Thanks

Thanks for the congratulations. I'm glad you got Inqship too. You definitely deserve it. Chack Jadson (Talk) 18:56, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Congrats!

Hey man, congrats on the inq title! I'm especially happy for you since you always read my nominations. lol.

Seriously though, nobody deserves it more. Nice going. --Colinmcev 17:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Wampa

Ever since you requested the Bts image of the unused wampa costume from BtM, I see you're working on overhauling the wampa article. Great going, it looks really good so far. They have been deleted a while back, but I have several images from The Wildlife of Star Wars, one of which is a wampa and her cubs that might fit nicely into the Society and culture section. Let me know if you're interested. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:25, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Good deal. I'll upload and put it in when I get home later this afternoon. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:31, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Changing name for Talk page

Hello I'm relatively new to wookieepedia, and I noticed that some people had changed their talk page name, when they sign their comments, was wondeering if you chould tell me how to change mine?? thanks - Kingpin13 19:33, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

  • I'd be glad to help, but I'm afraid I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. Do you mean you want to know how to change how your signature appears after leaving a comment? Like this: Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:35, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
    • erm.. See up above JMS left a message for you, he's got a "Hey, it's me!" next to his name which leads to his talk page. I was wondering how to get that? Kingpin13 19:37, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Sure, I'll explain it, but unfortunately you've caught me at a bad time. I am leaving for class at this very moment. If you can wait, I'll explain, but feel free to ask someone else in my absence. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:40, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
        • Nah, I'm happy to wait, ta Kingpin13 19:41, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
          • I've got ya covered Toprawa. If you look here, it will explain how to make a customer signature Kingpin: Custom Signature. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:42, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Merrejk

Take a look at my suggestion on the nom page an the edit I made to the intro, see if it still meets your approval. If not, please go ahead and revert it. This is your nom and I don't don't like how I shortened the intro, I'll just strike my objection but just not vote for it ;) but won't hold it back. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:13, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

  • I'm curious if you reverting back to the last edit you made intentionally also removed the drastically better infobox image I put there in my first edit. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:46, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Oh, no. I didn't even notice the image change. Please do put that back. :) And, at any rate, thanks for looking over the article. :) Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:58, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

New at Wookieepedia

Hi there, I discovered Wookiepedia by accident some time ago. I can't tell you all how much I have enjoyed it as a supplement to my reading of the STAR WARS novels. Just started enjoying all them recently as I am no longer working. Using the site as I read really brings the STAR WARS galaxy to me even better. I can read the books out of order and use the site to look up all the things I don't understand. Such as the charecters and planets etc.

It has been a true WONDER and I would like to thank everyone who contributes and who have brought the STAR WARS universe into my home, heart and mind better than ever. I like it better than the reality of our world.

THANKS YOU ALL FOR THE GREAT WORK AND I HOPE TO HELP YOU ALONG AS I CONTINUE TO READ ALL THE AVAILABLE NOVELS.

            WITH SINCERE REGUARDS,
AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL Melnerika 03:39, 19 April 2008 (UTC)MelnErika

Kegan

Hello, I've come to ask a favor. I've been looking at Good Articles lately, and I was wondering if you would mind taking a quick glance at Kegan. I kinda want to know a general idea of what would need to be done to it to make it a Good Article (but I don't want to nominate it or anything, for I don't really know enough about the process yet.) One thing, for the sources, most of the article is from the Fight for Truth, but there is a little tiny bit from Databank. Would I then have to source every paragraph, or could I just source the bit from the Databank and would the rest be assumed as coming from the Fight for Truth? So I'd really appreciate it if you could take a quick glance (just a glance - I don't want to waste too much of your time!) - and thanks for helping out someone who's pretty new to this. :) Aqua Unasi 18:50, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks! It doesn't have to be very thorough or anything - just a quick idea. Oh, and good luck with that schoolwork, I feel for you - I have a research paper due next week... I should probably go do that... :) Aqua Unasi 21:56, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Re: Gallofree

Actually, the only thing that was agreed were no longer accepted were gallery pages. Small demonstrative galleries in articles were not part of the "galleries must die" policy. Even Darth Culator agreed that he didn't believe that small galleries in articles were included in the new policy. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:45, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

pronunciation of STAR WARS vocabulary?

Hi there, since your the first Administrator type I have had the pleasure to meet via Wooki, maybe you could tell me where I might go to find out how to pronouciate the many words of the STAR WARS universe. I'm sorry if this isn't the place to ask such a question, but I still getting to know my way around.

Nyna

Hey, I reverted your edit to Nyna because the sourcing in the intro was required as part of the FAN objections. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have cared :P Greyman Jan.png (Talk) 00:12, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

FAN objections

Cool it with the attitude on the FAN page. Your job as an objector and Inquisitor is to help improve the article, not to "teach" 4dot. Comments like:

"Do your research, 4dot. You're writing a Featured Article. That I had to go in to look this up for you is pretty bad."

"Wow. How could you leave out the bit about Piett seeing Vader unmasked before the asteroid report...?"

"Your quote heading the "Admiralty" section is...incorrect. I'm going to let you change it so you can learn from your mistake. I suggest turning on the captions for the ESB DVD."

are unnecessary; borderline in tone at best, and in the first case coming off as downright antagonistic. You can object to issues with the article without taking an attitude towards the author. - Lord Hydronium 01:16, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

  • It's not a lecture, it's your warning. Make objections without the attitude, or don't make them at all. If this is a personal problem, take it up on IRC. I will not have the FAN page turned into a vehicle for any kind of attack, antagonistic behavior, or personal dispute. If you continue to adopt a hostile tone on the nomination page—or anywhere else on the wiki—you will be blocked. - Lord Hydronium 02:16, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Hetton

I'll look at it again, see if I can flesh anything else out before nominating it for FA. But thanks for your support!! Darth Xadún 07:28, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Lekauf

No, he just dies sometime before 40 ABY. Never appears in anything after 17 BY, but he's mentioned in the Legacy series. On another note, I was planning on nominating this for FA. What do you think of that? Chack Jadson (Talk) 01:00, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

FAN for Stazi

Hey Toprawa (spelled it correctly this time! :-p). When you have a chance, would you mind checking out the Stazi article? How does the Inquisitorius work? Are they required to look at each FAN, or do they just browse the ones they want? I am curious because I have seen several articles added after Stazi that are getting voted on, while the Stazi one is quiet. The only objections raised so far have been addressed. As this is my first real FAN, any advice would be appreciated. AdmiralNick22 15:36, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the advice. Chack has started to look at the article, so it is good to see the ball rolling. Once you and he have reivewed it I will ask some of the others to take a peek as well. AdmiralNick22 18:22, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Have you had a chance to review the Stazi article yet? We have two Inq votes so far! :-) AdmiralNick22 19:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
      • I have completed your latest round of requests. Feel free to make any edits you feel improve the article. You have been a tremendous help, so I trust your edits completely. :-) AdmiralNick22 20:41, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Political Uprising of Empress Teta system

Ok, you'd better have a good reason

Why revert the AT-AT article back to its previous nonsensical form? The opening history section once again makes no sense, given recent sources. VT-16 06:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Radio dramas

I just thought I'd offer, that if you have any need for information contained in any of the SW radio dramas (SW, TESB or ROTJ), I own all three, so just let me know and I'll find it for ya. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 17:51, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Couple of questions

Hey, quick question for you. There's a big full-page image of a couple AT-STs running through a trench during the Battle of Hoth, as Rebel troopers flee in one of the Marvel compilations. The pic is called "War in the Ice Trenches of Hoth!" and it's by Michael Golden. Since you're spiffing up Battle of Hoth, would this pic have a place, or are you good to go? The second question is about the "Quality reviewing" header for the next Inq meeting. I just wanted to make sure that you knew that some of us just do the review over IRC, which is why sometimes there are no objections. So, based on this, what would you think the best procedure is? Is it better to write, "went over this on IRC" next to our vote so as not to make other Inqs suspicious? Or is it more about no edits being made in between the vote? Just trying to clarify the issue at hand. Cull Tremayne 06:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Because you care about the encyclopedia moreso than most others...

Wookieecookie
Fiolli has awarded you a Wookiee Cookie!
Work with great diligence you do. The amount of work you put into the encyclopedia cannot be understated.

—Honestly, there just isn't another award yet that quite suffices for the hard work you put into the wook. Know that it hasn't gone unnoticed. Now, (Since you won't take a day off and relax for personal time) take a deep breath… Ok. Now you can get back to work. :) Master Aban Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 03:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Red Links

Lol. When I say "removing" It's much more likely that I'm redirecting and thus eliminating the redlink, replacing it with a valid link. Though I did remove a redlink, because the article to which it was linked had been deleted for unverifiablitly.Amth (Enter my Mind) 07:08, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Eh. Put it back, then. not that big of a deal. Amth (Enter my Mind) 07:19, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Condensing Appearance

Reason why I did that was, editor don't have to scroll unnecessary through so many appearances when they could be easily grouped together. And also I saw grouped Jedi Quest novels in Anakin Skywalker article, so I thought (knowing for sure same character appears in every single book from certain serie), it would be a good idea to put them together instead of write every single one separately. Anyway I thing result is the same and less work for editor. But that's just my opinion.--Jedi Marty 20:24, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

GA Review

lol, I actually forgot about that myself! The article is Kegan, if you still want to take a look. :) Hopefully this summer I'll be able to work on it more. Thanks again, Aqua Unasi 19:02, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Felacatian

May I ask why you removed my edit on Felacatian? Look at Riao Siao, who is a Felacation - she has pointy ears in the picture featured in that article. To verify I wasn't just seeing things, I went back and read the entire "Star Wars Republic: Honor and Duty" comic and paid attention to her ears. You can't base anything on the Felacatians in Bad Business because none of their ears are shown. If you have a good reason to revert that edit, please say it; otherwise, I see no reason to remove a fact that is evidenced so well. I even made an account so you could respond. KatAngel 05:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

  • What sources are cited for their having short fur? I see far more evidence to the ears than the fur. From what I can tell by reading every comic they've appeared in, they seem just as likely to have smooth skin. I cited the source of Star Wars Republic: Honor and Duty. What more do I have to do?
    • I fail to understand, firstly, how photographic evidence isn't a source that can be attributed to. You also didn't answer my question on how the other attributes were "explicitly verified;" if you would do so, I would understand better how to verify this one. But whatever. Now I know not to edit Wookieepedia anymore, because apparently my sources aren't as good as everyone else's. I don't want to argue about it, so if it's not going to go anywhere, just don't respond. KatAngel 06:21, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

A message from the project manager
A belated update on Project Wormhead Project Wormhead!
Sorry about the delay in getting this out. I was on vacation at the beginning of the month and forgot about it. First, let me thank a number of people for their efforts on the project this past month: Greyman, for his work on the Marvel expansions. Jaina Solo added information from Star Wars Union, and a couple other people have made smaller edits as well. That's very encouraging and I thank all of you for your help. For the moment, I have to say that Luke isn't my priority at the moment-I'm working pretty hard on finishing Wraith Squadron, but once that's done, I will be back to work . In other news, Project Wormhead has now surpassed the actual Luke Skywalker article in content and will soon pass up Palpatine. It'll probably take us another month to pass up Mr. Horn, though. Anyway, keep up the good work. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 18:07, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Please, just take a peek and I'll be off your back. -- Joe Butler (Obi Maul12) talk 15:53, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
    • Um, I've taken care of my end so far. You still have unresolved objections. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:18, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
      • Yeah, I'm very sorry, I've just noticed your comment from the 16th. My apologies, I will get to it now. -- Joe Butler (Obi Maul12) talk 00:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
        • I'm not sure what you mean in your objection. In the article, the "Q-series" title for the droideka is first mentioned in the intro, where I can't source it. Are you asking which source first came out with the Q-series and dubbed it so? -- Joe Butler (Obi Maul12) talk 00:48, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
          • For future reference, I would appreciate if you handled these discussions on the GAN page. And you don't need to notify me every time you handle a list of objections, just make a note on the nomination page. I can see it there. And, yes, I am looking for the latter. Every article should have a (First appearance) and/or (First mentioned) tag in the appearances/sources. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:56, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

RE:Project Ambition

  • Well, we won't be moving on to the Executor for awhile I don't think. I think we're going to concentrate on individuals first, then organizations, campaigns and then ships. But who knows? Thats just a guideline. I don't want to put any definite outline into effect, but that's just the general direction I'd like to push. But by all means, if you're going to work on Executor, then, once we're done with Daala, we'd be happy to help, I'm sure. Also, if you'd like to join the project itself feel free. We'd be happy to recieve your help, since our project is only in its infancy.--Mitth'raw'nuruodo(Imperial HoloNet)20px 00:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

The latest on Project Wormhead!
It's summer and that means, at least for me, that a lot of things need to happen over the next couple months if Luke is going to be a GA this year. I don't even entertain any notions of FA, because there's simply too many obscure/minor appearances and sources. I will be working heavily on the novels, and I know others are focusing on comics, games, and whatever those Missions things fall under. Thanks Xwing. For this month, I'm going to hammer out the rest of the Young Jedi Knights series first and then progress to the Bantam novels whenever I get to them. That means if you want to work on a Bantam novel, it probably should be done this month. ;-) I hope everyone enjoys their summer and finds a chance to participate. I definitely appreciate all the work that's been done so far. Cheers. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 17:58, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Wampa

  • "The bigger Yuzzem debuted in the very first Star Wars spin-off novel, Splinter of the Mind's Eye (1978) by Alan Dean Foster. The name, though, appears to be a Lucas original. If you own a copy of The Art of the Empire Strikes Back, turn to page 24 and look closely at the first architectural drawing of the Echo Base ice corridors. A callout points to a scored section of wall and says "Yuzzem to break through dotted area." The wampa ice creature was at one time called a Yuzzem."
  • This was found on StarWars.com in the Questions and Answers feature of the Community section. Look in the Expanded Universe section of questions. It is dated December 17, 2004 and is about Yuzzem. I though you might like to add that to the Wampa article. --Eyrezer 04:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
  • I would have linked you to it, but it is in flash so I couldn't get a URL. --Eyrezer 04:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
  • You might enjoy looking through the Ep5 questions too. There may be some info useful for Hoth, ie "As revealed in the Star Wars: Complete Locations book published by DK Books, the AT-ATs arrive on Hoth via Incom Y-85 Titan dropships." --Eyrezer 04:43, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Ok, I had a quick look in SotESB and the Executor does get mentioned. Rather than type it, I've uploaded it here. As far as I could see, this was it (I checked both the starships and the Empire sections only). --Eyrezer 01:45, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Harpoon and tow cable

  • The more I think about it the less convince I am about the removel of the merge; my thinking is still that since it was made from a from what Tales from Jabba's Palace hints at is a Grappling hook unless that book is uncanon I will still most likely add the harpoon into the new page as an evolution of the Grappling hook and link the harpoon back to the Rogue Doctrine page and expand the section their. I would like you opnion on this if enough people tell me I'm wrong I'll stop but I guess I see it as improvised weapon not a whole new item. Thanks. (Thunderer 05:52, 6 June 2008 (UTC))
  • Im sorry I'm not good at makeing my points; the Harpoon and tow cable says right now that it's an improvised why point is that if its an improvised weapon it must have been improvised from something and since the only source I can find is from When the Desert Wind Turns: The Stormtrooper's Tale were he says to justfie the kneeling of his walker by his woring that a grapling wire could be used to trip the walker I'm not trying to say he invented it or any thing rather I'm trying to say that no one invented it, it was a tool that existed prior to it being used in this method. Thank for you veiw point if we don't solve this I'll drop it. (Thunderer 06:31, 6 June 2008 (UTC))
  • Im still confused this means that the harpoon was created it's not a improvised weapon so that needs to be changed in the Harpoon and tow cable yes?
    • Thank you for putting up with throughout, all that

Sorry to bring this up again....

Should Ubrikkian be mentioned as the manufacturer of the Harpoon and tow cable system[1] (Thunderer 04:12, 9 June 2008 (UTC))

"Across the galaxy, power harpoons and tow cables are bolted onto tugs and airspeeders. These cables are....the rebel alliance frequently add harpoons to its T-47 airspeeders. They were then used for transferring cargo modules during base deployment....The Ubrikian power harpoon is a simple device that consists of a magnetic accelerator, multiple fusion disks....such harpoon launcher turned out to be potent weapons at the famous battle of hoth"
―Bill Smith[src]*The T-47 page list Ubrikkian as the manufacturer. (Thunderer 04:43, 9 June 2008 (UTC))

I was intrested if you could also help me with another issiue if you don't mind. I was woundering if I could get your opnion on the Harrow page; the ship is never mentioned as being a Victory class and it seams that is should be a new or unknown classification thank you for any help you can give. (Thunderer 04:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC))

Possible solution.. Their is a Rogue Doctrine page it seams like this is what Beryl Chiffonage helped to create and that the Power harpoon launcher exist prior to the usage against walkers. (Thunderer 04:38, 10 June 2008 (UTC))

  • No problem. Chack Jadson (Talk) 16:12, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Yes, I am actually. As soon as it passes GAN, I'm planning to nominate it for FA. I'd also like to nominate H'nemthe for FA sometime too. Chack Jadson (Talk) 12:12, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Hoth

I just wanted to know why you reverted my edits at the Battle of Hoth. At the very least, they made the article look a bit more presentable. But if you've got a good reason, let's hear it. Unit 8311 14:04, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Shame!

Sorry, I'd have to say yes. By the way, I'm back! Sort of... JadenKorr13 06:39, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks for the info. I just noticed that Cay's original intro (before I started working on it) was taken word for word from that. Anyway, I will work on your other objections. As for the TOTJ companion, I don't own it, so I just used what was in the article. I'll look around for it, and add the missing information. Chack Jadson (Talk) 22:53, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Tow cable image

I uploaded image ATAT tripped.jpg and placed it in the Chiffonage article where it seemed appropriate. Hope that's what you were looking for. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:08, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Should thank Culator too, He uploaded, in his opinion anyway, a better image over mine. The version I uploaded was sharper, but his is closer in. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 20:24, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

OK, as for the image of Chiffonage from the Visual Dictionaries, I've tried, but won't be able to get a decent scan of the image. It's a tiny picture, with Chiffonage an even tinier speck on the picture, right on the spine of the book. Sorry. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:04, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Misik objection

Hey, T&R. One of your objections to Misik was about the "RD and RD script". I initially thought that I knew what you meant by that, but looking at it again, I just wanted to make sure what script it was you were referring to? I checked all my e-copy stuff on my laptop, since I'm away on pre-deployment training at the moment and don't have access to my hardcopy library, and I don't have any "script" type stuff on my laptop. If you could leave me a quick note about which script(s) you meant by "RD and RD", I'll add them to the sources list. Also, if you're able to check them for a mention or indirect mention of Misik, it would be appreciated. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 22:25, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Ah, the radio dramas. Yes, as you and I discovered a few weeks ago, I do have access to them, heh :P Thanks for taking a look at the actual scripts for anything that might be worthwhile including in the article. Greyman(Talk) 00:50, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Offering help

I just wanted to offer my help, by way of copy-editing, on any articles you have up for GA or FA status. If there are any articles you need to be given a once-(or twice, thrice, whatever)-over, to look for typos, or minor prose edits, let me know. I'd be happy to help out in that respect. And of course, in any image capacity I can too. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:49, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: AJ10

Sure thing. I am currently away from home (and thus my AJ's) until tomorrow evening, but I'll try and scan the relevant pages either tomorrow evening or sometime Sunday, and upload them to my site for you :) Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 02:04, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

RD info

Hey, thanks for checking the scripts and for that info for Misik's article. I added the quote, and the info to the BtS. Cheers, Greyman(Talk) 00:40, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Bah!

No worries at all. Also, sorry about not getting that AJ info for you this weekend; I never managed to make it back home from the hotel, but I do have plans to go home after the end of the day tomorrow. It's been busy around here getting ready for deployment, but I'll make sure to grab it and upload it for you within the coming days before I leave ;) Greyman(Talk) 00:08, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Hoth source

  • Hi, I just went on your Battle of Hoth project page and I think that it's great that you are trying to get it to FA. I noticed that there is a source missing from your list, as the battle makes a possible non-canon mention in the Endor chapter in The Illustrated Star Wars Universe (there is more info on this in the bts section of Pfilbee Jhorn's article) --Jinzler 18:38, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Ozzel FA nom

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I took care of your objection for the Ozzel FA nom. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 00:28, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Also, if you could get some of the other Inqs to review it, I'd really appeciate it. I'd like to get the article to FA status ASAP so I can focus on Osvald Teshik. Grand Moff Tranner 20px (Comlink) 23:42, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

FA Noms

Hey man! I've made a couple of FA noms including Groznik, Andoorni Hui and most notably, Gara Petothel. I always liked your critiques back in the day and wondered if you wouldn't mind giving them a glance at your convenience? Let me know! Hope all is well... --Colinmcev 23:07, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Removal

I'm sorry, i didn't realize that I was doing something wrong in being a bit overconfident that it would eventually become Featured, and yes I have not added much as of late but I have contributed a large amount to that article over time. Ryan Fett (For Mandalore!)20px 17:58, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

RC-1207 GAN

Hey, Don't let me hassle you, but I thought I'd just leave a note saying your objections against RC-1207 as GA have been fixed or replied to, thanks for your time, RC-1136 Copy 12:44, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Tiss'shar

I did see your comment, but was comfortable with your revision. A bulleted list seemed the best way to list the races without the "six known" qualifier at the beginning, and the longer infobox didn't adjust any picture placement (at least at my resolution). It's funny, the part that I *did* think about reversing was the alphabetization. Since the first-listed Sil-ar are the most common and the second-listed Kal-ar are also quite common, and since the last-listed were the albino Isk-ar (and since albinos are rare in nature), it seems probable to me that the listing from Ultimate Alien Anthology is in order of commonality; but ultimately, I realized that that was pure speculation on my part, and an alphabetized listing was the correct way to go. jSarek 00:07, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

  • I think, since the article itself still lists it in the original UAA order, leaving it alphabetized in the infobox is probably the better option. Thanks for being a sounding board on it, though. And also thanks for the compliment in your original comment; I missed it when answering the first time, and I appreciate the sentiment. :-) jSarek 13:09, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Looks fine to me. Thanks again for the help, Toprawa, it's appreciated as always. I've got some more FA and GA noms coming down the road shortly, looking forward to any feedback you might have... -- Colinmcev 18:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Galen Marek

Hey, T&R. Since I'm considered a new user, I can't edit protected pages, and I just wanted to add Galen's appearance in Soulcalibur IV to his list of appearances. So instead, I would bring it up on the talk page so others could add it for me; however, the talk page is protected from me as well. If you wouldn't mind, could you please add that minor little note? Thanks, man. // ~mikah~ 15:48, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

While I understand where you're coming from, it is still an appearance regardless. On the Yoda and Anakin articles, they also make note of their appearance in Soulcalibur IV, though in "Non-canon appearances" sections. Couldn't the same be done for Marek? // ~mikah~ 21:55, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Ok, thank you very much, i'll do that from now on. In fact, i'll start now; =] I've made several improvements to the article by adding additional info, adding quotes and sourcing the paragraphs that weren't.--Markrox91 09:55, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

More on K-3PO

Greetings, Mr. Toprawa and Ralltiir. I understand you are currently working on K-3PO's article, and that you have previously worked on Wampa. I thought you might be unfamiliar with the information on K-3PO available on his 2000 action figure from Hasbro. I consider it's either canon or BtS material. Please, let write you his "adventures" card:

  • Imperial troops have entered the base! Invading snowtroopers have breached the defenses and threaten to destroy Echo Base! Assist in the evacuation by evading capture and guiding the Rebels to safety. Watch out for collapsing tunnels!
  • Wampa attack: While on patrol late one night, K-3PO detects an wampa in the south corrider. K-3PO must escape to call for help!
  • For more cool stuff visit www.starwars.hasbro.com

If interested, you can find this and more information in the following link to which I am not affiliated in any way: [1] Thanks for your time and attention, --Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:56, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Mandalore the Ultimate

Hi, I was wondering what the problem was with my edits to Mandalore the Ultimate? The article as it stands after you reverted it is now incorrect. --Dizfactor 02:00, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

List of soundtacks

So, what was the reason for deleting the article? I was just about to expand it with the list of the video games soundtracks. It just hit me that none of SW game soundtracks except for Shadows of the Empire have their own articles. And yet many of them (Repuclic Commando, both KOTOR games, EaW and now TFU) are available as promotional scores with proper tracklist, not just some game files. Why not make articles about them? Mauser 14:09, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Feel free to go ahead and make individual articles for these soundtracks. I would encourage it. We do not, however, need a list for this. Toprawa and Ralltiir 14:41, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Imperial Spy

Actually, you won't have to worry: It's not in the story at all, just the meditation sphere is, and I think Vader had multiple. (BTW, hope you've been reading/have read the FU novel. :P) Thefourdotelipsis 09:57, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Ive got a duplicate image for you to delete if you want.... 250px The original is here: 250px

Question on FAs

Hey Toprawa, congrats on becoming an admin by the way, bit late I know :D. Anyway, I have a question, I'm planning to nom SWTCG for FA, I know there is probably a lot of things that I've overlooked and that'll need doing, but I'm happy to do that, one thing I'd like to know first through; do I need an infobox? I know it's not on the requirements but I wasn't sure. Thanks - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 18:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

  • Got another question :D. I'm now trying to source the images. One image that I didn't upload I know where it's from, which is an Abode Reader document linked to from the Wizards of the Coast SWTCG internet page, I was wondering if it would be okay to put this down as a screen shot from a copywrited website? Thanks again - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 14:58, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
    • Yeh, but I'm not sure if a good quality image is really needed for the purpose that this serves, and it's that bad quality in the original image, so unless I made one myself it wouldn't be better quality. Anyway, I changed the licensing, thanks for that. - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 16:21, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

SW Encyclopedia

Sorry, any information I've used from the SWE I've gotten from others. I can potentially get ahold of a copy to get a scan if you run into a last resort type of situation though. :P Cull Tremayne 04:12, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Spoiler template

Could you please upate the spoiler template at the top of Wookieepedia with Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel? Someone at TFN already got the book and I'm reposting some appearances from there. Mauser 17:27, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:Wampa info

  • I assumed that the info was for that period because it was on the SWG website and I thought that it would therefore be from roughly the same time that SWG is set. Also SWG are planning to introduce the Battle of Hoth to the game, so perhaps it could be a precursor to that. However, if you feel it necessary, we could move what I put and state that it happened "At some point" or something like that. I think you know these things better than I do --Jinzler 09:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Query

Someone puts offensive lanuage on my talkpage and I get a warning for removing it? I don't try to control the language people use on Wookieepedia as a whole, but my personal pages reprensent me, and I don't want offensive language on them. The comment in question could have been made using civil language.JustinGann 16:34, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Question

Hi, it's me again. I've been looking to the rules of the wiki, and I can't find where it's said that you can't edit other user's page (in my case, correct mistakes or improve quality regarding images). I'm not trying to provoke you, I just want to know all about it and really understand what can be done and what can't. (about the Muurgh edit was a mistake, and again I'm sorry, so disregard it). Thanks for your answer. Klow 09:51, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
