- Cade Brigade! A big congrats. You definitely deserve this. If you're a frequenter of the Wook's Main Page, maybe you know the drill... I want to interview you! Something like these ones. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, let me know. I could ask you the questions here, or via e-mail if you prefer. And if you'd like any images included, just let me know which ones. Congrats again! Menkooroo 03:31, June 4, 2012 (UTC)

Guild leadership
Hey, Cade, will you be on TOR anytime tonight? I'm going to be headed out of town for a couple months, staying with some people who don't have as fast an Internet connection as I might like. For that reason, I'm unsure how much I'll be able to log on and play the game. I'd like to transfer leadership of the guild to you before I leave, but I think it requires both of us to be online at the same time. Are you available any tonight? ~Savage

- GM leadership and other ranks can be transfered regardless of whether or not the other player is on. I hope you'll be around when we make the server move though Bob! Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:30, June 1, 2012 (UTC)

Questions
Here we go! Take as much time as you need to answer them, and feel free to leave as many or as few words as you'd like. Let me know about images.
- I have some good news: You're June's Wookieepedian of the Month! Tell us how it feels.
- Uh.... Honored? Amused? Grateful? Great? It was completely unexpected, actually. I just woke up on the 3rd, checked the RC feed, and was astonished to see that Trayus had nominated me. I've *technically* been here since 2010, but I really only started working this Februray, when I got into The Old Republic. Personally, I'd like to thank all of those who voted for me, and wish good luck to Purpilia for next month's WotM nominations.
- If a future version of you had told you three months ago that this would happen, would you have believed him?
- Most definitely not.
- If a future version of you appeared right now and told you to hoard as much canned spam as you possibly could, would you do it?
- No. Not a fan of spam, regardless of whatever apocalypse may occur on my nineteenth birthday (12/22 = the Mayan end of the world) because of my lack of spam.
- You've added a ton of content from the new MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic onto the site in the past few months. Are you a big fan of the game? Do you recommend it to other gamers and/or SW fans?
- Yes, yes, and most definitely yes. It's a great game, and it's so full of intricate and complex stories that most Star Wars fans will love it. Plus, while I don't have much experience with other MMO's, I think it's a pretty solid game. We at Wookieeproject The Old Republic can't wait for Game Update 1.3, when we can move our guilds to a high-population server and begin recruiting Wookieepedians to help us out.
- In addition to The Old Republic, what are some of your favourite SW books, comics, and games... and which film is the best?
- Tie between Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi. Though, looking back at Empire Strikes Back (in which Darth Vader scared the pants off me as a kid), I have to say it's a great movie too.
- Who are some of your favourite SW characters?
- Oh, I could go on for a while. Revan, Luke Skywalker, Ben Skywalker, Meetra Surik, Wedge Antilles, Han Solo, Cade Skywalker (without the ridiculous mini-beard)... oh, and did I mention Revan?
- If you could punch any one character in the face, who would get the honor?
- Darth Scabrous, the creator of the zombies, I think. The Blackwing virus gave me nightmares when I read Death Troopers in the middle of the night. Now that was a mistake. I'm not good with horror movies.
- What about a dropkick?
- Floyd. (Just kidding, Floyd) But seriously, Jar Jar Binks. Star Wars can do so much better in the comic relief department.
- Back before you exploded onto the scene with your The Old Republic coverage, what kind of edits did you make on Wookieepedia? What initially inspired you to become a member of the community?
- Looking back at my edit history, I see that I first started adding tiny system and planet articles from the Essential Atlas back in June 2010, when I was for some reason trying to make my own list of Star Wars planets. That phase, however, lasted only a month, and I really didn't do much until this February. Then, I started reading more about TOR, and my brother convinced my dad to buy me the game itself. I've been hooked on the Wook and TOR ever since.
- Do you have some advice for anyone who's interested in becoming an active contributor to the site?
- Start small, learn the rules, and pick an area to work on. Don't try to work on a big topic or too many topics at once... I made the mistake of trying to take notes on literally every character in TOR so that I could make articles for them, and I quickly realized that I was overreaching.
- You discovered Wookieepedia's IRC channel pretty early. Is it as terrifying a place as they say?
- It's rather fun, most of the time. Just stay away from Floyd, agree with Culator, read the random factoids and news that Lord Oblivion tosses out every so often, ignore Karo's insanity, and don't fight the Europeans (there are so many of them).
- What can we expect from you in the future? More Good articles? Perhaps some Featured articles?
- Two words: Project Hero. I love the Jedi Knight character from TOR, and it's going to be my main project for a while. I'm trying to ultimately bring the Hero of Tython (the Knight character) to Featured Status, and also bring to FA/GA/CA status as many articles connected to the character as possible.
- As for my current nominations, I have officially joined the ranks of the FANominators with the Battle of the Forge as the culmination of the Jedi Knight's Tython storyline. Now to see if I can survive the scrutiny of the Inquisitorius.
- I'll ask you what I ask everyone else: What kind of impact would you like to leave on Wookieepedia?
- I certainly hope to leave a lasting impact, and definitely one that's beneficial. To me, the Wook is a spectacular representation of what people can accomplish when they come together on the Internet with a common cause and a common love for something, and I see it as a wonderful tribute to the ever-expanding and always intriguing universe of Star Wars. It's an incredible resource for any fan, and I'd like to help keep it that way.
Congrats again! Hooray! Menkooroo 04:38, June 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Images.... I'd say File:Jedistarbirdthing.svg, File:Revancardbackbrighter.jpg for the characters question, and File:JangCade.jpg, if you can find a way to slip it in :P

SWTOR guild server transfer
In case you missed the announcement on the forum, server transfer has arrived for the Wall of Light server! Bioware has selected our destination for us: The Harbinger. To move your characters, log in to your account on the official swtor.com website, go to "My account" and you should see the option for character transfers. The process is incredibly quick (took about 5 minutes in my case), and The Harbinger seems to have a vibrant community that should serve us well. See you on The Harbinger! ~Savage

Thanks for the Welcome back Cade! My exams are very nearly over but not quite, ending this coming Friday. Until then I won't have a TOR subscription and will only be on Wookieepedia very occasionally. I'd told myself that I wouldn't come back on at all until after but the temptation was just to great. Talk page chat room posts
Cade, just to clarify, the removal of talk page content on Mas Amedda talk page was due to the content violating the use of the page by attempting to turn it into a chat room or discussion forum in violation of the Talk header instructions. The instructions for Talk pages are clear and posted at the top of the Talk page: "This space is used for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question...." Since you've only been here a relatively short time, you may not be aware of this problem, but such postings clutter article Talk pages forcing an editor to sift through inane postings to get to the actual issues relating to the construction of the article. Usually, such posters are encouraged to seek elsewhere for answers to questions that are not related to editing the article. However, anonymous posters who do not sign their posts are not usually present enough on this wiki to benefit from being counseled. —GethralkinHyperwave 17:39, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
- And while I feel strongly about this issue, I apparently am in error. Tranner has supported your revert, so it is sufficient for me. However, this is a major issue with discussion spammers enough that I am tempted to bring this up on the Forum to address it. —GethralkinHyperwave 17:54, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
Please keep edit summary comments appropriate
I notice that in response to a good-faith change I made to the Kento article, you are reprimanding me in the edit summary. The edit summary field is not there for that purpose and any comments concerning my editing should be made to me on my Talk page. Assuming that I did not look at the change before reverting it was presumptuous on your part, since you were not sitting with me when I made that change. I do not make changes arbitrarily, but I do miss things at times—as we all do no and again. The edit that I reverted appeared to me at the time to have had extra spaces between sentences. However, after a second look, I see that the error was after the link (to which you have reinstated the correction, thank you for that). I am not saying that you were personally attacking me outright, but to quote the NPA policy, "Comment on content, not on the contributor." Making statements about the quality of my editing to me by name in the edit summary is skating that line, so please take this into consideration and focus on using summaries to state the reason for the edit instead of trying to give counsel to another editor. Please save any advice you wish to give another contributor—however mild or frank it might be—for that contributor's Talk page where such advise is appropriate (as I have done here). Thank you for your cooperation. —GethralkinHyperwave 09:47, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

I understand the requirements for having everything verified, however, my understanding of a "community" is to help one another towards a common goal. Would it not be just as appropriate to help one another to verify everthing that is place in wookieepedia? I see a lot of unverified stuff still on many of these pages and not a single person has either removed it or attempted to add verification on it. Do you have any ideas on how we may be able to fix this problem? (unkas2)

I originally added in that section because there were concept artworks for the Executor. War
HI, I just have a quick question: On page 112, the part of the Reconquest of the Rim that displays the Listehol Campaign shows Sikurd as a blue point. Despite the fact that there is no written description of it, that would point out that a battle took place there, right? Thanks, 501st dogma(talk) 15:29, July 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Guess I'll have to make the article soon then. 501st dogma(talk) 11:54, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Actualy, if you look at the map, it appears the grayish dots are for battles, while the blue dots are for important worlds in the campaigns. However, if a battle took place at an important world, the blue dot overrides the grey one. This means that there was no battle at Sikurd. (To prove my point, look at the five veils Campaign minimap. Enarc is a blue dot, and no battle was ever fought there, though it was an important part of the Campaign) Do you agree? If so, I'll get rid of the Battle of Sikurd. 501st dogma(talk) 15:18, July 16, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Cade,
FAnoms can't actually just be removed. They need to go through the official removal process, which can only be done by INQs. Desolator crisis
Hey Cade, I saw that you made a conflict nav box template for the Desolator crisis. It looks good, but do you think these are necessary? Aren't the listed conflicts all part of either the Cold War or Galactic War? If so, can't the crisis be added into those respective boxes as a campaign? Talk pages
Instead of removing a user's comment from a talk page without any explanation, you should leave a response on the talk page informing the user of whatever reason you would have had for removing the comment and/or place {{subst:msg-talk}} on the user's talk page (when relevant). Regardless of what the user in question has to say, there is no need to remove a comment without giving the user an explanation. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 00:35, July 24, 2012 (UTC)
- Talk pages, and what counts as an appropriate comment, are becoming a bit of an issue from what I've seen. The only talk page edits that should be reverted, in my opinion, are personal attacks and vandalism; everything else would technically fall under the umbrella of "good faith" edits, even if the posts are in violation of the Talkheader template. I'll admit I've reverted talk page edits of all kinds over the years, but in most cases talk page editors are just relatively new users with little understanding of site policy. Grand Moff Tranner

The Old Republic game
Hey Cade got a question for ya. With the new update for Star Wars: The Old Republic it says that it will run on old computers now. The question I got is any idea how old that will run and has it decreased the computer cores needed to run it, and can you get the update without having the game installed. The reason I ask is I got the game back in January and have never played it to date. When I tried the Installation process told me that I meet all requirements except that it needs more CPU cores to run it. I would appreciate it if you can get back to me on this subject, but if you can't it's no biggie. DarthRevan1173 (talk) 01:07, July 25, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, I just noticed the nomination and deletion of the article about the Unidentified Vulture droid that appeared in Nomad Droids, and I felt it was really unjustified. Unfortunately I was away and couldn't participate in the voting. Here are the reasons I think it was notable, even though it did not have a quote:
Compared to the rest of the vulture droids that appeared in that episode, this one was the only one who followed R2 and 3POs ship down in the planet's atmosphere, it shot the ship's engines and was the reason they crash landed in the first place, and had a rather unique destruction scene, where R2 performed a dog fighting maneuver on him (also, the droid was initially confused as to where the ship had gone, and uttered something in binary while looking around for them). I think that's enough notability, it was not just a background character.
- I've now also noticed you put a few others up for deletion as well. Before you do that, make sure you actually read the Biography/History on them and see what makes them stand out, and don't nominate them if they actually have a quote, however short it might be. Also, don't nominate them if they have unique character models.

Battle on Death Star I
You reverted my edit, apparently because it broke the NPOV rule. I would just like to know how, because everything I wrote came from the novel which was based on the apprentice's perspective. As for the Emperor and Vader, I made sure to avoid terms such as "evil" or "tyrannical," despite the fact that they have been described as such. If you could point out a few examples as to where my edit did not conform with the NPOV rule, it would help me see where I made mistakes. JRT2010 (talk) 20:21, August 3, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help. I rewrote the section differently, and hopefully it should be more NPOV than the last time. As a reference on how to improve the way I wrote part of this article, I looked at the Rescue of Rahm Kota page, which actually looks a little play-by-play or overly descriptive of the characters' thoughts and emotions. But it's a featured article, so I'm assuming it's NPOV enough to get that kind of status. I kept a few things regarding their thoughts or intentions - like the fact that Sidious wanted to corrupt Marek; or that Marek sacrificed himself to save the Rebels; but that was only for the sake of detail - a way of briefly describing their motivations and why events played out as they did, as revealed in the novel. Again, I appreciate the help. If there's anything else, please let me know. JRT2010 (talk) 23:20, August 3, 2012 (UTC)
Re:Morlimur Snugg
Gotta respond to this one with a "Meh." If it's legitimate, and it gets deleted now, the article will be recreated later. Might just be better to make it a stub and leave it alone until January. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 00:06, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

Mon Calamari Separatists
My question is, why did you delete the Mon Calamari Separatists from the Battle of Kamino page. In the Republic Comic defense of Kamino the Lucrehulk-Class Battleships aswell as the Amphibious fighters where piloted by Mon Calamari. --Lars Oebeles (talk) 18:02, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Angral
Hey Cade, I'd love to. I was going to FA him before the game came out anyway, when his appearances were limited to Deceptionand Threat of Peace, so yeah I'd gladly take care of it. Are you working on a separate space or just editing directly to the article? And yeah Zash is... okay. Slow, but okay. It's alright so far, but when I get around to writing the latter part of her biography it's going to be kind of funky because (spoiler!) she and Khem Val become the same person. Bit tricky. Reverted Merger
Hey Cade, you recently reverted Ilum crystal when it's been suggested for merge with the Adegan Crystal page for quite some time. You reverted it, but left the new Adegan crystal with all of the merged data still in place. So, since all of the Ilum crystal data is merged with the Adegan crystal, in my mind this creates an unnecessary page. So, I'm making an open invitation to discuss why you think it should not be merged. This invitation goes for anyone else who reads this as well. We can discuss it here, or at the Adegan crystal page. All input is welcome.

Talk Page
Hi Cade, I just wanted to let you know that I sent a message to an administrator regarding you reverting my Talk Page. I don't know what you think you're doing, but I don't find picking on newcomers funny. Now if you have a problem with me for some unknown reason, I would like to know so it can be settled. I'm always open for conversation. I've been here for less than a week and immature antics is not something I want to experience on this Wiki. I don't think admin would think too highly of you trying to drive newcomers off.

Open Apology
I just wanted to apologize chiefly to Cade and to anyone else who read my previous post. There was a misunderstanding about edits and, having been here for less than a week, I behaved like a typical newbie. Definite shame on me! I also had a question for you Cade or whoever is willing to chip in. Are there ways to get involved in the community other than contributing? I still have many links yet to explore, so I may answer my own question eventually. However, I'm open for suggestions until then. I also was curious if anyone here was also a contributor on Star Wars Fanon Wiki. I'm probably going to check it out too. I know we're supposed to keep conversation focused on Wookieepedia, so that's all I'll say on that. Any helpful comments on how to get involved beyond just contributing would be great though.

Clone wars screencaps
I am working on getting better version of the images I have uploaded from the clone wars. If I get better quality images can I reupload them? Matt Seay (talk) 00:47, August 14, 2012 (UTC)
- The screenshots that I uploaded took me a while to get and now I am told I can not use them. Well, I thought the one of Sidious would have been good on the Battle of Sullust (Clone Wars) article, but I guess I am not allowed to add it. And the one of Ahsoka'a goggles is not that important though. Matt Seay (talk) 01:55, August 14, 2012 (UTC)

Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Pius Dea crusades
Hello, I recently found a datacron in Star Wars: The Old Republic that give a codex entry about the Pius Dea crusades. The following information may affect some of your current CAs:
| Source: Star Wars: The Old Republic | |
|
Through Supreme Chancellor Contispex, Pius Dea exploited tensions within the Hutt Empire after the Hutt Cataclysms. Eventually Contispex sanctioned an invasion of Hutt Space, beginning the Pius Dea Crusades. Over the next thousand years, Contispex’s descendants—biological and ideological—would inherit his position, continuing to wage war against various alien factions until growing unrest brought Pius Dea’s rule to an end. | |

I was thinking that this might make TOR an indirect mention for each of your Pius Dea Crusade articles, but it is a definite mention of the first crusade. However, I will leave the final decision up to you. Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 19:29, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Also, the last bit seems like an indirect mention of the Seventh Alsakan Conflict, which you have as a GA.--Exiled Jedi

Edit Page issues
Hey Cade, I have been having this weird issue with the edit page. Instead of all the tools being on the side, they are messed up and the Standard Preloads drop down box and custom preload box is in the middle and all the other stuff in no longer there. What could the problem be? Matt Seay (talk) 19:53, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
