Hey Cade! Can you revert the edit on the Darth Malak page? I was trying to fix the LEGO set he appeared in but it got reverted https://lego.com/en-us/product/r2-d2-75379 Elijah Palmer (talk) 20:02, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

Redirecting but not merging

Hey Cade, thanks for cleaning up article names recently and redirecting redundant or unconfirmed ones into the proper articles. I just want to ask if when you redirect, if you could add the information from that article into the one you're redirecting it to. For example, I just had to re-add all the info from Lioaoin cruiser into heavy cruiser, Lioaoin patrol craft to patrol ship, etc. and will be going through some of the new ship redirects to add that info into the parent pages. Thank you and happy holidays. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 05:48, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

Republic tugboat vs TUG-314

Hey Cade, wanted to get some clarification on your redirect of Republic space tug into TUG-314. You mentioned that the two ships are the same in the reasoning, however, they are actually completely distinct vehicles. The Republic space tug appears to be larger, and has a completely different bulkier hull design that features a different bridge than the TUG-314. This hull also has a large central ridge from the bridge to the engines that feature engine flaps, port and starboard docking tube clamps, and lacks the radar dish and antennas. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 06:16, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

  • I've attached a link here for the Republic space tug concept and here with TUG-314. Clearly, they are different vehicles. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 06:19, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

The Betrayal of Darth Revan

Could I ask about The Betrayal of Darth Revan adventure? I tried looking for it online and could not find it, I found the book on archive.com and it was not there, I've heard that's it supposed to be a Web Enhancement, but I've tried to looking at the back up Web Enhancement pages on this page but no dice.

Could you by of any help?

Thanks

Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 1, 2025, 9:29 (est)

  • It was an unlicensed adventure released outside of WOTC's purview, and thus is excluded from the media timeline, and that's also why it's not available online; it was only done at an in-person convention and never on the WOTC website. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 02:32, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

For the Short Story, Light and Shadow, that is available online even though it is unlicensed, so should it be included in the Media timeline?

Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 2, 2025, 11:16 (EST)

  • Unlicensed media is not included, full stop. The timeline is used to maintain overall ordering for all appearances sitewide, and unlicensed media is not listed in the main Appearances section. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 04:21, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

When I look at the Legends timeline, I'm just wondering why everything between Episode III and Episode IV is put under "Rise of the Empire era". Hasn't the Empire already risen or already taken over by then? There seems to be no need to rise anymore. I think putting that stuff under a title of "Age of the Empire era" or "Empire era" seems more appropriate. Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)

  • The headers are the official publishing eras used by Lucasfilm and Del Rey. The Rise of the Empire era does in fact extend all the way to ANH. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 23:07, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

What category do books such as The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force (real-life book) and The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural (real-life book) fall under? Promotional material? Adventure/scenario? Gamebook? or novel? Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)

  • Reference material. I spent a good month recently adding every viable appearance to the media timeline, and it is now maintained and tracked by an automated system, so anything that's not on there is not supposed to be on there. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 20:22, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
  • How come the The Betrayal of Darth Revan was re-added into the Media Timeline even though as said above, it's unlicensed and unavailable and shouldn't be included? Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 4, 2025, 17:59 (EST)

Life Day Treasury - Appearances

I noticed the short story collection Life Day Treasury is listed on User:C4-DE Bot/Canon Missing. All of the short stories are included on the Timeline. Is this just being captured by the bot because there is an Appearances section for that book? There probably should not be, as there are none for other short story collections. Thanks! Editorial issue with renaming the MC80 to MC80A

It has recently come to my attention that the MC80 page regarding the Home One Type has been renamed the MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser. I understand that this name has been used at least once in the past 40 years of sources. What I don't understand is why the change from one canonical name to another is necessary when it causes so many problems. This is a very old page and often linked to. We'll have to fix every single link to this page to accommodate the new name. It is a massive undertaking and will require time that frankly could be used better elsewhere. The second issue is readability. Wookieepedia is ultimately a library of information. It is paramount that when permitted by canonicity we do not make things more convoluted than necessary. In this regard I believe we have made a mistake. The name MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser was simple because it gave the intentioned impression that it was one of two types of MC80. Simply calling it a cruiser sidesteps the issue of inconsistent classifications. Originally this page referred to this type of vessel as a battleship and that would be canon too. To make matters more confusing for the reader the new name has been confused with the actual MC80a Star Cruiser This is a different and newer series of standardized warships. The letter 'A' distinguishes these cruisers from the Liberty Type and Home One Type and its successor which is distinguished by a 'B'. But including both the 'A' and Home One-Type will we only succeed at causing more confusion. I understand the sentiment to emulate the other continuity. But they are incompatible. As the behind-the-scene section of the canon article: "In the old Expanded Universe, the MC80a and MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser were two separate models. This was changed, however, in the canon book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded, which describes both designations belonging to the MC80" Since Legends is not beholden to Disney Canon I must recommend that we reverse the name change focus on keeping these continuities internally coherent rather than try to bridge the divide. I fully admit that I don't know the thought process behind your decision. But I hope that we can discuss this further. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 22:55 09/01/2025)

  • I don't really see the issue. Firstly, the article you linked to is the canon page, which has not been moved. Secondly, the name was used by an official Legends source, full stop. And in regards to your point about links, the vast majority have already been fixed. Per our naming policy, we use the most formal name, and that's the MC80A. End of story. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 22:05, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
    • This is not the end of the story. We must all be accountable for our work. Since you outrank me as an administrator I'll abide by your final decision. But I've read the Wookieepedia:Naming policy and it doesn't specify which name is more official. Both are used in the legends sources. One arguably more than the other. But I don't buy the argument that the protracted name takes precedence because of a personal preference. There is nothing that makes it more official than the other. If you have more insight to this issue please then I wish to learn. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 23:33 09/01/2025)

Special Operations Brigade

It is canon that the Special Operations Brigade is an intelligent organization in the Grand Army of the Republic and later the Galactic Empire. If you do not want to accept that this is the case, that is your choice, as the Administrator, you have the final say. Also AnilSerifoglu is no longer an Administrator starting on January 19th. GormCyborg (talk) 06:24, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

just because commandos were involved doesn't mean it's a Special Ops Brigade unit.

man, can you read? Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic states that all clone commandos were part of the Special Operations Brigade.

  • I am aware. That doesn't make every unit that a commando was involved with part of the Brigade. That's like saying every group that a Jedi ever worked with was a Jedi organization. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 14:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

just because commandos were involved doesn't mean it's a Special Ops Brigade unit.

Michael, it seems that you don't want me on Wookieepedia, by deleting important categories and stalking my edits and claiming to no better because you are an administrator? You don't need to be jealous because I'm trying to clean up the mess on Wookieepedia. Well, i might leave Wookieepedia. Also, you saying (Overcategorization, and overassumptions/fanon used to populate it) doesn't make you so inclusive by making nonsense up and reverting my edits. RE: Dreadnaught/Dreadnought

If we are going to put so much effort into distinguishing between the canon and the legends cruiser even though neither continuity is consistent about the spelling then we should at least clarify the situation for the casual reader. On a regular page I would just add a You-may-be—looking-for…? Tag to point people in the direction of its opposite counterpart. But this is a category which already has a description. Alternatively we could try to add a top bar with a Canon and Legends box. Either way we have got to do something because two letters is too narrow a margin of error for the Standards of Wookieepedia. The Wheel (Abrion system)

Could you please explain why you deleted the page I created. We have no confirmed location of the Abrion system in which Freemaker Wheel is located. The Legends/Canon Wheel may be at R-7 as sources confirm so, but no source confirms the Abrion system is one and the same as the Besh Gorgon system as far as I am aware, and given the Abrion sector/Abrion Major system is at S-15, there is a huge disparity as to where the Abrion system could possibly be located. Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 01:00, 18 March 2025 (UTC)

  • I discussed this with the other LEGO-focused editors in the community, and the Wheel in the Freemaker Adventures is very explicitly the one from Legends. The show placing it in the Abrion system has no effect whatsoever on its canon/Legends placement, and also doesn't make it a different entity; it's just a detail that was changed as part of the non-canon Freemaker continuity. The Abrion system is non-canon and has no place on the canon (or Legends) galaxy map. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 01:03, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
    • This all seems to be pure conjecture or personal head-canon on behalf of these small group of editors rather than presenting the facts as is. Don't get me wrong it'd be much neater if they were the same but they're not as far as sourcing is concerned. Could these LEGO-focused editors provide sources that the Wheel is explicitly the one from Legends and if this is the case why are we conflating it with the Canon Wheel? This appears to fly in the face of everything I've been told in recent weeks about policy and sourcing here. Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 01:13, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
      • And since we document other pages that are non-canon on their own pages, why can't the Wheel have it's own non-canon page? Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 01:17, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
        • By policy, we do not do that, actually. Non-canon versions of actual canon/Legends concepts must be covered in the Behind the Scenes sections of the canon/Legends article. That's why we cover Star Wars Infinities: Return of the Jedi in the BTS of Anakin Skywalker/Legends, not on a separate page for that version of the character. The /LEGO subpages are the only exceptions and they are edge cases for major characters in that continuity. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 01:21, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
          • Apologies, if that is the case. It was confusing as anything with all the Canon/Legends tab mis-redirecting to unrelated locations on opposite sides of the galaxy I was just trying to untangle it all thought the best way was to present the info on it's own page. Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 01:26, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
            • Also, just so that I understand completely and to avoid any future inconvenience to yourself or me, you mentioned characters but location pages with "/LEGO" as part of the page name are only to be created if the location originated in a LEGO source prior to being canonized, correct? Labyrinthine G0B-L1N (talk) 02:49, 18 March 2025 (UTC)

Binring Gamorrean

Hello Cade, just in regard to the deleting of the Binring Gamorrean page, I agree that the definition of them being a subspecies of Gamorrean was erroneous; however, even though Gorc and Voort saBinring are the only prominent named examples of the Binring Gamorreans, there were a substantial amount of other unnamed subjects according to how they were described in X-Wing: Wraith Squadron and X-Wing: Solo Command. With that in mind, would it be alright if either you or I transplant portions of the deleted Binring Gamorrean page and add it as a section of the Gamorrean/Legends page? This would be akin to how male boar Gamorreans are given a section within the page. Willpan20 (talk) 23:05, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

  • Absolutely, go ahead. It's not that the content isn't worth covering, it's just that it belongs in the parent Gamorrean article. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 13:40, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello,

I have noticed that my contributions are consistently being undone by Spookywilloww and Lewisr, regardless of their quality. The essence of a wiki is that collaborative efforts improve articles over time, rather than preserving an initial draft as the definitive version. Additionally, to prevent copyright issues, Star Wars texts should be paraphrased or rephrased rather than directly copied, as appears to be the case in the article in question. If there is an established preference to limit new contributions, I would appreciate clarity on whether Wookieepedia welcomes new editors.

Regarding the concern that my edit comments are perceived as rude, I would like to point out that my edits have often been reverted without any explanation. Providing a rationale when undoing someone’s contributions fosters a more constructive and welcoming environment. A lack of communication when reverting edits can inadvertently create an uninviting atmosphere. Once again, if new contributors are not encouraged to improve articles, I would appreciate a direct confirmation of that stance.

If the phrase "poorly written" is considered inappropriate, could you suggest a more acceptable way to convey concerns about writing quality?

Additionally, I respectfully disagree with the idea that a nomination should freeze an article. This reasoning was given for one of my edits being reverted, but my understanding is that the purpose of Rule 6 is not to prevent improvements. All it says is that if an article is still being improved, its consideration should be delayed. Is there a rush to consider a nomination or an important deadline that prevents improvements? If nominations truly warrant a freeze on edits, then articles should be locked immediately upon nomination.

Lastly, I believe it is important to ensure that edits are reverted only when there is a valid reason. I request that Spookywilloww and Lewisr be advised not to undo edits to their articles without justification. Transparency in revisions strengthens the collaborative nature of Wookieepedia.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to your clarification.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Hello there! I noticed the "Studio Backlot Tour" article was redirected, and for a fair reason, as it is similar to what was said to me by Bonzane10. I had thought there was enough content to warrant an article, but it appears I'm mistaken. Though if I may ask what you meant by "it's not unique to Star Wars and can just be covered on the park" via your edit summary leading to a redirect to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Does this mean that the content (albeit more shortened) is to be moved to the latter article, like in a section that covers all the lands and such? That is, presuming there isn't a set article layout as of yet? Forgive my confusion. -- J FanOn Stranger Tides 14:00, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

You cannot track me down forever, either

I think not, and never let you going to do that, but you're too late, Cade Calrayn. I already downloaded DuckDuckGo and the Norton Private Browser the anti-tracking apps. With these anti tracking apps you'll never recognize my edits and tracked me down, so you'll never ever trick me to block me indefinite every time. But there's nothing you can to do about it. So, don't even think about it to say is "Anti-tracking apps, hah! We'll see about that." especially, "You won't get away with this!" either. Since I waited for months for taking notes for the appearances on the comics for what have been missing and there's nothing you can do about it. Also, stop block me for 100+ to 1000+ places/alts while I'm editing to take care of my unfinished business to do. Especially for the update on the pages from "Star Wars: Timelines". You got that? Plus, just wait and see for more appearances of the Adaptation of the Marvel Comics of The Rise of Skywalker, literally.

One more thing, the time has come. Prepare to execute order 77 (Block Spookywilloww indefinite and make Lewisr a new administrator).12.247.191.82 19:39, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi, on my GA nom bombing on Naboo, I've noticed that C4-DE bot keeps changing the template(SWYoutube) for the first listed source to remove the link to the series, remove the starwars.com link, and include the warning in the YouTube title instead of just the title as listed on Starwars.com and Disney+. None of these changes really make sense to me, so I'm just wondering what the reason is or if there's some sort of database that needs to be updated or something? I'm not gonna pretend to know how the bot works. I believe this source (and the whole series) should be formatted like it is on the index page and on this page. Let me know. Thanks! • That would be controlled by the web subpages of the Masterlist, specifically Sources/Web/2025. Formatting and dates for the Source Engine are controlled by the site-side Masterlist pages and are free for anyone to fix if they see something wrong. Jabba's Palace Pop-up Book

Hi Cade. I noticed that a few days ago you removed information sourced to Jabba's Palace Pop-up Book from a few pages relating to Jubnuk surviving his encounter with the rancor. I was wondering what your intent was here, since as far as I can tell the source does supply this information. Jubnuk's page mentions that Leland Chee called the logic of his survival into question, but that statement is unsourced. I'd like to work the Pop-up Book's story back into the text if we're able to. Thanks. RattsT (talk) 19:55, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

Why did you add back the Galactic Empire affiliation type on the Dedra Meero page?Elijah Palmer (talk) 03:14, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

Classes in Timeline of Legends Media

Hi! I just noticed that even though Young Readers and Children's Books both have categories in Timeline of Legends media, but only one class "young" is being used. This means that filtering does not work properly and both are assigned the same color. Not sure if this is by design. I know you had said these classes are sitewide. Rebelcrimsonbear (talk) 16:18, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

I don't understand why most of my categorizations are being reversed (many hours of work for nothing)

I am creating an encyclopedia of sentient species, and I have come across many cases where there is no written evidence of such classification. This is the case for many mammals, amphibians, aquatic, and airborne creatures. Furthermore, in the Wookieepedia pages “Elephantine” and “Pachydermoid,” ALL the species I categorized are mentioned; I did not make anything up, I simply created a category for the species cited in those articles.

Regarding mollusks, I am literally baffled: if a species is sentient, what sense does it make to put it in the “Mollusc” category instead of “Mollusc sentient species”? I really don’t understand. What I could somewhat understand is the case of gastropods or cephalopods, where it is indeed my speculation. I can accept that one doesn’t categorize them purely by appearance, but it’s contradictory because, as I said, a third or a quarter of the species have no written evidence of classification, and yet they are categorized based on looks. I simply followed the same example and categorized things that were obvious; I never intended to spread misinformation. I just wanted to classify them anatomically—for instance, if a species is an octopus, it is obviously a cephalopod; one doesn’t need to be very smart to reach that conclusion.

And cases like Aqualish, where it is said they have traits resembling both arachnoids and mammals, that does not mean they are mammals. It seems you haven’t even looked at what change I made or why.

I hope you can answer all my doubts, and I will gladly adjust my behavior if everything is explained clearly and without the inconsistencies currently present. Thank you very much in advance!

PS:I'm sorry, but now I'm really angry. I just saw that you've reverted absolutely ALL of my work these past few days. It's incredibly frustrating that even work that was undoubtedly well done has been reverted. Why can't the Bith be listed as "Craniopod sentient specie" when it's officially and literally stated? I mean, you're contradicting yourself. Now I'm really frustrated. I really don't understand your behavior. I thought it was logical and that I was wrong, but the fact that you've literally reverted EVERYTHING makes no sense.

PS:It's just incredible, even Bonzane10 is redoing my elephant species categorization. And he's an admin like you. Seriously, why are you reverting EVERYTHING that I did?

  • Cade did not revert all of your edits, Enoch, so it isn't fair for you to shout at him. Per Wookieepedia:Attribution, the burden of evidence lies with the editor wishing to add or retain the material, so the original sources need to be consulted, rather than just relying on the text of existing articles as they may not be reliable. While it may be true that a species with certain traits can be described anatomically with a specific term, Wookieepedia's purpose is to document official information from official sources, so we should be cautious of any extrapolation, even if it may seem to make sense in the real world. OOM 224 10:02, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

I think that's fine if that's the case, but I don't think it's right that he even reverted the information I've listed. I created the Elephantine category and it completely erased EVERYTHING I classified there, and now, surprise, they've recreated that category and categorized all the species I categorized. That's a clear example of where Cade made a mistake, since I wasn't guided by appearances; literally, in the species I classified, there were clear references in the articles that they were indeed elephantine. That's all it is. I understand that as administrators you should correct things, and that's perfectly fine, but Cade's helplessness, having practically reverted all my edits this week, is unforgivable. He simply saw that I'd done some things wrong, and by the rule of thumb, he reverted everything that was correct. That's it. I'm not asking for more. I'm simply asking for consistency with what is done. You can't revert work well done just because the user has done other things incorrectly. Thank you.

PS: I never meant to shout at Cade. I'm sorry if that's what my previous comment came across. I only got angry when I saw another admin get my job back and I was muted for it. I think my anger is justifiable.

R5-D4

Why did you remove Hangar 3-5 and Clan Mudhorn from R5-D4's affiliations? BD-72 has Hangar 3-5 as an affiliation. Elijah Palmer (talk) 01:44, 29 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi

Hi, I've been a long time reader of the wiki and I'm a big fan of SWTOR, which I'm recently getting back into. I've noticed that you've got a lot of the more minor characters (one quest NPCs, that type of thing) missing from this wiki, so I was thinking of adding them. I've read through the layout guide and manual of style, and I have experience editing on other (admittedly much smaller) wikis. I'm planning on creating a sandbox article under my userpage for "Asharl-kin" Basterosa, who is encountered in Kessan's Landing: [Daily] Chain of Command, which can then be doubled checked to make sure I've done everything correctly before being moved to the mainspace. Would this be something you can do? AD Vortigern (talk to me) 15:42, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Hi again, just following up from this, I've created the sandbox page for you to look at here. AD Vortigern (talk to me) 15:59, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Manka cat image

Did you take the screenshot of the manka cat for the Legends article? If so, the Updated version of the Galactic Atlas traced over your image for their image of it. Just thought you'd find that amusing. -MontztheMan02 (talk) 22:46, 9 November 2025 (UTC)

Something wrong with Module:PrevNext (again)

Hi. Something wrong with Module:PrevNext again - this time it's Star Wars Adventures (2020) 6 (and other Adventures issues - not sure about the other comics). On the page it displays the next or prev text as "AdventuresAdventures (2020) 7" or "AdventuresAdventures (2020) 5" --Orgus Ordo (talk) 09:14, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
