- "I've never seen them fight that way before."
"We never came at them in a Star Destroyer before." - ―Wyl Lark and Hera Syndulla, on Shadow Wing
The Deliverance was a Star Destroyer utilized by the New Republic under Twi'lek General Hera Syndulla, and served as the flagship of the Republic navy's Barma Battle Group commanded by Syndulla. The Deliverance was present during the hunt for the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing[1] in 5 ABY,[2] alongside Flare, Hail, and Wild Squadrons. Despite the Deliverance and New Republic squadrons pursuing the Imperial forces, the 204th's bulk freighter Yadeez and its escorts managed to escape into hyperspace multiple times. The Deliverance was also present at the Attack on Chadawa.[1]
Later in that same year,[2] the Deliverance participated in the Battle of Jakku,[1] which marked the end the Galactic Civil War with the subsequent signing of the Galactic Concordance.[3] However, the Star Destroyer was destroyed amid the fighting, but not before its crew managed to escape the vessel aboard escape pods.[1]
