Plot summary
In the heart of Shu-Torun's Abyssal Rooms, the shapeshifter Tunga, disguised as a Duke, made their way back to the rebel ship. Aboard, Meorti confirmed their scan of the Queen's eye was a success. As they prepared for takeoff, Han remarked on the ship's interesting handling and how life with Leia was anything but boring.
Meanwhile, aboard the Millennium Falcon, Luke, Chewbacca, and Benthic began their part of the mission. They advised the Partisans to prepare for deployment and Luke reminded Han to get the shields down on time.
Back on the stolen vessel, Leia noted that the real Duke and his guard were awake and needed to be dropped off somewhere safe. Tunga revealed their next move: impersonating the Queen of Shu-Torun. As they neared an Imperial retreat, Leia told Tunga to get ready.
Disguised as Queen Trios, Tunga was greeted by an official who apologized for not being prepared for her swift arrival. The fake Queen ordered an inspection of all staff, including the guards. Once assembled, "Trios" instructed everyone to give their weapons to the droids for inspection. The fake Queen then locked the staff in the room and messaged the rebels that the job was done. Leia told Tunga to meet them in the throne room.
In the throne room, Meorti began slicing into Shu-Torun's main terminal. Once she finished, Han observed that stealing a planet felt "too easy."
Meanwhile, the real Queen Trios was socializing when an officer told her all exits from the Abyssal Rooms were sealed. She called for the Grand Marshal, who reported that all communications were down and that a system-wide crash was likely underway. Trios suddenly remembered the Duke's last words to her—the exact same words she had once said to Leia—and realized the rebels were behind the chaos. In frustration, she smashed her glass against a wall.
On the Millennium Falcon, Luke and Chewbacca flew toward the Spike. Benthic expressed his desire to make the planet look just like Jedha as the Falcon made it safely through the shields. The trio landed and noted the eerie silence before charging through a door at a group of Shu-Torun guards. Benthic warned Luke not to be surprised by the Partisans' chaotic actions, to which Luke reminded him that they had the upper hand thanks to Meorti's system slicing.
A Partisan presented a new option to Benthic: hyper-charging the Spike's final core to increase its shielding, which would tear the planet apart. Benthic, remembering what happened on Jedha, stated that all who serve the Empire were complicit in its sin. He pledged to remind them of their complicity with fire, so they would never forget.
