"Devon Lhent": "Tyros not joining us?"
Klevin: "Got a lad he fancies, next town over. Catches the shuttle once a week."
Nanchia: "Boy's going to miss check-in one of these mornings. I'm not going to cover for him."
Klevin: "Only way he'll learn."
―"Devon Lhent," Klevin, and Nanchia discuss Tyros's weekly visits[1]

In 4 ABY,[2] Tyros, a male dig-rig crewmember on the Outer Rim planet Vernid had a crush on a boy the next town over from him. The worker took a shuttle to his crush's town weekly. On one of the nights Tyros visited the boy, his dig-rig crew were at their local cantina. After the crewmember known as "Devon Lhent" asked of Tyros's whereabouts, the crewmate Klevin filled him in on the worker's weekly visits to see the boy he liked, with the rigswoman Nanchia predicting that he would miss check-in eventually because of it.[1]

Behind the scenes

The boy was mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, written by Alexander Freed as the first installment of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy.[1]
