Opening crawl

After investigating a series of brazen raids on New
Republic supply ships, LUKE SKYWALKER, RYNN
ZENAT and their squadron tracked down the
pirates to the edges of the Fenril sector.

There, Luke learned that the pirates are exploiting
Fenril sector residents, the Nagai, in collusion
with the villainous Zantarrk gang, a group
Valance and Han Solo have already been tracking.

Meanwhile, when a New Republic trading vessel
attacked by the Zantarrk crash-lands on Loradil,
the surviving crew comes face-to-face with Clone
Wars-era battle droids! At the behest of Mon
Mothma, Luke, Han, Valance and Rynn race to
investigate….

Plot summary

On Loradil, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, General Han Solo, New Republic pilot Rynn Zenat, and Cyborg Beilert Valance arrive on the Millennium Falcon and begin heading towards the wreckage of a Providence-class carrier. The group feel uneasy, finding the planet to be too quiet, inside the carrier, Rynn uses manages to give power to the ship, allowing them to travel further into the ship. Luke attempts to split up and check another ship with Han, but they are interrupted by an ST-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid and several B1 battle droids.

Meanwhile, on Kaltrais, Nagai prisoners are being forced to repair the wreckage caused by President Tusvein Shoirin during Leia Organa's visit to the planet. A group of Zantarrk Gang members then discuss that Gallana Venk is bringing a few hundred more prisoners from Nagi, shortly before an explosion occurs behind them. Through the hole, a blaster bolt kills one of the surviving gang member. Jesrit emerged from the hole, prompting the enslaved Nagai to help find who was oppressing them, and permanently stop them in the name of Garlev and their people.

Back on Loradil, Luke attempts to reason with the droids that the Clone Wars has been over for many years, they ignore the statement, and the group is surrounded on both sides. The group jump into action, destroying many battle droids, but in the turmoil, Rynn is grabbed and separated from the group. Han and Valance attempt to get the Tactical droid to call off the droids, but he refuses and is destroyed by the two of them. They plan to catch up with Luke and Rynn, but are knocked down by an explosion caused by a Super battle droid. Rynn escapes the claws of the droids, and back out onto the planet's surface. Stumbling into the wreckage of the Nechrim's Wake after being hit by one of the droids, she is met by Finch, who offers to help her.

Meanwhile, on Chandrila, Leia and Chancellor Mon Mothma discuss the recent development that Prime Minister Kezrin Almovar and Reyna Oskure are working together. They feel ashamed to have presumed Oskure died during the Battle of Jakku, but have to respond to the Fenril Consortium. Kith Alaytia swiftly enters the room, reporting that the consortium has put together a fleet of Warships on a trajectory for the New Republic.

Back on Loradil, Luke comes to the aid of Han and Valance, allowing for them to escape the Separatist droids while Luke disposes of them. Han and Valance begin looking for something to aid them against the droids, while Luke finishes his duel against the Super Battle Droid’s and Droideka. Searching a compartment, the group discovers a cache of old Clone trooper armor.
