Dear Darth Culator, I want to ask you to change the VornDaasrad-KOTOR.jpg to VornDaasraad-KOTOR.jpg. For years was the last name of the character written here as Daasrad instead of Daasraad. Wobani page edit

Hi Darth Culator,

I tried to edit the Wobani page to add a behind the scenes heading and add that the planet name is likely an anagram of Obi-wan but was given an error that my edit was stopped by an extension hook. Is there anything you can suggest to fix this.

Star Wars: Obsession

Hello. Could we move Star Wars: Obsession in Timeline of Legends media from the end of the clone wars to between Star Wars: Republic: Dreadnaughts of Rendili and The Brink story from Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 4. Because Padme ses Anakin's scar for the first time. I now Count Dooku betrayder Asajj Ventress, but we could say, Dooku not betrayed her.

Canon label at top of page

Hi!

I'm not an editor here, but I have an inquiry about a feature you have which I would be interested in implementing on one of the wikis I am an admin on. At the top of your articles, it appears there are labels such as "canon" and icons labelling that article as featured, good, etc. and I was wondering how you got images to fill that space at the top which is in line with the edit button. On the wiki I edit on (Casualty Wiki), it seems that I can only get images to go as high as the regular article space and they are simply cut off when they go any higher. If you could help me/tell me how to implement those symbols in that place, I would be very grateful!

Silentium in Kyle K. audio drama

As of July 2, 2006, you expanded the article on Silentium adding a lot of information and sources. I notice that the sources include Dark Forces: Soldier for the Empire radio drama, meaning the 1997 audio drama, I assume. In any case, I fail to find any mention to the Silentium in that source - I've just checked, but the closest I've heard is a character asking for silence.   • As a general rule, my vectorizations are either dead simple geometric shapes or converted from existing vector formats in official releases. For something like what you're asking, you'd be better off looking for someone more artistic. I can't add this into Wilhuff Tarkin's Behind the scenes section: During the early development of Revenge of the Sith, George Lucas wanted to use stock footage with CGI to 'resurrect' Cushing for one of the final scenes of the film. Concept artist Iain McCaig suggested using unused footage from A New Hope and digitally animating Cushing's lips to match his new planned dialogue, (ref)The Making of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith(/ref) and also created the only concept art image for the character, which Lucas himself approved.(ref)The Art of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith(/ref) Animation director Rob Coleman even spoke with Christopher Lee, Dooku's portrayer and a close friend of Cushing, about the possibility of using a digital model of Cushing. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story scrapped Marvel Comics prequel three-issue miniseries

Hi Darth Culator. A question, I find this links that reveal a Marvel Comics three-issues comic book prequel series to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, I'm in question if it deserves an own article, as, although it said that it was to be a three-part series, the cover is identical to the Marvel's comic book series that started with Rogue One, Part I in 2017, a six-issue series. It was the same project that was scrapped and later brought from the "death" of development hell or just another separate project with the same cover that I saw ulikely? DarthRuiz30 had mentioned me that it's a different project was it had a page which was deleted, I could restart that page? (I didn't made that page originally)

  • The original page at Rogue One prequel comic series was deleted per the notability policy for future and canceled products. None of those links to show the existence of a separate Rogue One comic series is an official Lucasfilm or Marvel source, it's debatable whether any of them could be considered "mainstream," and none of them provides an actual definitive title for the series, so the notability requirements for an article on the canceled prequel are definitely not met. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 17:42, December 24, 2017 (UTC)

Deleted user images

Hello. You recently deleted two images from this wiki: "File:The Emperor.jpg" and "File:Maul.jpg" (textless versions of "Star Wars" steel book covers). You cited them as "unused user images." However, they WERE being used on my user page. They may sometimes drift into the "unused images" category when not appearing on my page, but they are in rotation via coding. Can you please restore the deleted files? They were marked with the "Not orphan" template.   • {{Notorphan}} is for files that serve a useful purpose on the wiki. I would direct you to WP:NOT #4.1: "Your user page is not your primary contribution to this wiki" for some insight into what a "useful purpose" for a file would be. Further, I would direct you to WP:UIP #10: "Users must meet the requirements of Wookieepedia:Voting eligibility policy to earn and maintain user image privileges," which leads to WP:VOTE #2.1: "Users must have contributed at least 50 valid Main namespace edits within the previous 6 months." So if I was feeling a bit more merciless and less lazy, I would also delete any other user images of yours. That being said, once you DO meet the terms of WP:VOTE, then I'll be glad to restore those files if you'll edit your userpage to actually USE them, so they don't show up on the Special:UnusedFiles maintenance page. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 23:47, January 2, 2018 (UTC)

Wow, I completely missed your post to my talk page. One of the things I liked better about the monobook skin is the can't-miss-it bar across the top of the screen when someone posts something to my talk page. Hey Culator. I'm requesting you to remove protection on pages 25,095 BBY and 105 BBY. It seems they were protected from creation at some point in the past, but I need them created now. 105 BBY is referred to in The Hutt Gambit as birth year of Durga Besadii Tai. 25,095 BBY I still need to double-check in the Atlas but it's likely factual as it passed within a featured article. 4K screenshot question

May I ask what program you use to get screenshots from 4K videos? I use VLC, and while it can play the 4K files and it looks fine, it mutes the colors when I take screenshots. Something about it not being able to process the encoded color profile in a 4K file, or something like that. Thanks. - JMAS 20px Hey, it's me! 16:27, May 10, 2020 (UTC)

  • HDR video files store their color data differently from regular video. Your 'muted' screenshots are only getting part of the color information. In order to get a full-color screenshot, the video has to be downmixed from High Dynamic Range to Standard Dynamic Range. As far as I know, no video player can combine the HDR data in real time and take a screenshot of the muxed output without setting up a combination of filters. There's an easier way to do it, but I won't explain it here because it's getting into a gray area. Hey there. As you are an Administrator listed on the TOR WookieeProject members list, I figured I'd address this matter to you. I am presently involved in an ongoing discussion with another user concerning tagging the article Post–Great Hyperspace War counterinvasion with the category genocides and massacres. I've maintained the event is not a genocide as various sourcebooks indicate that the eradication of the Sith species was not the intended end of the Republic counterinvasion. However, Norraya1631 has made some fair points as to why the category might be applicable to the subject matter at hand. If you could adjudicate one way or another, I'd appreciate it. Cheers!
