Yes but the thing is Snoke's date of birth is not confirmed and just because he watched The Galactic Empire rise and fall does not mean he was born in that year. That is simply saying I watched it rise and fall but I was probably born in 89 BBY. So unless you have a source that confirms his date of birth don't say he was born in that year. Another thing is Snoke is quite older than Emperor Palpatine, he was born in 84 BBY so if Snoke is older than him than Snoke was born before the year 84 BBY. If we are to put his date of birth then I would highly recommend you say before 19 BBY instead of assuming it was 19 BBY. I must say the cold war began in 5 ABY and it ended in 34 ABY but specifically it only means Snoke's reign ended so wouldn't that mean Snoke's reign lasted 29 years then? If not then his reign lasted from 28 ABY to 34 ABY.

Hmmm well The First Order did flee into the Unknown Regions in 5 ABY. And they were rescued by mute aliens that served Snoke. Snoke did rise to power in The First Order quite quickly so if I was to say how long his reign lasted (in my opinion) I would agree that it lasted from 5 ABY to 34 ABY. Think of it this way, The remains of The Galactic Empire fled to the unknown regions. They were rescued by mute aliens that served Snoke and they secretly rose to power and Snoke was able to sideline his competitions due to the immense power he holds. So although there is no confirmed date it is fair to say that his reign lasted atleast 2 decades. Hopefully more of Snoke will be revealed in Star Wars: Episode IX and we can possibly pinpoint how long his reign lasted and when he was born. Desalination plant

Hi Lewisr. I’m very sure I remember reading that a desalination plant was mentioned in Catalyst A Rogue One novel. It was put on the planet that Jyn’s mother was investigating kyber crystals. Can I re-add it.

Hey Lewis, so I've come across this thread on twitter (here) of an exchange between Kieron Gillen and a reader on the commander of Beta Group in SW 50 (Who also appeared next to Willard in SW 45), that establishes Evram Lajaie. I'm not sure if this could be exempt from Forum:CT:Social media posts as canon sources or if it would be allowed under information coming from the author/script. Why rename my image

Why did you add the tag to have the image I uploaded renamed? I looked at the Image policy and I do not see anything about have the image name needs to reflect or descried what the image is showing. Nor do I see anything about the length of the filename. You also want the file type from jpg to png. The policy says that png should be used for cons, logos, drawings, maps, flags, program window screenshots, and other images with relatively few colors, but sharp color transitions. Debate

Hi Lewsir, you probably don't remember me but you helped educate me on some of the finer points on image interpretation out of RPG source books. I'm currently in a debate with some Wookie editors that are my junior (a friendly debate, over a disputed image that we are all passionate about). We can't come to a consensus, so we decided to abide by the decision of one of our seniors - you. I know you're about to read a lot of text, but please bear with me...we've kinda gone in circles, and if I don't present the issue accurately, I'll probably have hell to pay, haha.

The debate is this; in Tempest Feud, page 85 of scene three "Krin's Angle." there is a depiction of a ship (https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Vaisseau-vigilance-krin-11829.jpg). It should be noted that the ship is free standing, and is not clearly attached to any kind of stat block or ship description. However, it IS placed clearly within the scene describing the hero's ship encountering an Etti Light Cruiser (https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Etti_light_cruiser).

However, the Etti Light Cruiser is described as being based on the same space frame as the Etti Lighter (https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Etti_Lighter), which is a ship nearly 125m long. Additionally, the stats for the cruiser claims that it has ten quad laser cannons, and room for forty passengers. The image displayed only contains a turret, and fore mounted cannons of large size, which given the scale puts it at probably forty to fifty meters.

Given the visuals, it is honestly pretty clear that the ship was MEANT to be a depiction of the YV-260 "Vengeance" (https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YV-260_light_freighter). This is upheld by the fact the Vengeance has front mounted blaster cannons (two of them, accounting for the large twin barrels), and two turrets, one of which is visible in the image. Additionally, the front end of the craft - with its blocky cockpit - is clearly related to the YV-100, and other YV designs.

The problem with putting it down as a YV-260 is that references to the Vengeance and the YV-260 aren't anywhere near that scene; in fact, the encounter with the YV-260 occurred very early in the sourcebook.

Rebel files

Why did you try to undo so much of my edit on The Rebel Files? The maps in the book clearly show the locations of the planets I labeled (First pictured). If you have the book, check the maps on pages 37, 38, 145, & 154 if you don't believe me.

Trandoshans

While I was looking on articles with Trandoshans I found an article with the Trandoshan Elites. I have a question.: Why is there a page for the Trandoshan Elites when there is no page for the Trandoshan Mercenaries? I have played the game recently and there are lots of Trandoshan Mercenaries and Slavers. Don't they deserve an article too? There are like 5 Elites in Star Wars REPUBLIC COMMANDO while there at least 250 Mercs. And the big ones aren't called Elites but Heavy Mercenaries. We could make one article called Trandoshan Mercenaries and include a small part regarding the subclass known as the Heavy Mercs similar to the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion article which is mainly about the standard Neimoidian Warrior and a small part with the Neimoidian Brute which is a subclass and that had appeared in ROTS video game. Hi i have question that the executor(canon) has blizzard force on it or not.

i just saw that in y-85 titan dropship (canon)page, the page implies that executor has blizzar force. The parts are these :

part1

'However, only the largest imperial warships - such as executor-class stardreadnoughts - had a hangar to accommodte titan dropships'

And part 2

'At the hoth, general maxmillian veers decided against using titans to deploy his walker contingent'

(the second part is appeared in article of 'battle of hoth' in same contents.)

these two parts show that the titan could be used only for executor or other larger ships compared to stardestroyer, thus the second part says that the executor has a blizzard force.

the source of those parts is 'starwars complete locations 2016'.

the problem is that conculusion is perfectly 'indirectly'

what is your opinion?

Imp II

Hey Lewis, IDK if you've left for good (I hope not), but if you are still around I wanted to ask your opinion on something. For Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, Tope has asked me to update the article with info from all Imperial Star Destroyers with the Imperial II's bridge structure, thus reversing Operation: Clean up Imperial II-class Star Destroyers and going against this, upon the reasoning that it's a fair assumption to make. I can see where he's coming from, and I don't disagree per se, although I'd still prefer for things to remain as they are. As our primary canon editor, I just wanted to see your opinion on this. Invisible Hand crew info

Hey, I noticed you removed the crew complement info from the Invisible Hand infobox, and I wanted to ask about the reason. In Revenge of the Sith, we can see several OOM security and pilot droids aboard the Invisible Hand (as well as Neimoidians fleeing the bridge). Was the information removed because the droids' colored markings are not sufficient by themselves to establish them as pilot/security etc. droids, or was it something else? Thanks in advance.     • Actually I think ANH works too but adding From a Certain Point of View as well is helpful for users who may not be aware of that specific reference to Vader's Fist being on the Tantive IV. Normally I wouldn't have questioned it, given that they are the stormtroopers who serve under Vader, but the introduction of the First Legion makes it difficult to determine which legion is with him, unless one is referred to as Vader's Fist, of course. The Door to Luke's Hut

Since I added Luke Skywalker's crashed X-Wing Fighter on Ahch-To to all articles, there's something else I think should be added to all (and other) related articles as well: Luke made a part of the salvaged S-Foil (with the Red Five marks) of his X-Wing into a door for his hut, which Chewbacca later broke open. He might have used some other parts for other things too. The reference to this is The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary. Would you mind adding that in, please? Lott Dod Separatist

Lott Dod was a Separatist although he kept his post as the Trade Federations's senator at the urging of the senators who wished for a peacful end to the conflict. Shouldn't he be in the category Confederacy indivicuals? He did things on behalf of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars: conspired with Poggle the Lesser and Rush Clovis to strengthen the Separatist Droid Army by building a new foundry on Geonosis; he was dispatched by Count Dooku to interrupt the negotiations between Toydaria and the Galactic Republic; he and his colleagues asked their Separatist comrade Dooku to attack Coruscant in order to pass Gume Saam's military bill. He was clearly part of the CIS and clearly supported the secessionist movement even if he maintained a facade of aiding the Galactic Republic while also claiming that the Trade Federation was neutral. So shouldn't he be in the category Confederacy individuals? And also why can I not put the category? Is it protected or something?   • You could do that, but Lott Dod was just a representative of the Trade Federation. He Was only inside the Republic. He served as an Emissary for the Federation. The CIS made secret use of him, but he only did because the Federation was loyal to the CIS. You could put it in, but it might get deleted. Honeslty, just leave Lott Dod alone. It's generally been my understanding that with media that spans multiple timestamps, the earliest events and their dates take precedence in the Appearances section, such as how anything that appeared in Battlefront 2 lists it early on in Appearances given that it has Clone Wars-era content. Twi'lek article as source

Hi Lewisr,

I will be improving my grammar, but I needed to ask you a question. Here is the thing: There is this article at StarWars.com which speaks about the Twi'leks in the galaxy, far, far away. As I can note, it was the first source to identify Oola in the new Star Wars canon. Additionally, it canonizes some Legends name, like that Lunae Minx, the purple Twi'lek played by Katie Lucas in Episode II. When I tried to list it as a source in Ayy Vida's article, Afilmfanforlife removed it and told me that StarWars.com articles don't serve as sources, though there are exceptions like this one or the Bucket's List. Additionally, it separates canon content from Legends content, as it doesn't canonize Darth Talon, for example, so we could assume that this article canonizes some of the Twi'leks.

I noticed that the rank Grand Admiral would also be part of the First Order, considering that for the past months, many edits for the page said the New Republic held the rank Grand Admiral within their Defense Fleet (Which ain't true) and then there is the First Order who used continued the rank... is the rank Grand Admiral part of the First Order as well? So as to avoid pointless edit warring....

Did you read the comic as though Arantara happens, and then Rex applies the lesson at Mimban?When I read it, I saw it the other way around: at the Battle of Arantara, Anakin says his leadership and then Rex is recalling what happened at Mimban, so Mimban has to have preceded Arantara (ie Rex can't be telling the future). It's not a huge difference of opinion, but broadly speaking Star Wars comics flash back, not forward, so that was how I read it. — DigiFluid(Whine here) 17:56, January 16, 2019 (UTC)

Han Solo Remembering Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber

It may not be important to include, but what's wrong with putting that in? My only concern is that without it, it may sound like that was his first time seeing it, but it's not. Coleman Kcaj

Hey, I remember a while back when my edit for Coleman Kcaj having a lightsaber of some sort was removed. Well I found this picture of him and Pablo Jill: https://i.pinimg.com/474x/63/ae/08/63ae0835237c0f7288d7027e09dabada--star-wars-characters-clay.jpg

Everywhere is saying Kcaj has a green lightsaber. I don't know if that picture is official or not though. So I was wondering if you could validate that for me. Thanks!

New Page Worries

As you're about the only person who replies to my questions, prehapse you can help me. I have an idea for a new page that I've been thinking of doing for some time now. It will deal with Palpatine and his public persona and while the subject matter is found in both Canon and Legends and has been refered to in the visual guides I'm afraid to create and add the page for fear of fast deletion by the Powers That Be due to it covering a possible insignificant subjet. I guess my justafication for having this page is based on the fact there is one similar to it that's connected to Padmé Amidala already on the wiki. Am I just worrying over nothing and just go ahead and add my page if and when I'm finished with it? I've looked for something in the Polices to see if that can answer my questions but haven't had any luck. The Cad Bane Canon introduction paragraph felt very lacking for me, so I added in the Legends intro, changed the links so they would lead to the Canon articles, and removed any non-canon information.
