two without screwing with what they go on to do. Once again, thanks for that clarification! I appreciate it and will pass it on to my members.

Thanks again! Yeah, Sorry for all these new posts, too. I have no idea how to leave that little indent notation thing you did on my page. I just registered not long ago, so I’m not used to making posts here yet. But yeah, I did know that Ahsoka was set 1 year after the Purge, but I didn’t realize that the entire book was in that time frame. I know that some other books span several years in and of themselves, so when I saw the Sixth Brother on Mon Cala, I just assumed Ahsoka was one of them. So now my members will know. Lol And it’s probably bad form to advertise my site here, huh?

Quarren warriors

Hey Lewis, thanks for the help, sorry for the confusion but I just didn't know whether to include them in Mon Cala's military, so I was playing it safe when adding it to the Mon Cala related articles. Should we include them as part of the Mon Cala military article? Throughout the Darth Vader Burning Seas arc the Quarren fight alongside the Mon Calamari, in Darth Vader 15 has a Mon Calamari sergeant telling Ackbar that a Quarren patrol team found the king, and then in Dark Lord 17 there are Quarren in the Mercantile Fleet next to Raddus, but I can't tell if none have the same armor. Archiving

I use the same website, but use a past revision instead of the current one (or in the case of a new archive, I'll save it twice). Webarchive is iffy on saving the current one right, so I usually use the calendar feature to pick a past save. Often times with the Starwars.com and Database cites the oldest revision works best, so for example the link to June 2011 there would work better than the August 2016 one.   • Webarchive certainly is a finicky thing^^ I get that screen sometimes and I'll force refresh or pick a different version; it also might give you an error resembling: 'Can't complete this request [error code]' which means it's a bad version in and of itself. Might be the same issue for you, otherwise I'm not sure. On my home wiki we've had a lot of issues with webarchive in the past, but alas, it's one of the only ways to save things.
