A quote

Good suggestion on the Jolee quote, but it was already done back on 8/26/06. In fact, it was the very first Jolee Bindo quote to appear on the front page. You can search the Archive for others. You can nominate the quotes yourself if you learn the formats (it's easy to figure out, just look at the coding), but keep in mind you need to meet a requisite of 50 article edits before qualifying to vote for others'. To be clearer, until you meet the requirements, you can vote for quotes you nominate yourself (that's fair, you did the work), but not anybody else's. That system helps to cut down on fraud and mischief. Enochf 03:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: Droideka

Hey, I've went ahead and fixed the reference for you :) You can check out what I did by looking at the edit in the history, as seen here. Cheers, Greyman@wikiajanitor(Talk) 02:55, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Re:User talk:Toprawa and Ralltiir

Hey, take it easy on Toprawa and Ralltiir. He's a busy man, with his attention spread out over both the GAN and FAN pages. He doesn't work for you—this is a voluntary hobby for all of us. At any rate, anything placed on the GAN page will be reviewed by users eventually. No need to rush or strong-arm anyone. Graestan(Talk) 17:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Welcome to the project. This notice was passed out earlier to existing project members, so I might as well post it now.

  • P.S. If you don't mind userboxes, here is one I made for Project Ambition. You may not like it too much, but it's simply another way I'm trying to advertise for and encourage people to join Project Ambition. Anyway if you want to help, or if you just want a unique userbox here it is the source: {{User:Mith'raw'nuruodo/User Ambition}}.--Mitth'raw'nuruodo(Imperial HoloNet)20px 21:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Re: New article changes

Ugh, no, I hate ads that bisect an article or forum discussion. They're just ugly, unnecessary, distracting, and the biggest deterrant. I used to administrate a forum that started putting ads within the forum content, and within seeing just one ad, activity on the forum dropped drastically. No one wanted to post or read. And the ads kept crashing my browser, so I couldn't perform my modly duties, either. I took to donating a measely amount of money from my already-puny budget just to get rid of the ads! Eventually, everyone got pissed off at the head admin (who put in the ads and other annoying changes) and the forum died. If Wikia decides to do the same to the article content, then the same or a very similar fate will befall them in which the whole community will just go belly-up. No one likes ads. And ads don't even add that much revenue to begin with. Most ads generate a nickel per click, and if no one clicks, there isn't any revenue. If they wanna make some cash, they should have a "Donate" option and offer perks to paid user accounts/donators. If perks are offered, people will donate. Hell, people will donate if the only perk is no ads! Donations will create more revenue for the site than ads will, too. The Honour System works well on the internet; if the option to donate is readily available, people will donate.

...I should copy/paste that into the "New Style" discussion. Anywho, yeah, I absolutly dispise the "new style" they're cooking up. It's gonna prove to be a really big mistake in the end. Trak Nar Ramble on 05:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Re: Wormhead

  • What do you mean by sourcing? As in, listing the different sources/appearances, or do you mean adding <ref> tags? Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 22:35, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
    • Hey Obimaul, I talked it over with a couple other participants and we think that while you've got potential as a writer, we'd like to see you have a little more experience at writing GAs or FAs before you're quite ready for Wormhead, just to make sure you've got the hang of things. That said, if you're still interested down the road after you've had a chance to polish your skills, drop me a line. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 13:33, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

False referencing

Please do not reference articles with incorrect sources. Not referenced at all is better than pretend, let's-try-and-wing-it referenced. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 17:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Right now the only help the project needs is with Daala. We won't move to different articles for awhile. However, if you are conducting long-term work on an Empire-related article, add it to the Works in Progress section.--Mitth'raw'nuruodo(Imperial HoloNet)20px 15:22, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

For those who wish to continue on the WP:KOTOR WookieeProject, there will be an informational and organizational meeting via IRC on this channel on Saturday, 19 July 2008 at 0:00 UTC (that's 8p.m. Eastern Time in North America). If you do not have ChatZilla or another chat program capable of accessing the channel, it is recommended that you get one ([1] is one option). If you are unable to attend the meeting for whatever reason, please leave a response on my talk page. Anyone who does not attend and does not leave their regrets will be dismissed from the project—this is for the health of the project, with nothing personal intended. Thank you and have a nice day.--Goodwood 20px (Alliance Intelligence) 23:07, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

SWF article

  • Obimaul12, I appreciate your effort to update the Star Wars Fanon Wiki article, but please bear in mind that the article was painstakingly written to include thorough referencing. When you add content without sourcing it, that makes people like me have to go back and find the source, so please, when you add things, reference it correctly. If you have questions about referencing, ask me or look up our page on it. Thanks. Atarumaster88 20px (Talk page) 01:18, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Re:

I'll look at it again when I get a chance later today, but from what I recall my objection was very clear. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 11:53, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:Q-series droideka

I'm not really sure if I can expand on what I've already said. The content on the article that covers information not explicitly referring to a Q-series should be removed, unless there's a source to say the Q-series had everything its predecessor had, and any information in the history section on droids that aren't explicitly identified as being Q-series should also be removed, unless there's a good reason not to do so. I've already made my objections pretty clear on the links Toprawa gave you. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 19:23, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
