Rhodes was an individual who held the rank of admiral within the navy of the Galactic Empire, commanding a Star Destroyer. When Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa became trapped on the junk planet Trionak after attempting to rescue the stolen Rebel Alliance transport Nema, Skywalker contacted the Empire, informing them that the Tech Masters of Trionak had stolen Imperial property. Admiral Rhodes was sent to Trionak, bombarding the planetary shield around Trionak.[1]
