Choose Your Destiny: A Luke & Leia Adventure (audiobook)

Choose Your Destiny: A Luke & Leia Adventure is the audio version of the canon book of the same name, written by Cavan Scott and part of the Star Wars: Choose Your Destiny series. The audiobook was released exclusively on Amazon FreeTime Unlimited in 2019.^[1] As of June 2024, it is exclusively available as an Alexa Skill with an Amazon Kids+ subscription.^[3]

The audiobook has one significant difference from the book. The page 129 segment in the audiobook leads to the non-canon ending on page 132, whereas it leads back to the canon path on page 126 in the book. The canonicity of pages 81 and 129 is therefore unclear, but the audiobook may be a correction, as this path involves Luke and Leia leaving R2-D2 behind.

There is one canon ending and there are 21 non-canon endings. The path to the canon ending is AB,[A,BA],BAABAABBBA,[A,BA], [B,AA],BBBABBB,[A,BB(book only)],BABA (the brackets indicate a choice of paths). Therefore there are 8 different paths to the canon ending (16 in book), taking between 53 to 56 minutes to reach the ending. The total duration of all 76 story segments is approximately 89 minutes and there are 144 total paths possible (160 in book).
