Freerock
Hello, thanks again for the Grogu'tok. User:Lewisr informed me that I should contact you to clarify this (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Freerock?type=revision&diff=12787849&oldid=12787708) and run it by you before reverting or let you edit it yourself. Freerock is located in Wild Space based on holistic analysis that I've been conducting as I edit and update Star Wars Galaxy Map. All other locations on the map colored white within the colored regions have previously been established as Wild Space locations by either Star Wars Legends or by their respective canon sources. Freerock therefore falls in a location designated as Wild Space within the Expansion Region. You can see all other locations placed within the various regions on the map are colored to match the specific color used by that region. White locations in the Unknown Regions however are going to have to be manually checked one by one against their sources to see if they are classified as bothe Wild Space AND Unknown Regions. LadyNeret (talk) 01:53, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
- Greetings, I am fine with it being considered Wild Space. Was wondering, though, is it standard practice to format it as Wild Space (Expansion Region) with the brackets stuff? Feels more like an extra bullet point thing. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 19:27, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
- The precedent seems to have been developed/implemented by Jason Fry & Dan Wallace as a space saving feature when tabulating astrographical data as per The Essential Atlas Online Companion appendix (which Jason Fry appears to be currently expanding/researching to cover Disney canon) but it probably falls under Jason Fry's "more art than science" quotes from the atlas endnotes. I started using it when making edits to the Star Wars Galaxy Map page as it just looks neater.
- Double checking the Atlas & TEAOC I've checked how Jason Fry notes situations such as these. This originated with Sectors/Subsectors. The "thing" within an area is listed consistently in works by him and Dan Wallace as following the example: Larger Area (Smaller Area).
- If we as a community consider Wild Space collectively to be larger than the Expansion Region, then it should be: "Wild Space (Expansion Region)".
- If we consider the Expansion Region to be larger than Wild Space collectively then it should be: "Expansion Region (Wild Space)".
- Other quirks:
- Objects that reside in multiple SECTORS are listed as "(multiple)".
- Objects that cross multiple grid squares are listed as "A1 and A2" for example.
- Objects listed outside the known galaxy have their REGION listed as "[extragalactic]"
- Technically Freerock is probably firmly in Wild Space SURROUNDED BY the Expansion Region (like an inaccessible island) rather than being a Wild Space location WITHIN the EXPANSION REGION, but again it's semantics as an island can be considered either surrounded by/within an ocean, or both.
- Given that The Atlas & TEAOC appendix have set the precedent of listing objects BY ONLY ONE REGION, "Wild Space" should probably be listed first if multiple bullet points are desirable. Personally I'm more inclined to listing just one region (Wild Space) or parenthesis being used to intrinsically demonstrate the link between Wild Space and the Expansion Region, rather than appearing to be two separate/unrelated locations. But this could be adequately clarified in the BTS or even the opening sentence of the article pages.
- I hope this helps in making a decision how to proceed. Have a great day! :) LadyNeret (talk) 00:43, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
- Good evening! Apologies for the delayed reply, I've been without internet for the last few days. But to respond to this, I disagree that we should take the approach of what feels to me like treating something as a lesser region with parentheses. The main reasoning for this lies with how we deal with regions like, in Freerock's case specifically, the Interior. We know that Freerock lies in both the Expansion Region and the Interior but it makes little sense to prioritise just one of them. That applies the same to the Wild Space case imo. We're seeing this region covered for Freerock but obviously it's already places in two significant regions, so why just label one region as the main one? This is why I think the bullet points method is the best way to approach this. I hope that helps, have a great day as well! Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 20:41, 21 August 2023 (UTC)

Hey BE. I saw that you were able to get a clean image of Pijal from the Galaxy Map and was wondering if you'd be able to get one for Daro as well? Please and thank you. Erebus Chronus (Talk) 01:37, 20 August 2023 (UTC)

Lutrillian Resistance
Hi Braha'tok enthusiast! I just wanted to ask where you might have seen the Lutrillian in Star Wars Resistance Episode 1 as I can't seem to find one anywhere and you were the one who added it to the Lutrillian species page. Crowbuster (talk) 03:01, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- Greetings! I don't actually recall a Lutrillian in the show but I can tell you that the info was added to the respective pages by Corellian Premier and DarthRuiz here and here respectively. I was working on the page at the time and must have just ran with it. An assumptive move on my part. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 13:52, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

Krypder Riders Species
Hello Braha'tok! Recently in the audiobook Padawan's Pride, the name to the species on Dallenor was confirmed to be Fosh. While redirecting the species page name to Fosh/Canon, I chose not to edit the page Krypder Riders as I saw you nominated it to a good article status. I just wanted to remind you that the page would need a small update because of the audiobook. Chipchip88 (talk) 19:23, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

Belderone update
Hello, just an fyi there was a brief mention of Belderone in Star Wars Outlaws. It is during an announcement you can over hear on Kijimi. The full quote is included on the TS428 article. I updated Belderone with that info but since you nomicated it, I wanted to let you know. Feel free to rephrase my addition. - ThePedantry (talk) 01:54, 12 March 2025 (UTC)

Braha'tok-class gunship
Hi Braha'tok enthusiast. This has nothing to do with an edit you've made, but I'm just curious as to why you love the Braha'tok-class gunship so much. I want to emphasise this is not an attack on your personal preferences, but more a debate over the role the ship plays in the Rebel fleet. I'm something of an enthusiast for the ships of the Rebel Alliance Navy (as evidenced by my multiple edits of the Wookieepedia page xD), and I always got the impression that the Braha'tok, while an interesting design for a ship, was nothing really special. To me it was just a regular support ship, similar to the CR90 Corvette. Clearly you see something in it that I don't, and I'd like to know what in your opinion makes it different or better than other Rebel ships. - JPLPlays4126 (talk)
- Good evening JPL! I appreciate your curiosity. I have a special love for Alliance starships like you do (and various others will too), they have such a ragtag feel to them, all generally with pretty unique features. I think you've misinterpreted the angle I come from when I love the Braha'tok so much. I latched onto this because of how niche it is. I was always initially fascinated by the CR90 (right from when I first watched ANH as a kid), but it was noticing this one in random shots that made me more and more interested. Then through researching it I discovered the wonders of Wookieepedia articles through it, and thus I am here. Whether it's better than other ships practically will never matter to me. I hope I've conveyed that well. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 18:27, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Braha'tok enthusiast. That's very interesting. I can see the appeal of it as a niche vessel and it certainly fits well with the ragtag look of the Rebel Fleet. I suppose you must have felt vindicated when it reappeared in Rogue One and Rebels. I'm guessing based on what you've said that you're a fan of niche starships and there's quite a few from Return of the Jedi, some of which don't even have proper names or Wookieepedia pages. My favourite of these obscure ships is what many call the Mon Calamari Corvette (though it doesn't actually have a Canon name yet), which was in the background shot of the Millennium Falcon flying past Home One, which coincidentally is the same shot the Braha'tok was first seen in. As for the practicality, I can understand loving it regardless and to be honest practicality can be a bit overrated. Heck, one of my favourite ships, the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate, is one of the least practical ships in all of Star Wars, but I love it simply for it's skeletal and rugged design. However, I'd like to ask one question: if you could add an existing ship to the Rebel Fleet, what would it be? - JPLPlays4126 (talk) 09:06, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hey JPL. I feel like I've definitely seen some stuff on those background ships before. EC Henry does some good videos on a bunch of them. I think the Braha'tok was the one for me purely because I found out it did have a story, it just wasn't one that most material was bothering to tell. I was actually pretty late to the game with the Rogue One and Rebels appearances, maybe I would've had different feelings if I wasn't, who knows. To answer your question, probably the C-ROC Gozanti-class light cruiser, that's got some good rebel vibes. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 22:07, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Braha'tok enthusiast. Sorry for the late reply. Funny you mentioned EC Henry, as it was his videos where I learned about these unknown ships. I'm pretty sure Vizago used a C-ROC Gozanti and I swear he was involved with the Rebel Alliance at least towards the end of Rebels, so I don't think it's a reach that they would've been used by the Alliance. I guess we'll have to wait on Disney to confirm it. You probably won't agree with me on this, but two ships I'd love to see the Rebels use is either an Acclamator or a Venator, only because the Alliance used very few Republic capital ships and I think both would be a really good fit for the alliance. I also wouldn't say no to an Arquitens-class light cruiser. However, you might say their more like Imperial ships, so they wouldn't fit well with the Rebel aesthetic. - JPLPlays4126 (talk) 16:09, 31 May 2025 (UTC)
- Good morning JPL, sorry likewise for the late reply. I can see the technicality with the C-ROC being Alliance affiliated, at least just that one at least. I guess I was thinking more there would be a few of that type knocking around. Ships like the venator, acclamator, and arquitens I feel are too close to the ISD aesthetic for me to ever want to associate them with the Rebellion. The New Republic used the Deliverance, but they're not quite in the same position as the Rebellion in my opinion. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 10:32, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Braha’tok Enthusiast. That’s understandable. I know Republic capital ships are more Imperial in their design and don’t really fit the Rebel aesthetic. The reasons I would want them is they offer practical advantages that other ships don’t. A couple of Venators would eliminate the need for a stationary base because of their massive carrying capacity. Then again, we have the Mon Calamari cruisers for that part. I suppose, therefore, you’re more inclined to see some former Separatist ships in the Rebel fleet. I do like the addition of Separatist ships; I even made an article about a Rebel Recusant-class Light Destroyer. The Providence is arguably one of the best battleships in Star Wars, the Recusant is a criminally underrated destroyer and the Lucrehulk is essentially a flying fortress. All three are perfect for the Rebellion and they don’t deviate too far from the Rebel aesthetic. - JPLPlays4126 (talk) 23:30, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
