- "The factories of Kuat have been bombed into submission, and the shipyards of Xa Fel, Anadeen, and Turco Prime are all either contested or already lost. But the Outer Rim will be our savior—and it will be the strangling cord we tie around the neck of the New Republic. We already have three worlds under our sway there: Zhadalene, Korrus, and Belladoon."
- ―Gallius Rax, to the Shadow Council
Belladoon was a world[5] located in the Myto sector's Belladoon system within the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories regions.[2] Situated within grid square K-3 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[3] it lay along the Veragi Trade Route hyperlane[4] between the astronomical objects Dantooine and Dubrillion.[3] Belladoon contributed to the Galactic Empire's military[5] by 5 ABY,[6] during the Galactic Civil War between the Empire and the New Republic. In a meeting with his new Imperial Shadow Council[5] that year,[6] Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax spoke about the Empire using its Outer Rim holdings to its advantage, listing Belladoon, Korrus, and Zhadalene as worlds there that were already under Imperial sway.[5]
Behind the scenes
Belladoon was first mentioned in the 2016 novel Aftermath: Life Debt, the second volume in Chuck Wendig's Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[5]
