Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

RE: You probably haven't read any Star Wars books

Hello,
I'm sorry if I've dampened your enthusiasm by reverting your edit; it wasn't my intention. Providing an edit summary is the best way to avoid this type of confusion between editors. I would also suggest checking the spelling and grammar before publishing a new version of an article, but I know that some mistakes may go unnoticed. Blank sections and formatting

Hello and thank you for editing Wookieepedia. Please note that blank sections (subtitles with nothing under them) should not be added to articles. If you are performing an edit under these subtitles, you can use the {{Inuse}} template at the top of the page. If you do not intend to add anything to the subtitles, please remove them as soon as possible. Additionally, the Layout and History subtitles should be above the Behind the scenes subtitle. Hi, Thick Metal.
Regarding your first paragraph, I believe that you should bring the issue up with the person in question, as I do not have much knowledge in relation to your concern. Regarding the second paragraph, I assume that you want to create a page for the character in question. If that is the case, feel free to create that page as all Wookieepedia editors are encouraged to do so.
Regarding the second paragraph and your concern with Sanctuary (cantina), all Wookieepedia editors are encouraged to add to an article if something is lacking. I did not give a lecture to you on why the page is blank, or a stub. I said that sections should not be left blank if subheadings are being added.
Regarding the third paragraph, nobody is saying that you have no knowledge on the subject. Again, all Wookieepedia editors are encouraged to add to articles. If you don't know something, you can certainly ask.
Regarding the fourth paragraph, if you feel the need to guess, you can again ask another Wookieepedia editor. This is not the same as adding subheadings with nothing under them. If you add subheadings, you appear to want to add information. If you do not want to add information, do not add blank subheadings.
Regarding the fifth paragraph, your observation is not incorrect and can certainly be added to the page, and would thus make the section not blank, which is a good thing.

Hey there, to answer your question, there's no real timeframe. As Wookieepedia is entirely written and run by fans in our spare time, it's impossible to say with any certainty when something will be added. The summary said speculation/unverified info, which is in fact correct since you didn't add a source to the info. If the tales from Jabba's Palace says that then you should cite the information to that book, you can look at the sourcing policy to see how to create references, or let me know and I can add it Lewisr (talk) 01:43, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

  - I think you are slightly missing the point, I am not doubting you, I simply reverted the edit because it was unsourced so I had no idea where the info comes from. What you need to do is add the information with a reference next to it, see the link above I shared that shows to create one, or ask if you need any help Lewisr (talk) 03:27, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
    - I've already explained why I reverted the addition, you did not add the reference which you must per policy, it's really as simple as that. Regardless of what other pages say, you must add a reference. I'm afraid I can't really help with the pages loading slow, you could see if an admin has any help, or you can join the discord server Lewisr (talk) 19:21, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

        I can assure that you no one does anything like that on the Wookieepedia server, you can just join our server if you want, but if you don't want to then that is your choice and that's fine. You can look at Wookieepedia:Sourcing if you need to know how to do the referencing, or as I offered I can add that in if you tell me which is the correct source to add.
