Bottleneck

As per the disambiguation policy, in-universe subjects take precedence for names before OOU ones. To that end, short story "Bottleneck" has been moved to Bottleneck (short story). All pages that link to the redirect "Bottleneck" need to have the links changed, and the disease itself then needs to be moved from [[Bottleneck (disease)]] to Bottleneck and its links fixed appropriately.   • I'm afraid that isn't possible via bot, or else I would've done it along with those category moves. I've looked for such code before, and again yesterday after you left this request, and there is nothing in the pywikibot manual or wiki to have anything to do with alphabetisation.   • I've done the clone ones. The bot cannot add the other two links because it cannot know if a page is canon or legends. It would have to scan through every single canon and legends article separately, which would be incredibly time consuming and I don't want to do that for such a small-scale fix. Star Wars Adventures 1 and 2

Star Wars Adventures 1 and Star Wars Adventures 2 are now serving as disambiguation pages. However, there are a lot of pages linking to these in the IDWAdventuresCite template when they should be linking to Star Wars Adventures (2017) 1 and Star Wars Adventures (2017) 2. I think it's a good idea to clean this up before the first and second issues of the new comic relaunch it by adding the "year" parameter to the relevant citation templates.   • Since the beginning of our Canon/Legends split, it has been our unofficial practice to divide categories for subjects if they had different names between Canon and Legends. Leia is a prime case. She had always been "Leia Organa" in Canon and "Leia Organa Solo" in Legends, so each category was meant to apply to a separate continuity. To my knowledge, Leia has never been called "Leia Skywalker Organa Solo" in Legends, so it would not be appropriate to just merge these two categories. Astronomical objects by affiliation

Hello. Since my recategorization script seems to be gone now :P I'm requesting that several categories of astronomical objects be renamed. All categories in a) Category:Planets by affiliation, b) Category:Moons by affiliation, and c) Category:Star systems by affiliation should be named per the format "[Faction name] planets/moons/star systems". This means that for most categories, a dash and a word must be removed: "Jedi-aligned planets" --> "Jedi planets", while some other categories may require complete renaming: "Star systems affiliated with Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire" --> "Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire star systems".     • Which magazines? The logo in all is DeAgostini, in some Planeta DeAgostini. I checked and everywhere it's DeAgostini except in some social media. Please note that some websites (the collectibles one) seem to confuse De Agostini S.p.A (the holding company) with DeAgostini Publishing. Hi, I have a request that would need a bit of scripting.... The objective is to have the {{SWGTCG}} template (from the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game) linking to card images, like it's already the case for other card games. It' is now possible since the SWG wiki contains all the pictures with formatted file names.

To do that, we have to add information for the unused |link= parameter of the {{SWGTCG}} template.

So each time we detect |cardname= in the {{SWGTCG}} template, you have to add |link=https://swg.fandom.com/wiki/File:One_card_(card).JPG

where One_card should be the value of |cardname=, whit respect of case and with blanks replaced by "_".

It will be easier with an example:

    • Sorry to do this, but I don't believe this should be done and instead the episode page should be moved back to "Imperial Supercommandos". This has been discussed before on the discord, and [[Talk:Imperial Super Commandos (episode)|talk page]], which was stated in the edit summary when the page was originally moved here. Topps cards

Multi-part request and I'm not sure if this is the best way to partially bot it, but I think this may achieve what DarthRuiz30 and I are hoping to achieve. My primary sandbox might shed light. We want all the Topps cards articles to have a standardized naming format used by Topps and various trading card sites instead of a free-for-all. The article titles will actually match the set names/"set=" parameter in the Topps template. (The template will need an added "subset=" parameter after "set=" to include card subsets.) Here goes...   1. For existing uses of Template:Topps, eliminate the parameter "sformat=" entirely. (I'll want to save and eventually review the bot's edit history to see which articles used that parameter, because some use it to include a subset name that needs to be manually addded, and I'll need to do that and quietly curse. If it's possible to export a list of what was changed, that would help me begin the cursing with less clicking.)
  2. After that, the bot can have fun again with the Topps nightmare I mean the Topps spreadsheet we compiled to move/rename articles. Column A has the current article names, Column B has what to rename them to. However, please don't modify links yet because...
  3. ...If it's possible to modify only those within the use of the Topps template (ex. starting with {{Topps|set= rather than including those between [[ ]]), I'd be able to review the Special:WhatLinksHere for articles that link to the now-redirect name and check for format, grammar oddities, links that aren't in the template but should be, etc. Why did we propose this again? Template adjustment

Basically we're switching over the 2020 usage of {{IDWAdventuresCite-2017}}, which has been deprecated in favor of {{IDWAdventuresCite-2020}}, which is more straightforward and uses the branding/logo art from the 2020 series.

There are still some remnant issues left from splitting the 2 IDW comic cite templates. I've tried to fix these manually, but there are far too many for that to reasonably happen.

Issue 1: Free Comic Book Day

The first case is with Free Comic Book Day issues.

Currently, this is how they're formatted, and it comes up with an error:

Issue 2: Annual 2020

Star Wars Adventures Annual 2020 is considered part of the 2020 Star Wars Adventures comic series and as such, should use its template. On some pages, it does, but many still are using the 2017 template incorrectly.

  • I've tried to do this but I think this need to be done by hand. The issue is the comma after the cookbook link. Sometimes, it needs to be kept in, like here (second instance on that page). "In his cookbook The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook" starts the sentence, so the comma needs to remain after "The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook." However, other pages, like this, have the phrase in the middle of the sentence, so both commas need to be removed. Problem with bot

Dear all, I found a problem caused by Cade's bot. It's about the "Fixing file extensions" that replaced "JPG" to "jpg". As shown in this example the capitalized JPG should absolutely be kept when it is part of an url in the SWGTCG template (for cards). SWGTCG

Hi, in order to use the new SWGTCG template developed by JediMasterMacaroni, I need the "link" parameter already present in all SWGTCG usages to be completely removed. Caution: only the link parameter should be deleted, not the "archivedate" or "nobackup".

For instance: 

{{SWGTCG|set=Squadrons Over Corellia|cardname=Task Force Bravo|nobackup=1}}

to 

{{SWGTCG|set=Squadrons Over Corellia|cardname=Task Force Bravo|nobackup=1}}

Once this is done, for every SWGTCG usages that contain "|cardname=", "|nobackup=1" should be added when there is no archiving information.

Hello friends. I noticed a repeated parameter was introduced in the {{TORcite}}. We already had the "|exp=ons" for the Onslaught expansion and it had been applied to hundreds of articles. Then for some reason someone created the "|exp=onslaught" right below the former's code line. I removed it and then noticed that it had already been used in a couple articles and it was breaking the refs.
