Star Wars: Force Collection

Hi. May I ask you a question regarding Star Wars: Force Collection? When treating it as a canon source, what is the actual date of publication that we are assuming for the game? This is relevant for Battle of Khorm as both Ultimate Star Wars and Force Collection provide the official name for the battle. Depending on what date we are assigning to Force Collection, it might lay claim to the {{1stID}} tag. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 07:28, September 5, 2018 (UTC)

  • Well, I do know that Wolffe's card was released as early as September, 2015. This was when CC7567 notified me of its existence, though. When it was actually released, I have no idea. I'm just going to go with Ultimate Star Wars for the 1stID tag and place the card according to the game's shutdown date, then. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 06:19, September 6, 2018 (UTC)

Heart of the Empire

I noticed you revised the Heart of the Empire campaign as it is apparently canon, and I thought I'd revise everything from that campaign to reflect this, but before I do I thought I'd check-everything that "appears" in that campaign would now be considered canon, correct? Fan26 (Talk) 21:46, September 18, 2018 (UTC)

  • I mean, I'm guessing so? I really have no idea what that campaign involves. I made that change to the article based A) on the fact that the game came out in late 2017, and we pretty much now know that everything from FFG published in 2017 or later is Canon; and b) as stated in the edit summary, it involves Ahsoka during the time of the Rebellion, so it must be Canon. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:57, September 18, 2018 (UTC)
    • In that case I'll go ahead and treat it as such. Thanks for answering. Fan26 (Talk) 21:59, September 18, 2018 (UTC)
      • No problem. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:07, September 18, 2018 (UTC)
        • This also presents an opportunity to ask something I've needed to for a while-since roleplaying games are treated as source material, not media with a canonical plot, and as such, are listed under the "sources" section as opposed to the "Appearances", the (First mentioned) template should be used as opposed to the (First appearance) template, right? I've always gone with first mentioned, but I have seen it both ways, and just thought I should check. Fan26 (Talk) 22:14, September 18, 2018 (UTC)
          • Well, it's not entirely correct to say that roleplaying games are treated as source material. If the RPG material is a campaign, we treat those as Appearances. For example, these are all RPG campaigns, which we list in the Appearances. Conversely, we treat RPG sourcebooks as Sources list items. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:20, September 18, 2018 (UTC)
            • Okay then, thanks for clearing that up. All of the material I've come across from Heart of the Empire has it listed as the first appearance but under the "Sources" section. I will revise that. Thanks! Fan26 (Talk) 22:33, September 18, 2018 (UTC)

Sacking of Coruscant

Hi. I see that you reverted my edit on this article. I believe it has something to do with its semi-protected status? However, this edit was long overdue. The image I aimed to replaced was an early concept art for TOR, while the image (from a cinematic) I used show the starships has they are depicted in the game. If you need any proof of this, here is a quote from the BTS part of Harrower-class dreadnought: Timeline 1: Treaty of Coruscant, the first in a series of videos detailing the game's backstory, used concept art of the Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer from the Legacy era in place of the Harrower-class, as the design for the Harrower-class had not yet been finalized by the video's release in March 2009. I think we can agree that using an outdated image on a Featured Article while better material exist isn't a good thing. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 19:05, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

  • You're pretty much going to get knee-jerk reverted anytime you make a content change to a status article without leaving an explanation either in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. This is because the article has been peer-reviewed and its contents approved by the community, so any subsequent changes become unverified and, worse, potentially subversive. Since you've left a reasoned explanation for your change here, you're welcome to replace your image. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:26, September 21, 2018 (UTC)
    • Ok, makes perfect sense. I will keep this in mind for later edits. Thanks! --NanoLuukeCloning facility 19:35, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Help with Tabs

Hello! My name is Schroeswald and I am one of the admins on the https://wicked.wikia.com/wiki/Wicked_Wiki. We have decided to split up our pages into book and musical pages and would like to use a similar format as your canon/legends tabs. We would like to know how the coding is set up, whatever we name our templates we will make sure to credit this wiki for the coding. --Schroeswald (talk) 23:12, September 29, 2018 (UTC)

  • I'm afraid I'm not really the one to talk to about that, as the coding is fairly complex and above my pay grade, so to speak. You would do better to ask this question in our Senate Hall. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 23:48, September 29, 2018 (UTC)

Hi Toprawa, you know that the WM had trouble archiving StarWars.com pages for some time, but it appears WM now works fine when you archive new pages. Is it possible that you can check it in your computer too? I don't want to change anything until I'm 100% sure that it works for everyone. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 23:11, October 2, 2018 (UTC)

  • I just successfully saved this article, this article, and two other Databank pages in Internet Archive, so I guess you're good to go. I would probably recommend not trying to go back and change the mid-2017 to mid-2018 SW.com archive links that weren't working before, since there might be some kind of code in those pages that was creating the problem and might have been removed from these newer articles. Spoiler policy question

Hey Tope, I wanted to ask you a question regarding the spoiler policy. The policy mentions that "information may be added upon a television episode's initial Eastern Time Zone airtime", but my question is how does this apply to episodes released in Disney's streaming service before they air on TV. For example the first Resistance episode was live to stream hours before it aired on TV and there's also couple of episodes that will be out on TV in a couple of weeks that are available to stream right now. I want to be sure before I add appearances and updating info belonging to those episodes. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 09:46, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

  • The short answer is that it doesn't apply to the streaming service, since the current policy, as worded, doesn't consider the streaming service a release. The operative wording of that policy clause is "U.S. wide-release date," which would be the initial Eastern Time Zone airtime, when the vast majority of viewers are first seeing an episode. FWIW to say, I believe this is the correct and fair way of handling this, since only a relatively small percentage of fans will be viewing these episodes ahead of time in the streaming service. Outrider/Canon

The Outrider appears in Disney Infinity 3.0 does that warrant a canon page? - Red Duel 22:26, October 15, 2018 (UTC)

  • I don't think so. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:28, October 15, 2018 (UTC)
    • The reason I asked was because Leebo was given a page and he was only mentioned in it. - Red Duel 23:26, October 15, 2018 (UTC)
      • I think we've been extremely inconsistent with how we've handled things from that game, but I'm not sure there's any advantage to creating a "non-canon Canon" article for a subject that hasn't appeared in any other Canon source material. Nor do I think there's any indication that that game is supposed to have any bearing on official Canon. It's more of a for-fun type thing. There are some things that are just "no canon," and I think this is one of them. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:06, October 16, 2018 (UTC)

Hey Toprawa. Just so you know I would totally be putting this question on a forum or something but the Knowledge Bank and the Senate Hall are not really for this. If there is a better forum let me know. So I own a copy of Ultimate Star Wars, but it does not include anything past Return of The Jedi, or any of the anthologies, or anything past season 1 or Star Wars Rebels. So is there a newer reference book? I know I can find everything on this site, but honestly I don't want to be on the internet 24/7. If you know of a newer book please let me know, and if not could you direct me either to a forum or to a Star Wars book guru. Thanks for your help. Goaliepowers (talk) 22:22, October 17, 2018 (UTC)

Timothy Zahn Interview

Hi Toprawa and Ralltiir,

I would like to inform you that given that I want to collaborate more on Wookieepedia, I have been considering making an interview with some Star Wars VIP, so I choose Timothy Zahn, given that I can communicate with him via his Facebook account. As such, I wanted to ask you two things:

First of all, is if you can verify if my page is good (here it is!) and convince other users to submit their questions to its discussion section. And the second was if you could be involved in the interview along some other admin so you chan check its verifiability once I make the interview.

Thanks beforehand!!! Unsigned comment by X9 The Android (talk • contribs)

I noticed that most of User:Risold's contributions and uploads were recently removed. While I understand they were blocked for being a sockpuppet, I was under the impression (per discussion with the blocking admin Xd1358) that their actual contributions would not be removed as they were constructive. Could I ask what changed? Fan26 (Talk) 01:12, October 30, 2018 (UTC)

  • If you would like to discuss this issue, I invite you to join our IRC channel. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 01:34, October 30, 2018 (UTC)
    • I've looked into doing that before. I guess I'll finally get around to doing that now. Just to check-when I register a nickname with freenode, no one on the #wookieepedia channel will see my email or IP, correct? Fan26 (Talk) 17:58, October 30, 2018 (UTC)
      • If you're registered with Freenode, they should not see your IP, and your email is never visible. We also have Wookieepedia:IRC/Cloaks set up so that you can obtain a specialized Wookieepdia cloak, which also masks your IP. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:19, October 30, 2018 (UTC)

        • Alright, I've finally joined. I set up, and was on the #wookieepedia channel for a sec, but I think it showed my IP? i joined and it displayed "Fan26@IP....." or something of the sort for a sec. Was that something only I would see? Fan26 (Talk) 14:39, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
        • Also, pressing the 'whois' function displayed my email. I thought it shouldn't be able to do that? (also sorry if it seems like I keep spamming concerns or something btw. Just trying to figure this out.) Fan26 (Talk) 16:47, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
          • I can answer these questions better if you come on IRC so I can see your credentials firsthand. Everyone in the channel right now is a veteran, verified, and trusted Wookieepedian, so your privacy is safe. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:32, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
            • Sorry it took a day to get back to this. Heading to IRC now. Fan26 (Talk) 22:24, November 1, 2018 (UTC)
  • This is interesting; I was contacted by another sockpuppet offwiki. I'm going ahead and blocking them there, but I thought I'd keep you apprised. Fan26 (Talk) 19:38, October 30, 2018 (UTC)
    • That's also Mauser. You're not the first person he's tried to recruit into subverting our rules and editing for him. You've done the right thing by bringing this to our attention and not taking his bait, so good job. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:19, October 30, 2018 (UTC)
      • I've seen that user's presence in a lot of SWTOR-article history (Across many usernames). I'm guessing the deletion of the articles is an attempt to discourage their continued ban evasion, but I'll still try to finally join IRC now that I'm getting my questions on it answered. Thanks. Aliases

Hi! How should aliases of a person or ship be listed in the appearances section of their source? Having trouble finding if there's a prescribed way to that. Would something like Ezra Bridger (First identified as Dev Morgan) be appropriate? Toqgers (talk) 21:47, November 12, 2018 (UTC)

  • I suppose it depends on the circumstances of the story. In the case of Ezra Bridger, I'm not sure it's really necessary. I would consider it more necessary if, for example, we were introduced to a character by a name that turned out to be an alias, then we learned their real name later on. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:49, November 12, 2018 (UTC)
    • Gotcha. The ones I actually have in mind are Roaky Laamu and Sunfighter Franchise for Han and the Falcon which are used in canon in the new Smuggler's Guide (as seen in the preview pics on Amazon). They don't strike me as particularly important (I mean, Han's a smuggler, aliases are part of the game!) except in that they exist both in canon and legends now. What do you think is the right way to approach these? Toqgers (talk) 22:00, November 12, 2018 (UTC)
      • I don't think Canon/Legends has any bearing here necessarily. The existence of alias articles is also a matter of some historical public debate on Wookieepedia; i.e., does Roaky Laamu really need to be its own article? Why not just redirect it to the Han Solo article? Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:13, November 12, 2018 (UTC)
        • That makes sense. I think then, as used in the Smuggler's Guide unless the contents of the rest of the book lends them more significance or reveal, no real need for their own page (as for the existing pages... I guess that's for someone who knows those sources to decide haha). I really appreciate all the help! Toqgers (talk) 22:39, November 12, 2018 (UTC)

Star Wars: Armada

Why is some of Star Wars: Armada in legends continuity when the whole game came out after the 15 April, 2014 reboot of the Star Wars canon wasn’t everything that came out after that supposed to be canon unless specifically stated? - Red Duel 19:47, November 14, 2018 (UTC)

  • Mostly because some of its contents are clearly Legends-based, and Lucasfilm has given us little to no indication on whether or not FFG's different gaming lines are canon. The only real word we've gotten is from Jennifer Heddle, who said once upon a time that they would "figure it out." We're still waiting for them to figure it out. So in the meantime, Legends subjects that appear in these FFG products but have appeared in no other Canon material, we're treating as Legends for the time being. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:45, November 14, 2018 (UTC)

How I can do an interview?

Hi Toprawa and Ralltiir,

As I communicated to you sometime ago, in an interview request far, far away ;) I proposed to interview Timothy Zahn about his work in the Star Wars franchise. I'm going to ask him possibly tomorrow to do it after New Year's Eve (in advance, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!), and we have listed many potential questions, both me and other users, but I really don't understand the seven step on the interview policies. I asked you to verify it and you stated that before giving your approval, you wanted to see the questions, which are on their place, but I really don't understand that seven step.

Please, I request your help. I'm new in this of making interviews and I want to greatly contribute to Wookieepedia.

P.D.: Additionally, after Mr. Zahn, I thought that perhaps we could interview Andrew Jack and Mike Quinn. Additionally, I would recommend you to try again your interview with Arve Juritzen. Perhaps he is no longer busy :)

Greetings!----X9 The Android (talk) 18:39, December 22, 2018 (UTC)

  • Ultimately, rule 7 of the interview process is quite clear that you need an administrator (ideally two or three) overseeing everything as you make contact with the VIP. In other words, an administrator should be sending the questions and conducting the actual interview. I don't have time myself to spearhead this project. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:56, December 22, 2018 (UTC)
    • So, why can I make? Search for another admin to oversee the project?----X9 The Android (talk) 23:51, December 26, 2018 (UTC)

RE: Jose Cabrera

I am currently hunting down an external link for the bibliography of Jose Cabrera to remove the template you added. However, I have been unable to find any StarWars.com sources. Would sites outside of Star Wars, say a site displaying information about the Star Wars Insider that isn't StarWars.com, count? Otherwise the only source for his work on "Inbrief" will the issue itself. Braha'tok enthusiast (talk) 21:32, January 5, 2019 (UTC)

  • For real-world articles, all you need to do is add any official source that mentions the article subject's name to a Bibliography section. The Bibliography section works the exact same way that the Sources section does for in-universe articles. So, in this case, the InsiderCite template you used for issue 161 and "Inbrief," add that same template to a Bibliography section and you're done. The End of "Wikia"

So I'm sure you've noticed by now the banner that sometime in the next few weeks we're going to be moving on our URLs from Wikia to Fandom. As such, with the death any labeling of the site as "Wikia," I was wondering if maybe we should modify our Wookieepedia:What Wookieepedia is not to indicate that "Wookieepedia is not Fandom" (and change associated language within that section to read "Fandom" instead of "Wikia") and if this is something that would require a Consensus Track, given that it's basically just changing it reflect that the site is no longer labeled as Wikia, but instead Fandom. Thoughts? ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:22, January 19, 2019 (UTC)

Tom B. Long deletion

Hello there, I was just researching his contributions to Star Wars (adventures). It's my first time making an article and I didn't know how to make bullet points, so I finished creating it and saved changes. While I was at posting his contributions (found evidence of his contribution to adventures (found issue #3 and #15 so far), the page was deleted. Any way it could be restored (again, I'm only a padawan)? --Kampfdackel (talk) 20:04, January 28, 2019 (UTC)

  • Hi, since this is your first time creating an article, you're probably going to run into some issues with our formatting rules in regards to how we require articles to be organized and the minimum amount of information we expect them to include. For that reason, I would suggest first creating the article as a rough draft in our Jundland Wastes sandbox, where you can tinker around without anyone stepping on your toes. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:10, January 28, 2019 (UTC)

Sourcing Instagram stories

Hey Tope, I'm currently in a situation. On Instagram, @disneybooks announced three Star Wars books on their Instagram stories, but there's no way to link to the stories since, well, they're stories. I have screenshots of the stories. I was able to make Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga since the author, Delilah S. Dawson, posted it on her twitter and so I was able to source it to that, although it doesn't have all the details from the story on Instagram. Let me know what you think, thanks.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 20:28, January 31, 2019 (UTC)

  • Can you link me to whatever URL this is? Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:39, January 31, 2019 (UTC)
    • Here is the profile of @disneybooks on Instagram. You can see the stories when you click on their profile picture.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 21:52, January 31, 2019 (UTC)
      • I see. You'll just have to take screenshots for now and upload them onto our social media image reference pages until they create official product pages for these things. For the purposes of article creation, you won't be able to populate an External links section until that happens, which is ok in these circumstances. Darth Kwiatkowski Ossus

I don't know the system of Wookieepedia - I'm the editor and administrator of page based on other system, so I'm not sure about lot of actions taking place here. The main and only reason why two years ago I created my account here is to add polish interwiki to your articles. It was good by the long time but now you have many problems with what I am doing here. I was talking with one of Wookieepedia's admins half year ago, but I'm not sure with who. I was thinking I explained my point of view.

During adding polish interwiki I am using only basic methods shared by your page: going to article> edit> "in other languages"> interlang> pl> apply changes> save. It's not my invention, I am just doing what Wookieepedia suggest. This "errors I am consistently making" is two whitespaces between "=" made automatically during using this option. I don't understand why you are following my edits and "correcting" this - finally article look the same. You are just doing empty edits and trying to find problem in all this. If something is wrong in my edits, it's fault of options shared by your page.

Other topic is "advices" you are giving me on my talk page. I do not get any notification about it. I don't know your system so I can't explain why, but I never got any notification. The reason of this message is simply - 5 minutes ago I saw in my talk page information about month block superimposed on my account 2 months ago. I didn't know about any block because I always come here one time per month, just to add new interwiki. If you want to ban my account, just do it. Editing Wookieepedia is not my hobby and not my business, I am just doing what I need to do during editing Ossus (polish wikia about Star Wars). As you can see, propably I won't notice it like it was last time.

I am administrator too and I know what you are trying to achieve, but all this is unnecessary. These whitespaces are not the most important problem on Wookieepedia and correcting this is unnecessary, beacuse the page finally looks the same, but if you want to change it, you should first fix options shared by this page. I want to work correctly, but I wont check my talk page every time I edit any page on Wookieepedia.--Darth Kwiatkowski Ossus (talk) 00:02, February 7, 2019 (UTC)

Meeting 53 will be on Sunday 17th of February, 2019 at M ET / 9 PM UTC. Ayrehead02 (talk) 17:44, February 7, 2019 (UTC)

Hello there

Classically, I'll start with the well-known "Hello there" as above.

The issue is about the user Darth Kwiatkowski, who was lately banned again. As far as I learn, his ban is directly connected to the stuff we covered in summer. I don't say he isn't at fault at all 'cause the fact he has been banned must mean there was an issue that caused it. If there were any chances that you can talk to him, he'll be waiting on the Discord server, as he can't get to the IRC.

By the way, please let me know if I'd better not write here like that :) @Mustafar29「talk」(he/him/his/hisself) 15:25, February 8, 2019 (UTC)

Jedi Temple Guard Double Bladed Lightsaber

I noticed you deleted the page I made describing the Jedi Temple Guard Double Bladed lightsaber with the note "Nonsense: This is like having an article for "Jedi lightsaber"".

I fail to see how this is "nonsense" when this is a unique variant of the lightsaber with a similar design that has only been seen being used by Jedi Master Pong Krell. Could you further elaborate on your reasonings?

Ruchalus (talk) 23:00, February 21, 2019 (UTC)Ruchalus

Why remove the page on Collapsible Double Bladed Lightsabers?

I had just created a page showing the unique lightsaber variant that has a collapsible hilt, yet you deleted it just like the last one. I can sort of get why you would delete the last one but I'm not sure why this one. You haven't replied to my previous query but I ask that you have the common courtesy to respond to this one and elaborate further on your reasons why you would delete this page.

I gave references to everything, listed sources, appearances, I feel like I've done everything right. I may be a newbie but so is every user here at some point. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know so I can learn. But just deleting my pages without explanations is sort of coming off as elitism to me, as if my pages aren't good enough because I'm a new member. Please, all I ask is for an explanation. Why are my articles being deleted and labeled as "nonsense"?

Ruchalus (talk) 05:21, February 22, 2019 (UTC)Ruchalus

  • It's unnecessary as its own article. Just add the information under the double-bladed lightsaber article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:26, February 22, 2019 (UTC)
    • Then why does the Double-bladed spinning lightsaber not follow those same rules? It has its own page yet the collapsible one can't? Ruchalus (talk) 06:23, February 22, 2019 (UTC)Ruchalus
      • Because that has a source that actually identifies it by a unique, formal, and distinguishable name. Yours is conjectural. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 06:27, February 22, 2019 (UTC)
        • I used this page https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Pong_Krell%27s_lightsabers as a reference as his lightsabers were collapsible, yet it too had the conjectural label because the official name of it is to be determined like the article I made. Yet that page is still up and running, I strongly believe that it is a unique form of lightsaber that would benefit from having its own page. Ruchalus (talk) 06:30, February 22, 2019 (UTC)Ruchalus

Smuggler's Guide Release Date?

Hi Toprawa and Ralltiir, it's Ghost of LucasArts. I remember how you told me that these in-universe reference books usually take about six months to appear in stores after online availability, but at this point, what month do you think I could expect to see Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide in stores? User:Ghost of LucasArts; 3:24 PM; March 29, 2019

  • Who can say? Rebel Files came out in July 2018 after its November 2017 Deluxe Edition release. I would have expected the same treatment for Smuggler's Guide, but normally they would have released a pre-release product page on Amazon or Barnes & Noble by now, but I don't see one yet. Your best bet is to just keep checking Barnes & Noble's website every so often until it appears. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:44, March 29, 2019 (UTC)

A quick favor

Wikia/Fandom is completely FUBAR'd regarding images right now. It will not let me save edits to image/file pages. I reported it to Wikia/Fandom and haven't heard back yet, though it hasn't yet been 48 hours. Then today, I thought it might just be an issue with the {{Tumblr}} template causing a problem. So with File:Black Squadron Assault TCB by Nash.jpg I conducted a test to see if it would let me save an edit without any sort if template usage. And what do you know, it saved just fine. Convinced it must be the Tumblr template, I went to revert the test edit, and the same thing happened and it will not let me revert my test. I hope I haven't lost you on all this. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind, as an admin, seeing if it will let you revert my test edit to that image I linked to? Thanks in advance. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 00:54, April 1, 2019 (UTC)

  • No problem. The reversion seems to have worked successfully. No idea what the issue could be. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:58, April 1, 2019 (UTC)
    • Thanks, can you do one more revert please. This one will show you how truly messed up Wikia is. File:No Disintegrations FC character art.png. I added the Tumblr template, and it let me save it. But in saving it, it removed all the *, :, / and | from the information template. You'll see what a mess that made. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 01:07, April 1, 2019 (UTC)

  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will say that our images are correct -- IIRC, this was a case of Kenner mixing up the images back in the 1980s, so those action figure cards have the names and pictures mixed up. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:23, April 15, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Patti97

Regarding Patti97, I took a look over the offending user's contributions & noticed that most of the user's edits are similar in content to those I reverted, i.e. random numbers prepended to the entries of various participants in battles. Many of these edits remain unreverted. Should I revert these en masse or leave them to be verified first? Those that I (& others) have reverted thus far have had no actual support from the sources cited, but I don't want to assume bad faith & mistakenly revert them all according to the same precedent. It's possible that some of these numbers are actually correct & I don't have all the materials on hand to verify them individually. How should I proceed? Thanks! SeboltoTalk 21:15, April 29, 2019 (UTC)

  • Yes, it's possible some of the figures are in fact correct, although myself and others have determined in the past that other figures added by this user have not been, so there's no way to know for sure. Considering this user hasn't attributed any of their contributions to a reliable source, we may safely assume all of them to be unverified and therefore fair game for reversion. So, yes, please feel free to revert any and all such edits made by this user. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:18, April 29, 2019 (UTC)
    • Just so you're aware, I've gone through all edits constituting the latest revisions to pages & reverted most of those incorporating the aforementioned "magic numbers." The user's other edits—mostly related to quote fixes & audio clip additions—were left untouched. From what I could see, the user made a good faith effort with those, though I didn't check each individually. SeboltoTalk 00:46, April 30, 2019 (UTC)

bridging the 2005 concept art for Ashla

re the "All of this is just Ahsoka Tano BTS information" from deleting Ashla (precursor character) where this gets sort of complicated is that it appears that Filoni might have originally intended the character he was writing in 2005 to actually be Ashla (Jedi) whose name had been revealed the previous year in File 138. So the art isn't just precursor to Ahsoka, but also unused future potential for Ashla as well. Ahsoka clearly appears to have been an adaptation of an unused idea for Ashla.

Although we know Ashla (from File 138 / Attack of the Clones) and Ahsoka are not the same person, it appears that Ashla from AOTC and Ashla from the 2005 initial concepts for Clone Wars could've been the same, since she was initially pitched as a younger character and then aged-up into Ahsoka. talk2ty 08:27, June 2, 2019 (UTC)

        • I am not having any problems myself, nor have I heard of any other issues. I'm still guessing your problem is related to the recent bot work. If you have a high number of articles on your watchlist, a great many of them will have been edited by a bot, so the number of items that your watchlist is trying to load is enormous and may therefore be making it difficult for the page to load, particularly if you have a slow connection. I just read that comic to check. The ship exists, shows up and is not "nonsense" considering the description was shape and comparison. I even made a note that It differed from the TCW episode.

Now, if there was an actual error check the comic, and fix it. We're a wiki, thats what we do. Otherwise, please check the source before deleting something. Nolanstar (talk) 19:41, June 6, 2019 (UTC)
