Squad Seven was a small group of specialists created by Advanced Recon Commando Alpha. It was often led by Clone Commanders Cody and Davijaan, although the squad was managed by Major Jorir.
Description
The squad contained cross-trained clone commanders, pilots, marines, SCUBA troopers, demolition specialists, and snipers.[1]
History
A small group of specialists, Squad Seven, was created by Advanced Recon Commando Alpha to accompany ranking Jedi on any type of mission,[1] including special commando operations. After undergoing ARC training program, Clone Commander Cody hand-picked a few of his fellow graduates to become the part of elite Squad Seven.[4] It was often led by Clone Commanders Cody and Davijaan, although the squad was managed by Major Jorir.[1]
The squad accompanied Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on several occasions.[1]
During the Battle of Cato Neimoidia, the men of Squad Seven assisted Jedi General Kenobi in his assault on Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray's redoubt. With their help, Kenobi procured Gunray's valuable mechno-chair, which contained a holographic message from Darth Sidious to the Trade Federation Viceroy.[5]
