Mae-ho Aniseya was a Force-wielding assassin during the High Republic era.

Assassins were individuals, sometimes professionally trained or experienced, who killed individuals for personal cause, in service of an organization,[2] in return for payment, or even out of enjoyment.[1] A paid assassin was also called a hitman, who might be hired as a mercenary by powerful people such as crime lords, businessmen, politicans, or aristocrats to assassinate their rivals.[3] Some hitmen worked indefinitely for criminal organizations as enforcers to facilitate their operations.[4] Often times, assassins also worked as bounty hunters, being hired by employers who would pay a substantial reward for the death of a certain target or targets.[5]
History

Sith assassins were assassins who served the Sith Order.[6] Clone X troopers were specialized clone troopers[7] in service to the Galactic Empire who were programmed to serve as an assassins.[8] Some assassins throughout galactic history included Mae-ho Aniseya,[9] Jango Fett,[5] Cad Bane,[10] Zam Wesell,[5] Aurra Sing,[11] Darth Maul,[12] Savage Opress,[13] Rukh,[14] Deathstick,[15] Ochi,[16] and Fennec Shand.[17] The position of "Master Assassin" was claimed by some skilled assassins, such as Ochi[18] and Shand.[19]
