The Baskron system was located in the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] Situated within the Trax sector in grid square Q-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it was the origin point of[4] the Baskron Pirates.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Baskron system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix released alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map.[1] Both works were written by Jason Fry and published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[5]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Baskron Pirates in relation to Baskron system.
