Plot summary
Aboard the Skyfarer, the rebel heroes find themselves in a strange place they've never seen before: No-Space. Luke Skywalker notes that the Force feels distant and he can't sense any life forms. Amilyn Holdo tries to jump back into hyperspace, but they only end up in the same spot. Lando Calrissian wonders if their predicament is due to the path engine they wired to the ship's engine.
To remove the path engine, they need to land, and they discover that the strange platform they've landed on has a breathable atmosphere. Leia Organa speculates there must be an energy field around it. A strange boy in a spacesuit appears, telling them the place was once important and is called No-Space. He suddenly says he has to run and that they should hide before jumping off the platform and flying away with a jetpack.
When the heroes return to their ship, they find it surrounded by a strange group of heavily armored humanoids. These creatures attack, and the heroes are pushed to the edge of the platform. Chewbacca notices a ship nearby and the heroes jump to safety. Lando trips and falls, but Luke catches him with the Force.
A voice from a nearby speaker requests their weapons. After some discussion, they comply, throwing away their weapons, including Luke's lightsaber. The boy from earlier flies back on his jetpack, catches the lightsaber, ignites it, and flies around. The heroes' ship flies toward a larger space station, and the voice welcomes them to the colony of Kezarat. An alien with one eye then appears, explaining that they are in No-Space, where normal rules don't apply, and that no one has left in a long time.

Charles Soule (@CharlesSoule) on Twitter (post on June 2, 2022): "Writing issue 30 of my Star Wars run as we speak. I've loved the challenge of bringing Luke, Leia and the gang on the journey from Empire to Jedi - lots of plates to keep spinning while ensuring there's a sense of steady progress for everyone from Chewie to Lobot. Very very fun." (backup link)
