Yarla was an Elnacon female who was a member of the Tech Masters, the rulers of the junk planet Trionak. When Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa embarked on a mission to recover the hijacked Rebel Alliance transport Nema, they alerted the Galactic Empire to the Tech Master's theft of Imperial property in order to end their rule.[1]
