Plot summary
- Cathar 1: "Wait! You can't kill us—Do you know who we are?'"
- Cathar 2: "Take our matching earrings—They're heirlooms, they're priceless!"
- Raslin: "Aw, sweethearts, the money doesn't matter to me. I didn't take Jabba's credits. All I care about is the hunt. I'd be killing my way through the galaxy anyway. Bounty hunting is a convenient way' to get paid for something I'd do for free."
- ―The Cathar Twins and Raslin Grace[3]
In the Bounty Hunters Guild Social Club, on the planet D'Assem, bounty hunter Dengar recounts the time that he had caught up with a Hutt who attempted to run from the hunter. In response to this decision, Dengar cut off the Hutt's tail and return it to the Black Sun crime syndicate. Unamused, Ariole Yu calls the story entirely fictitious and never happened. Which Just Lucky supports with being a half-truth at best. Following these claims about the stories these hunters tell are fictitious, Manaroo digs at both Ariole and Lucky for suggesting that they fought against Crimson Dawn on their own flagship, as well as switching to Boushh and Brene who claimed they tried to assassinate Domina Tagge. From accross the table, Raslin Grace claims she has one of the greatest stories they will ever hear, a completely truthful story. On Chibbier, Raslin sees a new bounty released by the guild for the capture of the Cathar Twins, who managed to fleece Jabba the Hutt and get away with it. Raslin explains that the twins believed themselves to be untouchable since they come from a rich Coruscant family who had managed to bribe other bounty hunters to leave them alone. While overseeing the twins through the scope of her rifle, she watches as a rival breaks into the twin's home to collect the bounty themselves. Breaking into the home, by allegedly bypassing all the traps inside the house, Raslin blasts the rivals using a single shot from her rifle, killing them both. With Raslin in pursuit of the twins, they release their pet nexu which she fights unarmed. In the jaws of the Nexu, Raslin manages to escape and slay the creature, secretly with a blade, and confront the twins. Offering their priceless earrings to Raslin in exchange for her not killing them, she explains that the money doesn't really matter to her, but the hunt is what she relishes, and the bounty hunting is a convenient way to earn money for something she would do for free. The surrounding bounty hunters find the story amusing and completely unrealistic, accepting the choice of those around her, she calls the Rodian bar lady over for another round of drinks and offers a pair of earrings as a tip. Raslin takes out a hologram of her next hunt, Doctor Chelli Aphra.
