Cathar was an astronomical object that was the homeworld of Scape Loewig, a Force-sensitive child whose name was included in aurebesh in a memory crystal recovered by Jedi Chief Librarian Jocasta Nu following the destruction of the Jedi Order[2] in 19 BBY.[3] Shortly after joining the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing from the Imperial Academy, the TIE pilot Yrica Quell participated in a patrol on the outskirts of Cathar with her new squadron.[4] Around 5 ABY,[5] she was reminded of the patrol while flying through a debris field in the Cerberon system.[4] Cathar shared its name with the Cathar species, which included Dhina, who served as an Ensign and comscan officer aboard the New Republic refitted Star Destroyer Deliverance[6] in 5 ABY.[7]
