Please check Wookieepedia:Comprehensive article nominations/Unidentified Jedi Knight (Zayne Carrick) when you get a chance. You have an unstruck objection from February that is currently the only obstacle to archiving the nom as successful. Thanks. —MJ— Holocomm 21:50, April 27, 2015 (UTC)
sorry for the misunderstanding
Sorry I wasnt clear, the part I didnt understand was a section of the book about Sabines love of music. what I added to the article had nothing to do with that, what I added was a section about Sabines language skills from the book, which I understood perfectly fine. A previous editor had tried to include information on Sabines love of music, and her language abilities, but he forgot to put the reference down so it was removed. I found the book in my collection where this information was from and I found the sections containing this information... I included the language information (which I understood), but I could not adequately summarize her enthusiasm for music... sorry I did not explain myself well. ralok (talk) 02:10, April 30, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm objecting to the serious grammar errors that are in that edit and all of the other edits you have made on similar articles. Please, if you're not going to use proper grammar and spelling, then don't add info to our articles. Cade
Calrayn 02:11, April 30, 2015 (UTC)
- Well... what grammatical errors are there? I would love to fix them. The information I added is 100% correct though as I am retrieving it directly from the book itself which is in my hands. I think it is a bit hasty to completely remove valid and accurate information from a page simply because the Grammar and spelling is incorrect (indeed the natural resposne to this should be to fix it, not to deny the accuracy and validity of the information) ralok (talk) 02:14, April 30, 2015 (UTC)
I also have a question
So ok, the EU is now not cannon, but what of the articles that fall under both Canon and Legends categories? Does the Legends information count as canon for them?--Fekyu 04:44, May 3, 2015 (UTC)
Hey can I at least have some help i'm reasonably new to Wookieepedia so...instead of saying "nonsense!" perhaps throw in a few ideas and tips. --Will.K (talk) 10:26, May 3, 2015 (UTC)
- I know I am not Cade, but I'll try to your question, because I once had the same doubt. The only Canon sources that are applied to both Legends and Canon pages are Episodes I-VI and The Clone Wars series (not including the Bad Batch arc and the Crystal Crisis on Utapau arc). So the external information from this media are treated differently, for example if it is an information book like The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia it is considered Legends information, the Star Wars Insider content prior to Blade Squadron is also considered Legends, the old Star Wars Databank was Legends, while the new one (current online) is canon, the Star Wars Encyclopedia Online fits both Canon and Legends and there are a lot of other scources, but those you need to investigate for yourself. I hope I could help you, for any other questions that I'm able to answer contact me. Pedronog (talk) 18:10, May 3, 2015 (UTC)Pedronog
But the bad batch arc and the crystal crisis on utuapau arc are marked as canon are they not? --Will.K (talk) 06:33, May 4, 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, that's why I didn't include them in the scources that are both Legends and Canon...

Resurrecting my sig
Hey Cade!
I dropped by today in order to leave a brief message to Cavalier One, and found that my signature was dumping multiple copies of my user page. As I pulled the strings of page histories to unravel the mystery, it appeared that your bot had, as a matter of routine, redirected several of my component signature templates to my user page, which resulted in the confusing signature I saw. I subsequently discovered Wook has some inactivity policies in place of which I was unaware. I hope you don't mind that I've restored these files, as I've kinda gotten used to having them in place at the various wikis that mean the most to me.
Also, I initially protected most of these templates after seeing that your bot wasn't in fact an admin. The hope was that I could prevent a recurrence of the incident, but I think I've now reverted that protection on all of them. Having a word with you seemed, on reflection, something that would be done in a more civilised age.
At any rate, I hope I haven't done anything terribly offensive to Wook policies, and if, in revision notes, I referred to what happened to my templates as "vandalism", it was only out of a sense of confusion, not accusation.
Do you mind if I keep my signature, even though my activity here might be irregular? If the signature doesn't meet the inactivity policies, is there another solution I can use? Thanks!

Hey, sorry if I uploaded those images wrong. The source of them is from a facebook page. I tried to re-upload one of them with all the proper info such as description, source, etc. and I was told I couldn't re upload a deleted image. Is there a reason for this? And should I do anything differently on the Jimmy McInerney page. I plan on adding a lot more info later tonight.--AH Blueface (talk) 18:02, May 8, 2015 (UTC)
OOPS! I need help
Hey Cade Calrayn, I'm new here and trying to get my bearings. I just kind of made a boo boo here, and feel really stupid. Instead of moving an article I simply created a new one and copied the information over, then redirected. That means there is no history and all that. Now that I realized what I did wrong, I can't move the page anymore because the page title already exists, and I can't delete it. The original page is Mission to steal the Triple-Zero protocol personality matrix, and I wanted to move it to Mission to steal the Triple-Zero personality matrix, so that it matches the Triple-Zero personality matrix in name. Sorry, it's hard to explain. Can you help me? -Effect 03:31, May 11, 2015 (UTC)

Disney Infinity
So I've noticed you deleted Disney Infinity 3.0. Why? I started a discussion about it in the Senate Hall and so far, Brandon Rhea and ProfessorTofty agreed that your deletion was arbitrary. Can you explain why Disney Infinity doesn't deserve an article in the forum in question? "Regardless of whether it includes Star Wars material, there's no need for an article." Why not? Star Wars is a big part of 3.0 with playsets. Are we really going to ignore it? SeanWheeler (talk) 00:20, May 14, 2015 (UTC)
Jumptrooper/Skytrooper
Hello. I just noticed you've redirected Sky Troopers to Imperial jumptrooper. Was there any discussion of this? I don't see anything on the talk page.
It just seems like a weird choice. May I ask why you did it? I understand that they are very similar, but if you are going to merge them, at least clean up the article a bit. Because of the merging, the article links to itself once or twice, and implies that jumptroopers and skytroopers are similar, but very separate. It would also look a lot better if there were some more pictures of sky troopers within. Thanks! DarthKnah (talk) 02:29, May 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I don't recall the exact situation, but the Imperial Handbook was the reasoning for the merge. The sentence in question in the jumptrooper article has been removed. Cade

Hey Cade, I noticed you've made a few droid articles the last few days. Question About Categories
Hello. My name is ElsaRules, hailing from the Warehouse 13 Artifact Database wiki. I have a question about categories that the admins there can't answer, and one of them suggested to come here since many of your category pages have what I am going to ask about.
Many of the category pages here have subcategories that link to it. I was wondering if you (or any of the other admins here) knew how to add that. I have some category pages in the Warehouse which I want to add subcategory links to, but I can't.
I am currently in the Warehouse and will be for awhile longer if you want to get back to me on my wall there. Whenever you have the time. Please and thank you!

Okay...
Why are you treating me like I am the bad guy? I am not the one breaking the wikis rules about how to use talk pages, I am nottheone trying force people to insert fan fiction onto pages, I am not the one using constant minor-edits to bump talk page conversations on the wikis activity feed. I wasnt even arguing with the guy this time, I was trying my hardest to explain to him why what he was saying was not appropriate for the site... so why am I the bad guy in this situation? I have tried my hardest to ignore the guy since my ban expired... I actually didnt want to talk to him, it was he who decided to start responding to pre-block conversations as you can see here he was the one who started it again after the block... See believe it or not, I consider it common curtsey to respond to someone when they are talking to me... He talked to me... not the other way around... and I am sorry he did that, but don't treat me like I am the bad guy here... I have never vandalized this wiki, forced information down anyones throat, I have reverted vandalism every chance I had... and I have always tried to include accurate information, and I have had many productive conversations on talk pages... So please stop treating me like I am something someone would scrape off the bottom of their boot. ralok (talk) 14:52, May 26, 2015 (UTC)

ME-D and ME-D1
Hello, I just wanted to say a thing about ME-D/ME-D1: in-story/in-universe there are three Meedees and only one Meedee-one, as Leeha Narezz says, and as the Codex states. While they may be listed as the same NPC, this is most likely an oversight by Bioware. So I think it should be moved back to ME-D and ME-D1 would be a particular one/ --Zero-ELEC (talk) 21:52, June 2, 2015 (UTC)
EDIT: The point I meant to make, was that we really shouldn't place NPC listing over in-universe info, maybe? (Zero-ELEC (talk) 21:56, June 2, 2015 (UTC))
Revanites' Ascendance
In regards to the Revanites' Ascendance, there are multiple characters that are only mentioned in the not-short story (I-29, R-3, R-27) and at least one title (Master of the Order of Revan). What should I put as their first mention/appearance, if Revanite's Ascendance is not a work? (Which it is; I can accept that it's not a short story, but it most definitely is a work.) --Zero-ELEC (talk) 19:06, June 3, 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, those exist at names like Asset I-12 (I think only I-29 hasn't been made yet), and the non-narrative blog posts are listed under Sources, like the Ascendance post is on Darkspanner's article (with the {{TORweb}} template). Cade

Article Improvements
You seem like a level-headed individual, so I'd thought I should run it by you before posting more suggestions towards article improvements on the Matukai talk page. To get started, I think it's necessary to reveal this potentially controversial finding before posting to the talk page again:

template edit
Hi, Cade! Thank you for reviewing my Template:Majorspoiler edits a couple weeks ago. I'm a little puzzled at your rolling back what I'd thought to be the least controversial part of that edit: using italics for emphasis rather than all-caps. The Wookieepedia MOS is silent on this issue, and it is a widespread publishing standard — especially in the U.S. — that italics is preferred for this. Is there a reason this needs to be all-caps in this template? Thanks. Asithol (talk) 16:22, June 12, 2015 (UTC)
Rill
I had thought canon pages reigned supreme over legends pages? As such, shouldn't the current Rill page (about the animal) be moved to another page so the canon character Rill could then have that page? Cevan (talk) 15:57, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
- "reigned supreme" - really? Articles about species trump a random character who has just been introduced in a new comic. Cade

- I saw someone else – an admin I believe – doing the same thing I just did with different pages a week or two ago; I will try and see if I can find their edits, but why shouldn't canon pages have supremacy over legends pages with the same name? Canon pages will become the default at some point. Cevan (talk) 16:01, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
- Exactly what I just said. A one-off character, regardless of NuCanon or Legends, doesn't trump a species, as clearly stated in our naming policy. Cade

"Trip was correct. Revert it again, and you'll likely be blocked.)"
That's... very much *not* what the consensus track discussion said. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:CT_Archive/Return_of_the_Lists
" I do want to caution anyone reading this, now or in the future, that this consensus is not a blanket prohibition against all lists, nor is it justification for blindly removing lists from articles for no other reason than not wanting a list. Toprawa and Ralltiir said it best in these two quotes: "There are certain instances where lists may still convey information in an article more practically than any other presentation form, although prose is preferred whenever possible." and "Lists basically serve the purpose of temporary repositories of information until that list can be beautified into prose that is worthy of article status. There is nothing gained by just removing them outright." All users would do well to heed these words." -Toprawa and Ralltiir
This is not a ban on lists. This is information nigh-inaccessible via other means currently, and without you or Trip putting a prose section in it's place, and the voting overwhelming agreed it was as Trop said. ZeroSD (talk) 00:11, June 27, 2015 (UTC)
KOTOR II
Can you guys stop removing my comment? As controversial as it is - it's true. The source canon (which the game the character was first created in) indicated the exile to be male. Trip removed my comment because he felt that it had nothing to do with article improvement. The whole point behind that was to point out that Meetra Surik is non-canon, which is why a section within that article should be created for the corresponding identity chosen by Lucasfilm - and separated from the continuity that was never finished.--Yashuvoo Sommin (talk) 06:40, June 30, 2015 (UTC)
- And if you bothered to read and research the topic, you'd know that the "source canon" that you refer to was a generic, non-canon teaser for the game that has no relevance on the actual canon version of the character. There's absolutely no reason to a) respond to a decade-old topic or b) restart topics that were and may still be controversial and pointless, so take heed of the warnings plastered across both that talk page and Surik's talk page, and leave the issue alone or you'll end up blocked. Cade
Calrayn 12:38, June 30, 2015 (UTC)
No - it was the opening sequence narrating the aftermath of the first title for the sequel while introducing a new main character - summarizing the current state of the storyline. It plays periodically. A teaser is usually an advanced CGI animated display made to garner publicity for the upcoming release of a title as a way to ensure that better sales are made. The opening for KOTOR II consisted of in-game mechanics and combat actions that switched in-between cutscenes - in addition to character skins that were used previously in the first game. That doesn't classify as a teaser. I won't push the issue on the talk page any further, but please - don't say what I didn't research (especially considering how many times I have to remind the site of numerous conceptual errors in the summarization of its articles).
The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that there is one. From what it looks like here - the administration doesn't look to the source of the problem when disputes arise between wookieepedians and mediate them accordingly so that the matters are resolved. But rather, you base your assessments on a canon system that isn't consistent with the information put forth in Star Wars as a whole, then end conflicts focused on the friction based off of something insufficient. A creator's canon isn't the deciding factor that determines a character or tradition being inherently superior, it is the created parameters for the said individuals and the extent of their talents or abilities. Measuring these things comparably is how to reach the outcome of an answer, not simply accepting a perspective just because it comes from a distributor that originally set the premise of a glimpse to a greater universe.
With all that being said - please consider your words and their context more carefully. I thought this dismissive attitude of yours subsided somewhat, but you aren't the slightest bit considerate with how you approach something contrary to what you believe was already established. You just simply stamp it out as wrong and threaten with blocks if the matter goes on. That's not within the confines of what's considered civility.--Yashuvoo Sommin (talk) 17:48, June 30, 2015 (UTC)

Fall of the Old Republic
Hey Cade, is this better? I removed the offending speculation. --Alientraveller (talk) 13:11, July 1, 2015 (UTC)

- OK, I guess all the info about the Mandalorians sacking the Temple could go into the Mandalorian Wars page. --Alientraveller (talk) 13:27, July 1, 2015 (UTC)

Calrayn 13:31, July 1, 2015 (UTC)
- Someone must've added it to List of battles for a reason though, maybe the term comes up in Ultimate Star Wars? - It's true that someone likely had a reason for adding it to the list of battles, but there's something important you should consider before you make a page based off a redlink: the person's reasons could've been wrong. You need to be able to independently come to the conclusion that a page is notable enough to be created, rather than assuming that because someone else thought it was, then it must be notable. In the case of List of battles, there were a number of items in there that shouldn't be created due to us lacking information about them and, as a result, the topics not meeting notability standards, so I've removed them from the list. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 14:23, July 1, 2015 (UTC)

Floating health spa
Do not remove the Category:Images_of_Floating_health_spas|category of images for no reason, please. Sightsaber (talk) 14:29, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Firstly, you created it with one image, which is a perfectly valid reason to delete the category, and secondly, there's absolutely no reason to capitalize floating in that category name. Cade
Calrayn 14:33, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Firstly, the second image was placed there almost simultaneously with your removal, and there is no reason for such haste. And secondly, there is a reason to capitalize: one can consider it as the own name of the aircraft, not the generic name of this type of device. And third, if you don't like something, it's better to ask a question on the talk page of the article or user. Sightsaber (talk) 14:47, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- No, there's no reason to capitalize. "Floating" is not a proper noun that needs capitalization; that's like naming a category "Images of Lead pencils." Cade
Calrayn 14:50, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- If you find the Imperial siege balloon of a different type, it would be so, but since it's not, then I'm right. Now you removed the edits in the article Imperial siege balloon: start the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron game and answer, are there any laser cannon on balloons? If they are marked as Imperial targets? The answer is "no" for both questions. So stop vandalism and return everything as it was. Sightsaber (talk) 15:01, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Please calm down. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you on the siege balloons; a fellow user confirms your claim as to their status in the first game. We're going to look further into the article's validity, and it'll probably be TC'd or just outright deleted. Cade
Calrayn 15:05, July 13, 2015 (UTC)
- So, the issue with Imperial siege balloons was resolved. How do matters stand with article Floating health spa: whether the returned indication about his appearance in the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron game and the corresponding guides, the Imagecat template and the corresponding image category (capitalize floating as you wish)? Sightsaber (talk) 08:31, July 14, 2015 (UTC)

Article?
Hi, I'm trying to put links to articles about the class stories on SWTOR. Couldn't add them to the SWTOR article and the article I started is now gone. Saw your name there, figured you could help. Nabnasset (talk) 01:47, July 16, 2015 (UTC)
- The class articles are already linked at the top of the Appearances section. Cade

Rig Nema's lightsaber
Cade, I'd like to know why Rig Nema's lightsaber/Canon was deleted. Just because it may not be notable doesn't mean it doesn't deserve an article. It's been officially named in canon; this isn't just some conjectural title – if it was I would agree with its deletion. Cevan (talk) 18:49, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Are you really trying to Wikilawyer this? Just because it's mentioned as "Rig Nema's lightsaber" doesn't mean it's worthy of an article; that should've been clear by the fact that a Legends article didn't already exist. Cade
Calrayn 18:51, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
- So does that mean the Mission to Moraband isn't worthy of an article? That doesn't have a Legends article. Cevan (talk) 18:54, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
- That's an actual event, not a random lightsaber. There's really no equating the two, and such a generic lightsaber that's barely visible isn't worth this kind of Wikilawyering. Cade
Calrayn 18:57, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Why does the article Neebo's lightsaber exist? It appears even less than Rig Nema's lightsaber, and doesn't even have an officially confirmed name. Cevan (talk) 19:01, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Cade, could you please respond? You've been making a lot of edits recently but seem to have neglected this. Cevan (talk) 15:42, July 23, 2015 (UTC)
- There's really nothing to discuss; as the talk page indicates, that article has undergone a trash compactor process that did not result in its deletion. I'd strongly suggest that you stop trying to Wikilawyer this and, as several other users have said, move on to articles that are actually important or useful. Cade
Calrayn 15:47, July 23, 2015 (UTC)
- I have been working on other articles in this time; I haven't just been stuck up on this issue and refused to do anything else. Have a look here and you can see for yourself. Cevan (talk) 15:49, July 23, 2015 (UTC)

Re: User pages
My apologies, Cade; I just get locked in when updating links and don't really bother to see if it's a user page or a normal page that I'm editing. Won't happen again though, I promise you that.
I was actually completely unaware there was a bot who would update links, though. Do you happen to know how long it takes for the changes to be done? Cevan (talk) 18:50, July 23, 2015 (UTC)
- It's not automatic; requests that are posted on that page are seen by users who have bots and they run the scripts. It'd take RoboCade a minute or so. Cade

Quick question
I see that on some of your new SWTOR articles you were able to remove the content box. Could you tell me how to do that? - AV-6R7 (talk) 16:37, July 24, 2015 (UTC)

Question: SWtOR Short stories template
Would it be alright if I made a template that listed the digital (and otherwise) short stories how they used to be listed in Template:Tor? This would replace (or supplement, if need be) the Tor template in the articles for the Short stories themselves. (Note for example the Smuggler's Vanguard page, where it still has the Tor template. Here it would replace it, since the current template does not actually include the story.) The Tor template could then be made to link to this template, instead of the category page, which doesn't list the stories in release order. So, yeah, that's my sort of ramble-y question. -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 08:01, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
- I really don't see the need for such a template. Unlike a comic series or metaseries, the short stories aren't part of some overarching series and thus there's no real reason to have a navigation template. The category suffices as it stands. Cade
Calrayn 19:21, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
- I'd personally prefer it since it'd allow easy navigation through all of the short stories and I get a bit weirded out when there's an navbox at the bottom that doesn't include the page it's on (Even did a mock-up over at the Jundland Wastes, don't know if it's still there), but I understand that space may be at a premium and it may be considered unnecessary. -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 19:30, July 26, 2015 (UTC)
Hello! Sorry to bother you again, but with the (not so) recent release of the Brothers short story, I'd like to propose this again and (hopefully) get a conversation going about this; once again I've made a template with this navigation in mind. I'd use this nav template if it were implemented, and I think others would as well. While they're not part of an overarching series, they are featured in a way that if someone were to want to read all short stories in order of release, they would not be remiss, and we should facilitate it. Here's a permanent link to the new mock up in the Jundland Wastes if you want to see the proposed template. -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 01:48, October 3, 2015 (UTC)

Portable Infobox styles
Hi,
I'm sorry for my css styles removal! Didn't wanted to make any harm.
We have a nice script determining if on given wiki there are portable infoboxes and it just returned an empty results for your wiki! That's the reason.
Just by curiosity, can you give me an example of portable infoboxes on your wiki? :) That would mean script we made doesn't work correctly which would be kind of bad for us :P I'll appreciate your help, as you know your wiki the best.
Once again, really sorry for my mistake and I'm really curious how could that happen! And I hope you can help me :)
Thanks, Diana

- Because they're not relevant to our site at this time, and the article was lacking in the most basic formatting - it was a quote with a link. We don't need an article on the theme parks, and even if we did that wasn't an article to be kept. Cade

The second page you deleted -- the "Star Wars themed-land" article that was the more properly written one -- at one point had the "Proof of notability" tag which indicates a 7 day period where deletion can be discussed. Wouldn't it be proper to have the page up with the tag for those 7 days before deletion? There was a bit of a discussion starting on the talk page, too. --JMM (talk) 02:15, August 20, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Barsen'thor
Yea, I saw that already. Thanks for the heads up anyway. Couple of points I'd like to clarify though. First of all, it seems that there is still no site-wide policy about the status of the FFG game. I know we haven't had any explicit official word, but the rulebook credits the Story Group and references, at least by providing pictures of, some of the canon-only characters, which lends some credibility to its canon status. If it were canon, then we would need to create the "Barsen'thor/Canon" page with only the information provided in the rulebook. However, we seem to have unanimously decided to accept the info about the Barsen'thor as Legends information. Now, I'm not disagreeing with that decision, I'm all for it in fact. By doing so, though, we are now taking a stance on the roleplaying game's canon/Legends status, a matter which so far has been swept under the rug and ignored due to lack of official input. I just think that the canon policy should reflect this stance, instead of saying "the game's status is unknown" as it currently does. What's your opinion on this? Do you think it should be taken to a CT?
Provided that we do accept this information, that brings me to my second question. Since the wording is "it is thought to be" his tomb, I'm assuming that we're treating the info about the tomb as an in-universe rumor, correct? What about the Jedi Academy game then, which mentions the Jedi buried in the tomb? Would it go into the appearances as something like this:
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (First possible mention)
Or do we treat the professor's statement as a fact and use the simple (First mentioned) instead? In either case, does the Jedi Academy mention warrant the (Retcon) tag as well? I'm not really sure what to make of this. QuiGonJinn (Talk) 15:51, August 24, 2015 (UTC)
- Hmmm. You bring up a good point about the canon policy; I'll be sure to bring it up for further discussion in IRC. As for the second thing, the "is thought to be" is from the professor's own perspective, as he's never actually been down there. The existence of the tomb is question IMO, not the identity of the person buried there. I'd say that the Barsen'thor is in fact buried in the tomb, and thus the Jedi mentioned in Jedi Academy is the Barsen'thor. So... yeah, {{1stm}} {{Retcon}} for the appearance. Cade
Calrayn 16:59, August 24, 2015 (UTC)
- One thing I'd just point out is that references to the Story Group don't automatically mean something is canon. The Old Republic references the Story Group now in its more recent expansions. The Holocron continuity database, like Wookieepedia, still has its Legends section, so the Story Group can still assist in making sure that Legends material lines up with other Legends stories. This refers just to the Legends-exclusive information in the material, not canon information that's also included. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 17:04, August 24, 2015 (UTC)
- On a slightly unrelated topic, I've been wondering, do you think that the mention of the "third" Barsen'thor in the Force and Destiny rulebook also counts as an indirect mention of the first and second Barsen'thors, since "third" kind of implies that there was a first and a second one? Or am I stretching the definition of indirect mention too much? QuiGonJinn

- Firstly, the book's not even out yet, so I'm not sure why you have it or why you think it's appropriate to add content from it. Secondly, you repeatedly fail to properly upload the image through Special:Upload, as Wikia's Add Photo button or whatever it's called at the moment is not a supported method here. Cade

Help on another Wiki
Hey Cade
I was wondering if you would be able to help me on another Wikia with some templates that I'm having trouble with? If you have enough time.
Regards CommanderConnor (talk) 14:21, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
- I can't see to get some templates to work properly and can't work out why haha. I'm trying to emulate the templates on the Episode Pages with the appearances as the sections are too long but can't get it to work. Link's below:
Practice Page http://dccomicsextendeduniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Man_of_Steel/Sandbox
App Template http://dccomicsextendeduniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Template%3AApp
Same thing with the Cast as well.
Regards CommanderConnor (talk) 15:49, September 3, 2015 (UTC)
- Well, when you copied the App template (which I've properly credited now) you gutted the actual bulk of the template, leaving only the ToC. I've restored the functionality and stripped out the heavily-customized functionality that Wookieepedia uses. As for the Credits template, both that and App rely on Javascript hide functionality. this needs to be added to this by an administrator on your site. Cade

- I'm the only admin on the site but I can't see where I can activate Javascript anywhere. That second link I need to add to only gives me the "view source" option? Got any pointers?

Bulk page import and minor CSS
Hello! (I left this message on Toprawa_and_Ralltiir talk and he directed me to you)
I've been doing some work on the wiki for the upcoming "Star Wars: Uprising" game. I'm currently in the middle of making several templates for the equipment and abilities. But there are a few things I need help with:
1. I hacked the assets from a beta version of the game. I then wrote a program to extract the weapon data and export everything to wiki syntax (using the templates I'm writing). It's using the XML import/export syntax for bulk edits. Everything is pre-categorized and formatted correctly. However, only an admin can do a bulk edit :/ so would you be willing to help me out? When it's ready, I will send you the file for review. All the pages are under the super walkthrough portal and under a sub-page named "Equipment".
2. I am trying my best to use the new infobox that is optimized for SEOs. But it is very difficult to customize the look and feel of the box. I've been trying to make the stats use the same color scheme as the game, but I can't do it with the new infobox's default setup.
Would it be possible for you to add a few lines of CSS to help me? I would ensure it only affects what I'm working on. I would hard-code it to only work below a unique class namespace. Once again, I would let you review it first.
- Sure, let me see what the CSS is and I'll add it.
3. Similar to #2, would it be possible for you to add a few Star Wars specific fonts to your wiki? Once again, I want the stats portion to look and feel like the in-game stats page.
- Sure, how would you do that?
4. Would you allow both #2 and #3 on the Mobile skin's CSS? It's a mobile game, so it's reasonable to assume most views would be from mobile devices.
- Sure.
I understand this is a lot for someone to ask, especially before that person has made 20 edits. So here are a few of my qualifications to hopefully make you feel a little more at ease:
- Dead Island Profile - Profile on the dead island wiki where I am Admin.
- wikiMod - My Wikia javascript library for mobile support.
- SteamBox - A script I wrote for Steam Profile integration. Look at my profile for a full example (heavy CSS usage).
- TabViewEditButtons Example - An example of my TabView edit buttons script (also CSS heavy).
- Wikia Stars Profile - I am a wikia star.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

RE:Bulk page import and minor CSS
Thanks for the quick response.
1. Do you have an address I could send it to?
- Jorrel gave me the file, let me take a look.
- Which file did he give you? I had everything implemented a few days ago, but I have a few minor edits/updates that need to go up.
2. The CSS is available on my test wiki here. (example of what is does here)
- It's not visible from that page but I've got it elsewhere. However, is this still necessary to do? I saw Mark do a lot of CSS stuff in the past few days (I've been traveling and busy at Wikia) and the templates look like the ones on your test wiki in both Monobook and Oasis.
- Yea I got someone to put it up globally for me.
3. Just add it like any other CSS. However, all the "@font-face" should be moved to the very top of the document (but below any "@import" lines). It's not required like with imports, but it's standard practice.
4. Do you currently edit your wiki's mobile CSS or JS? If not, it would take a little work, and I would have to write you some custom js code. But after that, you would be able to enhance your mobile wiki as much as you want. (but it does require you to have JS editing permissions).
- I did, but with the advent of Mercury and the deprecation of the wikiamobile skin, there's no way that I know of to do so.
- Via the MW namespace. If you look at my templates on this wiki via your phone, it will look the same.
- Alright, I'll bite. Also, what's with the "MediaWiki:X CSS" pages? Why aren't they are at "MediaWiki:X.css" and how exactly are they being loaded?
- Via the MW namespace. If you look at my templates on this wiki via your phone, it will look the same.
Thank you so much for your help jgjake2 talk contr 4,658 02:43, September 10, 2015 (UTC)
Some other things:
- For pages like this, I think {{DISPLAYTITLE:Grenade}} or something to convert the title into a more readable/user-friendly (maybe just removing the namespace and the backslash)
- DISPLAYTITLE doesn't rename. It only works on the first letter of the page name (IPod -> iPod). There is a script installed on the wiki that is supposed to allow this, but it's old, broken, and poorly written. I sent someone a script I wrote to replace it. And mine will work on any skin (including mobile).
- Not sure why you're saying that it doesn't rename; we've been using it for well over a year to hide the /Canon part of titles on our canon articles—it's a major functionality of the {{Top}} template. Mercury seems to be the only skin that's rejecting the title change.
- ohhh ok. That's not the default functionality of DISPLAYTITLE. Having to change the full title is something that has to be enabled. So should I use that? Do you wanna look at my script for the mobile wiki? I could probably tweak it to fix pages that use DISPLAYTITLE. I've been reading the new skin's code and most extensions have to be partially rewritten to hook into it correctly. jgjake2 talk contr 4,658 17:06, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, go with DISPLAYTITLE; it's widely used here and it's best to keep things consistent (and without JS if possible). However, I am noting that my Chrome mobile emulation is seemingly derping out on your Uprising pages. It keeps saying that the pages don't exist, and they only show up when my emulation weirdly switches back to wikiamobile.
- I wanna say it's a namespace thing, but I honestly don't know. Is it a server level error saying the page doesn't exist (like a 404?), or asking you to make a new page where one doesn't exist? Also, it looks like someone shit the bed and doesn't know it :/ i haven't looked into it, but someone edited a MW string for the mobile site trying to load some CSS. But whoever it was chose a string that gets sanitized and now the mobile menu is super screwed up. Yall should use "Mobile Full Site". It doesn't get sanitized and if it fails, it's at the end of the page.jgjake2 talk contr 4,658 18:38, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Looks like Mercury can only reach the mainspace at the moment, so I'm letting it be. As for the string in question, that was the original backdoor into wikiamobile that appears to have been broken in the last few weeks. What do you mean by Mobile Full Site? Is that a page or extension or something? Cade

I threw that together to quickly load all my JS tools/fixes/CSS for my wiki. Just keep in mind most wikia libraries aren't loaded, so use some of my libs if you need js.

Calrayn 18:59, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
- Does it work with CSS, and is it better to use verbatim or just style tags right in the page?
- A verbatim tag wont work in a place that doesn't get processed :P Just use raw html (so inside a style tag).

- Similarly, {{HideContentSub}} would probably be useful on quite a few of those pages.
- Would you mind (if it's possible) to categorize the templates that you've been making?
- Yea, I'll clean it up tonight.
- For categories, we prefer to use plural forms, like Category:Ability Templates for Star Wars: Uprising and Category:Abilities in Star Wars: Uprising. Similarly, is there really a need for the three categories on the Grenade page? Abilities seems like it should be a subcategory of the walkthrough, and Targeted Abilities should be a subcategory of the abilities category. Cade

3.3 Factual correction
Hello,
My name is Kevin Tipa (kdtipa@gmail.com), and I'm writing to mention an inconsistency in the star wars wikia...
The first article mentions the second death star as 900 KM in diameter. The second one mentions it's over 160 KM in diameter... just barely bigger than the first one. And they both cite the same source for their information.

Star Wars 9 edits
Hi Cade. I was wondering about your recent edits to the Star Wars 9 page. Anakin is never mentioned by name; he's only referred to as "father," so it's an indirect mention. Second, I'm not sure why you removed "starship" from the vehicles section. A starship is a classification of vehicle; not all starships are vehicles (there are also walkers, repulsorcraft, etc.). Cevan (talk) 00:07, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
- So Cade, if someone is mentioned as the parent of someone, but their name is not given, does that count as a mention rather than an indirect mention? You reverted my change on the Star Wars 9 page about Anakain being indirectly mentioned, despite "Anakin" never being uttered. Counting someone mentioning their parent(s) has always been considered an indirect mention, unless they give their name (unless people have been doing this incorrectly for years). For example, in "Tipping Points" Lux Bonteri mentions his mother, Mina, however he just says "my mother." On both her page and the episode page, it says she is indirectly mentioned. Ezra refers to his parents, Mira and Ephraim, throughout *Rebels* as "my parents." Currently they're counted as indirect mentions. Unless these were handled improperly, is there any reason Anakin is not just an indirect mention? Cevan (talk) 14:18, September 19, 2015 (UTC)
- In my opinion, yes. I've always viewed an indirect mention as more of an offhand or unnamed mention. If every mention of "my father" or "his mother" was an indirect, then characters without official names like Kira Carsen's mother wouldn't ever have explicit mentions. Similarly, characters like Sidrona who were only named well after a number of sources were published (or in his case, the name wasn't found until years later) would only have indirect mentions. I apologize for any ill will I may have bore you in the past few days; it's been a weird week. Cade

A small question
Hey! I need to ask this, and you were the first admin I came upon, so I hope this won't bother you. I was reading The Bounty Hunters: Aurra Sing, and I see that the blind sorceress from the Order of the Ffib isn't listed in the characters that appear, and I can't seem to find an article about her. m4-78
Hey man, just highlighting, around the time of the droids arriving on m4-78, is correct for the great droid revolution. Reference the timeline. In Kotor 2's dialogue, it is referenced by the player char, but due to cut content there is no further information. ("That would be about the time of the Great Droid Revolution" and no more options thereafter in the text). The timeline does match, and it is frequently referenced that it has been nearly 64 years.
TPB Vol. 3 Deletion
Hey, I noticed you deleted the page I just created for the third Star Wars Marvel series trade paperback. The trade paperback has an official title, and thus is an allowed page via the notability policy, "Internet marketplaces and listing sites, such as Amazon.com and Edelweiss, may only be used as independent confirmation of a future product if the listing specifies an official title." I'd appreciate it if you would undelete the page. Thanks. --Dentface (talk) 23:26, September 22, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm well aware of the policy, which was made specifically to curb this kind of article that you seem determined to continue to create. I deleted it because it was full of random assumptions—what makes you think you know which issues it'll contain, much less which series it's from? That looks to me to be simply the third volume of the main Star Wars series, which could quite possibly (and likely will) contain more issues than just the Vader Down ones. Virtually everything in the infobox is speculation—only the ISBN, publisher, page count, release date, and authors are specified, and since you don't know what issues, you can't say what series or what artists. Not to mention the relatively unnecessary inclusions in the Bibliography/External links. The point of the policy is that you really should wait until we actually have information beyond just a title. Species and demonyms
Hey Cade! I was wondering whether we have a policy regarding the inclusion of demonyms in species' names. E.g.: should an article be created at "Alderaanian wolf-cat" or simply "wolf-cat"? The corollary of that question is: can we assume that Rattatakian redjackets come from Rattatak even when the source doesn't say it explictely? 1.5 Fixing something Wikia broke
I'm new to this format, but I need to bring a serious issue to your attention. The Telos IV article says Telos was hit by Malak and Karath in 3960 BBY(remember, the years count down, kind of like BC). But the Revan article suggests that Telos was hit no earlier than 3958(2 years after 3960) when Foerost shipyard was attacked first. Now, per the KotOR 1 game, particularly between Revan and Onasi, it is cited that Onasi's wife died "4 years ago" and since the events of KoTOR 1 occur in 3956, it would seem the game was using the timeline posted in the Telos article. Either way, there needs to be some clarification and consistency. If the game is the original basis for the canon, then 3958 can't be an accurate Telos bombardment year. AND YET the Revan article says the FIRST attack was on Foerost in 3958, which preceded the bombing of Telos... so it seems as though the timeline in the Revan article is most out of alignment. 24.182.11.179 11:26, November 24, 2015 (UTC)

Talia (Nightsister)/Canon and others
Hi Cade. I was just wondering why you've moved the canon pages for Talia the Nightsister, as well as others, to include ([insert what they are here]) in the title. I realize that's how the Legends pages for them are titled, but in canon there are no other characters with that name, so I'm not sure I see the point in including (Nightsister) for Talia's canon page when she is the only Talia in canon. Cevan (talk) 22:38, November 27, 2015 (UTC)
- Because when the switch happens, there's absolutely no reason for pages like that to trump the existing OOU disambiguations, like Talia. There are multiple characters with that name. Cade

Honestly, if we're going to have a discussion on this sort, it's better if we use the Senate Hall forum. At least then, we can hold people accountable and have an actual record rather than using a chat room that won't just delete the material and not save it. To be honest, the latter's a rather dirty way to settle something. Had it been me in your position, I would have made absolute certain to have the discussion in the open, actually have it come to a vote, rather than go behind closed doors. So I think we should do the discussion again and this time make sure it's in the open. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 00:57, December 7, 2015 (UTC)
RoboCade rampage
Yeah, I realize RoboCade's going to be busy with sweeping tasks over the next few days. I'm only leaving this message before the shutdown so I don't forget about it; I'm certainly not expecting you to act on it immediately.
In November 2014, RoboCade performed an edit with the summary "Fixing redirects and Layout Guide changes." In addition to numerous valid changes to the article, this edit erroneously deleted a chunk of text from the Galactic Republic/Legends#Behind the scenes paragraph. This removal of a full sentence and parts of two others left the paragraph in a nonsensical state (which has apparently gone unnoticed until now).
It'd be simple for me to restore this text using the edit history. However, I wanted to bring it to your attention first so that you could analyze the bot script and figure out what went wrong—and, more importantly, whether any other articles might have been affected by the bug. If it's just this one, or only a small number, fixing them by hand makes the most sense, but if the bug caused more pervasive damage, perhaps a new bot should clean up after the old one? The time elapsed since the buggy script was unleashed makes that tricky, though. In any case, figuring out the extent of the bug is the first step. Please let me know if there's any way I can help with this. Thanks, and talk to you after the switchover! Asithol (talk) 03:43, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, I see Exiledjedi went ahead and restored the missing text (I'd guess in response to my note above), mooting part of my message. Asithol (talk) 05:06, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Fairly certain I went through RoboCade's contributions not long after that and found all of the issues; not sure why the Republic one slipped through. Cade
Calrayn 14:50, December 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Great! I've no idea what Robo's mechanism is, but that edit looked to me like a regular expression using a greedy quantifier where a nongreedy one should have been, which had the potential to remove large chunks from other articles as well. Glad to hear you'd already caught this. Asithol (talk) 10:54, December 19, 2015 (UTC)

Mace Windu's lightsaber changes -- What gives? the page mention it as his second lightsaber build. Additionally he's seen in Episode one with the Hilt of saber later wielded by Eeth Koth in film and the clone wars series. Also early episode 1 merchandise and toys show him with another. How are references to this not worth mention?

Year infobox
Because it's probably your most mathematically- (and, as it turned out, CSS-) dense infobox, I wanted to give you a chance to compare {{Year}} against {{Year/Draft}} before approving. You'll find it at 410 BBY, a page I had to create to test it on, since the math only works in the main namespace. You should obviously feel free to delete the page once you approve the /Draft.

Sector infobox
Like {{year}}, {{sector}} had some design challenges, so I wanted to make sure you got a chance to review my solutions. This page gives you a side-by-side. You'll probably note that I departed slightly from the non-PI in the sector battles section, mainly in that left justification doesn't give you those awful hanging bullets that you get when you try to centre.

That was Shaak Ti in the hologram, but I had to find it out myself, now I know you cant trust this sight to inform you that your favorite character may be canonically alive. please at least put it in the behind the scenes as a possibility, as if there's another togruta jedi with her markings, the people who wrote it knew what they were doing...... also she's seen alive in the hologram in episode 3 after grevious dies, please say something so you can stop all the "Grevious killed her." bullcrap
I don't really understand the messaging functions on this site, but I just wanted to let you know that when I visited the page for Maz Kanata, the entire text was blocked out with a red box containing arguably the biggest spoiler of The Force Awakens. I tried to go in and edit (not sure how that works either, but there the page looked fine.

Switchover between Legends and Canon subpages
Hello, I am one of administrators of Czech Star Wars encyclopedia (cs.starwars.wikia.com). Currently we are using the same system for navigation between Canon and Legends articles as on Wookieepedia and therefore I also would like to carry out the switchover. However my knowledge of Wikia bots is very limited. Could you maybe give me some information or hints about the switchover? What steps I need to make etc.? Jacket
Hey, sorry if this isn't the right place to talk about this, but would it be alright if I remade the jacket page? It turns out it's given a more official name in the Visual Dictionary and I thought it would be worthy of an article since it's specifically mentioned twice in the film and is also an influence on the scene where Finn meets Rey and BB-8.----Toa Quarax(Talk) 04:35, December 18, 2015 (UTC)

New Republic Senate
Hey Cade, could you change all of the link to New Republic Senate to New Republic Senate/Legends? The Visual Dictionary for TFO officially applies the name to the canon version of the subject. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 22:01, December 18, 2015 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, I disagree with this change. The Visual Dictionary also references the "Galactic Senate" on numerous occasions, as did Aftermath. Renaming it New Republic Senate seems like the latest in a tendency amongst canonical editors to take the most recently-provided name and assume that makes it the official name. Please feel free to correct me if I'm missing something, of course. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 22:08, December 18, 2015 (UTC)

Why did you remove my article on BooBoo Patooie? it is canon!
Dear Cade, BooBoo Patooie is from a legitimate canon source, she is a character from an additional scene that I wrote last night in my living room that explains what happens to the New Republic at the end of TFA. I am in the process of sending the update to J.J. Abrams to be included in the DVD and Blu-Ray release of TFA.
If you don't accept my entry, you hate art.
Thanks :-)
Re: Kalonia
I guess I'm a little confused. I haven't edited in a while, and the wiki looks different now than it used to. For my recent edits, I just use the normal site, but I click on the "Source Editor" button so I could use the original code I'm used to. In the edit that you're citing, I was trying to copy-and-paste an infobox from another page, but replacing the relevant fields for this article, but you're saying I used VisualEditor? Question about switching pages to /Legends
Hi,
I've decided to start working on redirecting some current redirects to their canon counterparts. One thing I've noticed is that when I use the Special:Whatlinkshere tool to see what Legends pages I need to modify so the text links to the /Legends counterpart, many of the pages that show up are Wookieepedia:x, Talk:y, or Forum:z. Do I need to edit these pages as well, or is it only necessary to edit the articles? Also, is it alright to edit "Archived" pages? Thank you!
E.g. There may be a mention of "Imperial Stormtroopers" on Talk:Stormtroopers/Legends. Would I need to change that link to Stormtroopers/Legends, or can it stay as it is? Reddyredcp (talk) 19:12, December 23, 2015 (UTC)

R-9X heavy laser cannon
Hello, I saw you basically deleted my page named R-9X heavy laser cannon. I substituted the redirect with an entire page: it was the "Canon" version of "Legends" R-9X heavy laser cannon/Legends. I did so because R-9X now appears in a "Canon" media (Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Incredible Cross-Sections), and I can't insert a link to a "Legends" article in a "Canon" page (now if you click on R-9X in Resistance transport, for example, you'll go to a "Legends" article).
I probably made some error while moving the page and creating new one, but at the moment it is no possible that R-9X heavy laser cannon contains "Legends" information while it is a "Canon" article. Can you please help me? ADMIRAL MIKE501 Yes, Sir! 16:24, January 6, 2016 (UTC)

ampersand acrobatics
Hi Cade. Do you think the default Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide page should be the real-world one or the in-universe one? I don't really care which it is, but the situation right now is that the title with an ampersand takes you to one version, and with the word "and" to the other. There's no logic to that. Asithol (talk) 20:00, January 9, 2016 (UTC)

...continued
Wow, your talk page fills up quick! I'm replying to your last reply to me. You're right that I should have checked WhatLinksHere before changing the redirect target. But it's inaccurate to say there's "absolutely no reason" to change it. Specifically, one of two things needs to be done to make Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide and Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide link to the same place—which common sense says they should:
- Move Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide to Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide (in-universe book) (or something similar), and Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide (real-life book) to Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide. Because this involves moving one page to a page name that already exists, I believe an admin would have to do this.
- Change the redirect at Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide to point to the in-universe work. This would involve updating links on a couple hundred pages, which someone who regularly runs bots would have to fix. Since you seem to be the only such person on here these days, this depends on whether you're willing to sign up for that work.
If neither of us cares which way to go, option 1 is certainly the easier approach. What do you think? Asithol (talk) 14:35, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- It's really too early in the morning for me to deal with this nonsense. If you want something done, just ask. I'm far more likely to respond if you keep it simple and to the point. I can bot the links later. Cade
Calrayn 15:37, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Gah. Now that I'm awake, no, the correct course of action is to keep the articles where they are. I can bot the links to the redirect later tonight or something and then it can be changed. In-universe naming trumps the OOU source. Cade
Calrayn 17:13, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Well, all right then, but option 1 follows the example set by The New Essential Chronology vs The New Essential Chronology (in-universe). Also, I already updated a bunch of links to point to the new Phrase Book location, which are now red links—can the (in-universe) page at least be left in place as a redirect? Asithol (talk) 17:21, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I've already reverted those changes, and the NEC one is a different case because the IU name is conjectural. This is a Jedi vs. Sith-style case. Cade
Calrayn 17:24, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I edited those links by hand rather than requesting a bot because some of the links previously pointing to the IU article should have gone to the OOU one. So I only updated the links that actually referred to the IU version of the book. If you've reverted them all, that distinction's been lost, and a bot can't accurately update the links. Asithol (talk) 17:38, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Also, by unilaterally reverting, you removed other corrections I made, such as some punctuation fixes and correcting the book's title in the Lost Sultans of Lust article. Asithol (talk) 17:47, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Good lord. You've made this exponentially more complicated and confusing than it had to be, and just keep pushing. None of the changes you made were fixing links pointing to the OOU article—they were all links to the IU article in the IU sections of said articles—and feel free to go through and fix any of the mistakes. Even at the very start of all of this, all that needed to be done was the bot-change of "Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide" to [[Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide (real-life book)|Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide]] excluding a handful of links that I can manually skip over. Cade
Calrayn 17:52, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I was trying to avoid complication and confusion specifically by starting this conversation with you before making any changes. I'd much rather have hashed this all out here before editing anything. You earlier said you "have no opinion whatsoever" which page was the default, and expressed no opinion again today when I asked again to be sure. In light of this, please tell me how you feel I should have proceeded. Asithol (talk) 18:12, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- All right, I'm washing my hands of this for now, and will check back in a couple of days if anything else needs my attention. I withdraw the question and am sorry for complicating things. Asithol (talk) 18:21, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

Reverts on Mandalorian Wars
I cannot understand why my edits of the Mandalorian Wars article have been reverted: the Atlas map near the top of the article makes far more sense to help a reader follow a carefully-mapped war than it does crammed down at the bottom in the Behind the Scenes section.--The All-knowing Sith'ari (talk) 14:54, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- Firstly, it's a Featured Article, so as the author I was within my rights to do so. There's no reason why two images hould ever be placed together like that, and that image is not an in-universe image, so it's where it belongs in the BTS. The map's not even that helpful unless at full size. Cade
Calrayn 15:03, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I believe that the map has far greater relevance to the reader's understanding of the article than a picture of Rohlan Dyre running. I don't really see how anything that came out of the Atlas can be considered BTS material. A reader can get the map at full size by clicking it.--The All-knowing Sith'ari (talk) 15:35, January 12, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I'm new to this whole editing thing, but I really appreciate this site. I was trying to find out more information about the Queluhan Nebula mentioned at the end of Lost Stars, the canon novel, but there is no wookieepedia page. I tried to create a page and it wouldn't let me. I get the following error: The modification you tried to make was aborted by an extension hook
This was what I was going to start the page off with:
The Queluhan Nebula is the location where the Imperial Starfleet is located after the Battle of Jakku, when it was beaten badly and forced into a tentative peace with the New Republic. The Queluhan Nebula is chosen because the Imperial Starfleet cannot be detected by sensors, allowing them to amass a large fleet completely unnoticed. It appears at the end of the novel Lost Stars.
If you can create the page, I'd really appreciate it if you did it for me.

2.1 Page created
I have tried to add content to the page Ascent. It's an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, but no one ever wrote text in that page (it's a red link). However the usual warning appears, my whole edit is instantly discarded, and there isn't the edit source button to use the other editor if I want to try again. How can I do this? Thanks a lot for your help. --Mark Entropik (talk) 10:23, January 17, 2016 (UTC)
Who is Mr Stephens?
Hi Cade, I noted that you decided to delete my page on Mr Stephens, the legendary head of Catering on the Death Star. You have your admin job to do, and I do of course appreciate your decision, but I was shocked at the reason given: "1.2 Nonsense". Nonsense!? Mr Stephens would be saddened! :-)
Of course, Mr Stephens is a character from Eddie Izzard's comedy routine, "Death Star Canteen". Watching Adam Driver's recent Saturday Night Live sketch concerning Kylo Ren taking part in an episode of 'Undercover Boss', which was inspired by that earlier routine, I was inspired to honour the man who started it all.
So, in that light, I wondered: is there not a space, somewhere perhaps in the 'Legends'pages, for Mr Stephens to live on, quietly? :-) I await your opinion, and hopeful support! --5.68.81.4 14:33, January 17, 2016 (UTC)
Clone Wars movie revert
I am curious as to why you reverted my revert at The Clone Wars movie page. It there something I missed regarding the linking to legends vs canon articles? Oknazevad (talk) 02:10, January 18, 2016 (UTC)
