An icy asteroid[3] was located within an asteroid field.[1] It had a Type I atmosphere[2] breathable to multiple species, although its surface was flat and barren[1] with features of icy rocks.[3] In 34 ABY,[4] the pirate Kragan Gorr, leader of the Warbird gang, arranged to meet with the weapons dealer Sidon Ithano on the asteroid to buy a battalion of vintage B2-series super battle droids. The two arrived in their respective starships, with Gorr accompanied by the pirates Valik and Drell. Gorr praised Ithano and sealed their trade deal, unsuccessfully attempting to haggle the arms dealer in the process. The two parties then parted ways, with Gorr's gang subsequently attempting an unsuccessful takeover of the mobile space station Colossus with the newly purchased battle droids.[1]

The icy asteroid appeared in "The Mutiny," the fourteenth episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance.[1] Prior to the episode's release on January 5, 2020,[5] the asteroid was first included in the official trailer for the season, released via the official Star Wars YouTube channel on August 14, 2019.[6] At least three concept designs for the asteroid and its rock features were completed by Lucasfilm Animation artist Aaron Pham on August 1, 2018.[3][7][8] Pham aimed to convey a surface of land with monotonous material. Rocks on the asteroid's surface were reused assets from the third episode of the second season,[7] "Live Fire,"[9] that were distinguished by changing their base layer, and flat sections were made to look more reflective.[7]
