Warning:Sourcing
Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:26, March 30, 2020 (UTC)

- Hello. Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia, but your recent contributions are creating problems for the reference lists on multiple articles that already have a reference to the source you're using. Please follow our sourcing policy, or an administrator may block you from any further contributions. Cheers! --Erebus Chronus (talk) 00:36, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
Response
Sorry about reverting it, but the grammar was already correct the way it was before your edit. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 22:48, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
- I understand that, but the word "had" is past tense of has and have, so it was fine the way it was. And you didn't correct grammar, you rephrased. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 23:02, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
Regions
Hey, I've been aware of your recent contributions to these three articles, and thank you for adding the infoboxes with the correct information, way to be bold! However, due to the fact that one of the sections of the regions template is called other objects, I believe this works the similarly to the templates for sectors and star systems, that section would consist of planets or locations that aren't known to be in a sector. Planets like Coruscant, Cato Neimoidia, and Mimban are known to be in sectors, the Corusca sector, the Quellor sector, and the Circarpous sector, meaning they wouldn't be listed in that part of the infobox. Cheers! --Erebus Chronus (talk) 20:41, April 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Well, that was one way to go about it, heh, but wasn't the right way, however. I removed the planets from the infobox because they don't belong in that section. From now on, just put the regional sectors where they belong, and put the planets/moons/locations that don't a confirmed location/sector where they belong (other objects). Also, when you're adding information that comes from Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One?, add the reference and I'll fix it up for you when you save the page. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 21:12, April 18, 2020 (UTC)
Linking
Please, be careful with the links you use for sources. Its Tarkin (novel) not Tarkin, its Thrawn (novel) not Thrawn, there's no Florrum in the Databank you need to use the {{Databank}} template and its Star Wars: The Rebel Files not The Rebel Files- Be more careful with the links between in-universe subjects and actual books--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:10, April 19, 2020 (UTC)
Creating pages
Do not create pages just with "{{Eras}} l", if you're going to create something wait until at least you have a paragraph written.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:41, April 20, 2020 (UTC)
Elements
Regarding the various edits you are making to elements and metals, are any of those changes based on actual sources? For example, nothing here seemed to indicate that a source said it was a metal. We shouldn't be assuming properties of in-universe substances based on the properties of their real-world counterparts, as that is speculation. Zed42 (talk) 05:27, May 3, 2020 (UTC)
- If a canon source included that information, it would be fine. However, information on a real-world periodic table should not be used for in-universe information. For substances of unspecified nature, their real-world counterparts can be mentioned in the BTS, as long as you source the information correctly. Zed42 (talk) 05:34, May 3, 2020 (UTC)
RE:Redlinks
Hey. That tag would be used when there are more than either 5 or 6 redlinks. Hope this helps. --Erebus Chronus (talk) 04:55, May 5, 2020 (UTC)
A little something for you
Sourcing
Hello VergenceScatter. I noticed you added information in infoboxes, and I just wanted to remind you that infoboxes entries are to be provided with references too. Those can be easily found in the article you are linking. Thanks. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 12:31, May 10, 2020 (UTC)
Actor/actress articles
Hello, please be aware that actor/actress/out of universe articles are not done in the same manner as character/in universe articles. I would suggest looking at the layout guide so you can see what you need to do. Thanks! --Lewisr (talk) 23:28, May 13, 2020 (UTC)
- No problem, not your fault as you didn't know! Let me know if you have any questions or need any help --Lewisr (talk) 23:32, May 13, 2020 (UTC)
- Please, take care of this issue before moving on to other edits. Again, if you need help, we're happy to help, but make this a priority. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 11:03, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry to answer after a few days, I was busy during the week-end. What you did is fine, but mostly unnecessary in term of initial attribution. What you absolutely need when creating a OOU person article is either a Bibliography section listing an official source, or an External links section listing an media source (Imdb alone isn't enough, btw). Without that it will be hit by a {{verify}} and be deleted after seven days. In the case of Eric MacLennan, it needed a Bibliography section. I provided it to show you how to do it. Also, please, be careful with formatting. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 23:53, May 17, 2020 (UTC)
- What I meant by formatting, was how the wikicode was written. And on Eric MacLennan, you made a few mistakes. Please, try to be careful in the future. Also, your use of {{IMDb}} was incorrects too. Always refer to the template page when you first use it to familiarize with it. I can't really explain to you how to do cells (I'm a code scavenger, I almost never write it myself ^^), but I corrected the page, maybe that should help you, by looking at the modifications. --NanoLuukeCloning facility 08:01, May 18, 2020 (UTC)
Conjectural titles
Hello. Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia, but in some of your most recent edits, you have added the {{Conjecture}} to articles whose titles are actually confirmed to be their names. Before you add the tag to articles that don't have "Unidentified" in their titles, make sure that you review the Appearances and Sources sections of articles like Skywalker's fleet. Thank you for your cooperation. Erebus Chronus Open frequency 21:10, June 1, 2020 (UTC)
Lake Tahoe
Hi there, can you please provide a source for your recent Lake Tahoe page? Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and currently there is no info on the page that even connects it to Star Wars. RattsT (talk) 22:39, June 1, 2020 (UTC)
Small Categories
Hey! I would say that if there is only 1 ship in that category then I would say its not very necessary to have. Those ones appear to be unnecessary! To remove them you simply need to replace the category on the respective pages with the ones in the category. So if you look at Category:B'zabuu-class transports, I would simply add the SoroSuub Corporation products category to the B'zabuu-class transports page and then add both the Sorosuub Corporation products and transports category to the Sea Killer page. And do then repeat the process for the others, and once the B'zabuu-class transports category is empty, just tag it for deletion as its an empty category. Hopefully you understand what I mean! Feel free to say if not --Lewisr (talk) 17:44, June 3, 2020 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks for doing those! To respond to your question on the Nyubba-class cargo barge drivers category, I would also say that one can be deleted once you've done the same process as above! --Lewisr (talk) 17:52, June 3, 2020 (UTC)
RE:Products by company
Well then, I cannot argue with Lewisr's point, although I have just been adding starship/vehicle classes to products by company categories because I believed them to just be for starship/vehicle classes. Erebus Chronus Open frequency 19:31, June 3, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Year Pages
Apologies for a late reply! I notice the same kind of tense on other pages so its probably okay, though if you want to change it to past tense then feel free! --Lewisr (talk) 13:04, June 6, 2020 (UTC)
Stub template
Hello. Would you please care to explain to me why you added the Stub template here, on a Comprehensive article? Imperators II(Talk) 07:35, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
CSDs
Hello. If you're going to add the CSD template to categories, with the explanation that they're empty, please actually empty them yourself before doing so. Both Category:Corona-class transports and Category:Sovereign-class Super Star Destroyers still have pages in them despite you marking them as empty. Thank you. Tommy-Macaroni 10:43, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
Re: Darth Sidious
The answer for this question is long, but tl;dr Darth Sidious was his true identity rather than Palpatine. Vader died as Anakin, hence why the page is at Anakin Skywalker, and Dooku's true identity was Dooku rather than his Sith alias. This has been extensively debated on the talk pages (and probably in the Senate Hall forums) so if you're interested in the full reasoning, I encourage you to read the talk page (including archives) of Sidious' article. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 15:59, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. For what it's worth, when you sign comments, you only need to use four tildes, like ~~~~, not ~~~~VergenceScatter. The software will automatically substitute the tildes with your signature. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 16:02, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
Stub templates
Hi VergenceScatter. Can I ask if you are checking the sources for article you are tagging with stubs to see if there is any more information to be added? Or are you simply tagging small articles with the stub template? I ask because your edit to 473-L transformer was to add a stub, despite there being no other information available about it.
Also, please be careful when adding information that you are formatting it correctly. Your edits are causing information to be compressed into one line, rather than spaced out. By that I mean adding references should be formatted like this:
==Notes and references==
{{Reflist}}
[[Category:Technology]]
Whereas your edits are causing it to look like this:
== Notes and references ==
{{Reflist}}[[Category:Technology]]
Please make sure your formatting is correct when adding new information. - Sir Cavalier of One (Squadron channel) 16:04, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
- That's not the intent behind a stub template. Stubs are articles that can be expanded beyond their current state, not simply because they are short and not listed as a Comprehensive Article. Ideally you should be checking the source yourself to see if the stub template applies in any case, and not simply assuming based on the length of the article. - Sir Cavalier of One

Editing

- In the same vein as the previous message, you recently left the "Skor II" article looking like this (scroll down to see everything). Let this therefore be a general warning to you regarding your editing. The next time you carelessly leave an article in a mess of a state like this, you will be issued a block from editing. There's simply no excuse for this. Use the preview button before saving your edits. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:06, June 20, 2020 (UTC)
WOTM
Thanks for the nomination, I really appreciate it! Though I feel User:Editoronthewiki should get this one, and as ecks said its better if someone who hasn't been nominated before, is nominated and gets the award --Lewisr (talk) 16:31, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
Citation
Please do not add {{Citation}} to every article you come across that doesn't have referencing. That's not what the template is for. The purpose of that template should be to highlight articles with questionable claims that need referencing, similar to the {{Fact}} template. Adding the Citation template to multitudes of articles is unnecessary and needlessly clogs up our maintenance categories. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:10, June 12, 2020 (UTC)
Reporting vandalism
In the future, please report ongoing vandalism in Wookieepedia:Vandalism in progress or to an administrator in our live IRC channel. That way someone is much more likely to respond to it sooner as opposed to you engaging in a back-and-forth edit war with the troublemaker. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:57, June 13, 2020 (UTC)
- This second wave of vandalism was stopped 12 minutes before you messaged me. And the administration will consider article protection if this continues. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 02:09, June 13, 2020 (UTC)

Appearances/Sources
Hey! Please don't add things that are considered appearances (like Force Collector) into the sources section like you did here. Thanks! --Lewisr (talk) 00:33, June 18, 2020 (UTC)
- No worries --Lewisr (talk) 00:36, June 18, 2020 (UTC)
- And please make sure you're listing things under the right section, Star Wars: The Rebel Files is a source not appearance --Lewisr (talk) 03:47, June 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Generally an appearance is a story published narrative, I'm not really sure the best way to describe a source but anything that doesn't seem to fit the story narrative idea would be a source, or if you're unsure always happy to clarify if its a source or not --Lewisr (talk) 04:07, June 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Again, now with Twilight Company pages, please be careful to put the correct section. These are appearances, not sources. --Lewisr (talk) 18:14, July 7, 2020 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been blocked from contributing for 1 day for this edit, in which you carelessly left a broken reference tag. I recently warned you about your hasty, careless edits that have been breaking articles, and you were warned that the next instance would result in a block from editing. As I stated previously, there's absolutely no reason for this. Slow down and check your edits using the Preview button before saving. I hope this brief time out will give you some pause to consider this before you begin editing again. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 13:52, July 1, 2020 (UTC)
- I'm going to note that you did the same here. Your "scroll box fix" carelessly removed two items from the Sources list. I just noticed this as I'm going through my Watchlist after I blocked you, and now I'm tempted to increase the length of your block. I'm not going to, but let this be very clear to you: If this happens again, you will blocked again for a significantly longer duration. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 14:01, July 1, 2020 (UTC)
Edit summaries
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! When editing, please remember to provide an edit summary more often. This helps your fellow Wookieepedians, particularly those patrolling the Recent changes, understand why you are making certain changes. Thanks! That way you won't monopolize the Recent changes with the page contents of all of your article creations. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:10, July 17, 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Speaker (Chiss Ascendancy) added a link to a social media post without including a screenshot of the post. Thanks! 1358 (Talk) 09:08, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
Hey, I just wanted to clarify that per policy, Tweets and social media posts belong in an external links section, not in the sources section. We also do not add {{1stm}} or similar templates. So if I want to add Che'ri's approximate birth year, I have to add a refence note detailing when Chaos Rising takes place? When such a note already exists on the Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising Page? Shall I just copy and paste the note on Chaos Rising with an additional note of Cheri mentioning her age? And if it's that simple why didn't you just do that? Also apologies if this post comes out messy, I'm still getting used to the new interface. -Mr Rinn (talk) 22:24, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Defaultsort
If you don't defaultsort an image category, it will automatically go under "I" for "Images". You would have to do it anyway for characters with last names, and it's standard to do it so image categories are alphabetically sorted by the name of whatever it is they are pictures of. RE:Boba Fett
The anon's reason definitely seemed NPOV to me (Jango raised Boba, so he's his dad...), but I suppose it could be argued either way. Jango's Databank profile uses quote marks for "son," and corrects that relationship by stating that Boba is actually an unaltered clone (as opposed to a genuine son, without quote marks). While I don't think father/son requires quotes per every mention, I think the first mention should have quote marks, as the databank and other sources have clarified the Fetts' "father/son relationship" as actually being that of donor and clone. JRT2010 (talk) 22:42, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. I wouldn't have defended the quote marks if not for a source like the databank, as normally they can have a biased tone. Also, The Star Wars Book uses quote marks for Darth Sidious' "cloned son," so the Fetts aren't the only ones with a "father/son" relationship that is actually donor and clone. JRT2010 (talk) 22:48, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Single-item categories...
...are only acceptable when referring to sources, such as subcategories of "Images by artist" or "Images by source". I will not be changing my mind about this, as such categories clog up the in-universe categories. That's what the subcategories of "Images of individuals by name" et al are for! I suggest you bring that up in the Discord. SilverSunbird (talk) 01:30, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, and something I forgot to add: allowing single-image categories would do absolutely nothing to alleviate the category crowding you mentioned, as it would in fact exacerbate it. SilverSunbird (talk) 01:35, 30 September 2021 (UTC)

Chandrila
- Hi, I will have a look. Best, Hk 47 (talk) 10:44, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hi again. The only think I found, once removed all mentions of the planet being the homeworld of Mon Mothma, is from Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees. Apparently, the Wookiee Cheyerooto was a famous bio-engineer on Chandrila before coming back to Kashyyyk.
Sera Jossi: "There is a wookiee in town named Cheyerooto. I understand he was a bio engineer of some renown on Chandrillia." The spelling mistake is from the game. Best, Hk 47 (talk) 13:33, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. As the Mon Galamari language is not connected to a writing system in-story, I'm going to mention it in both articles' BTS sections. I don't think we have enough info to merge them. SilverSunbird (talk) 00:31, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
