Star Wars Legacy

I'm very interested to learn more about Star Wars Legacy and about the new one Extremes. If any of you know anything about this could you either tell me or edit the concerning articles. Thank you

Spoilers

Please beware of adding spoilers from recently-released books to articles, especially when the book hasn't even been officially released yet, as you did for Fate of the Jedi: Vortex on 44 ABY, Saba Sebatyne, and New Jedi Order. I was unaware of the spoiler that you put in the article, and so now it's been, well, spoiled for me. Whenever you put a spoiler like that in an article, please make sure to put the {{Spoiler}} tag on the article, as well, as I have done for you here. Thank you. Cheers

Hey Dr. Weaver,

Cheers for adding the new info to Sigel's article. However, please keep in mind that you can't add unsourced info to a Featured Article. For help with sourcing, check out here. Cheers, and thanks again for being so proactive! Menkooroo 15:58, April 30, 2011 (UTC)

Inuse Template

Please respect Inuse templates. They clearly read: "As a courtesy, please do not make edits to this article while this message is displayed, in order to avoid edit conflicts." Menkooroo 10:07, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

  • Since you seem to have trouble getting it through your head, I'm going to tell you one last time. Please respect the inuse tag when it is in effect on an article. This is the big green template at the top of the page that reads what Menkooroo has already quoted for you. If you continue to neglect this mandate, you will be blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 18:57, May 26, 2011 (UTC)

Sourcing info

Please remember to source any new info you add to articles. Thanks. Imperators II(Talk) 12:39, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

  • Again, source the new info you add to articles. Thank you. Imperators II(Talk) 19:41, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Blank sections

Please do not place blank sections into articles without any content. It is recommended to add the content within the section before submitting. Thanks, JangFett (Talk) 01:28, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Darth Vader

Well, here's the thing; first off articles are supposed to be written in past tense. And the problem isn't really you writing the said sections, but I wrote them, then had two well respected writers proofread them. They made some changes and that's how it was left - so I left it. I also have stated on several occasions that Vader in the Vader series is my project. I'm not mad, you shouldn't be mad (you have no idea how many time I got reverted when I started :P) but you know...I would suggest working on this article: Attack on unidentified pirate base, just make sure it's past tense and has a prelude and aftermath. Cheers! Calvin Schubert(talk) 04:11, March 27, 2015 (UTC)

I totally agree with the title "Return to Tatooine", that's why I originally titled it as much. The problem is there's already a section titled the same. Calvin Schubert(talk) 04:40, April 4, 2015 (UTC)

Galactic Empire Edits

I was just curious as to why you removed large portions of recent edits I made to the Galactic Empire page, for instance mentioning the Free Ryloth movement and extra information on Imperial stormtroopers and Palpatine's motivations for expanding across the galaxy? I don't mean to sound accusatory, but I was just curious as to whether there's confusion regarding some of the info. - Comm. Boots (talk) 20:05, April 25, 2015 (UTC)

  • Now that you mention it, I kinda agree with you about the whole Palpatine reality manipulation thing, although after watching all those WWII world domination documentaries I feel I've become addicted in a way to the whole "fanaticism" and superweapon way of thinking about the Empire. Probably due to a bit too many of the action movies I've seen, but I think I'll see what I can do about adding it to Palpatine's page as well.
  • I was also thinking about having the whole Berch Teller thing put in another section as well. I was pondering the name "Re-establishing order," or something of the like, plus adding a new section would mean adding a new quote, which I think would help the article in the long run. Also, checking up on the page again, my browser might not have updated or I might never have actually clicked the save button when writing about the stormtroopers and such, so that actually might be a folly on my part. That or I submitted my edits at the same time as you or another person, so some weird Wikia bug might have affected it. - Comm. Boots (talk) 18:57, April 26, 2015 (UTC)
    • Well, I edited the Galactic Empire/Canon page and changed the organization of the various sections, as well as moved paragraphs to more fitting new sections. I also ended up calling one section "Age of the Empire," partly due to the fact that the name is specifically used in A New Dawn, it sounds better than "Re-establishing order", and because there's also another canonical Wookieepedia page called the exact same thing, so I could use the whole Main page template to connect the two. Hopefully when Rouge One and the Battlefront novel come out more monotonous information can be added to help add to these new sections. Also, I do understand why you put the Imperialization section first after Birth of the New Order, however I just felt it was weird to be suddenly talking about the Inquisitors and the Rebels TV show to then suddenly go back to immediately after the Clone Wars. Just my opinion though. Also, thanks for responding to my posts! Not everyone always takes the time to write a well-planned paragraph back. If you have any ideas regarding the page, please feel free to write on my talk page, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Also, I'm humbled by the fact that my synopsis of Tarkin is the only thing about Tarkin you know, and it makes me wonder how many other millions of people who read these pages are perhaps changing their perspective on Star Wars and perhaps even changing their life! - Comm. Boots (talk) 17:26, April 27, 2015 (UTC)

New page infoboxes

Hey Bad wolf, love the name! I noticed you recently created a character article (Cylo-V) and just thought I'd drop you a line quickly. I'm not sure where you got the infobox data from, but some of it was missing. This meant it was added to a maintenance category which has over 15,000 articles in it which I'm working through lately. Next time, if you could use the preload, which appears in a drop-down list under the edit box, it says standard preloads, I'd really appreciate it. They'll have all the parameters and you won't be missing any. This saves me, or someone else, from going in and fixing it later, and doesn't take long at all. Anyway, good job on your recent efforts, if you have any questions at all in relation to this or other matters, just leave a message on my talk page and I'll get back to you when I can. Have a good week! Manoof (talk) 06:25, May 25, 2015 (UTC)

Removing Spoiler template

The spoiler period is 30 days after release, so please don't remove the template from articles that cover recently released things. Thanks. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 21:31, October 23, 2015 (UTC)

  • I wasn't aware of the rule soI won't but the Spoilers page is becoming chaotic. Loads of the spoilers on that page should go to the minor spoilers page.--Bad'Wolf (talk) 21:39, October 23, 2015 (UTC)
    • We use that template as a courtesy to readers. Some people are more tolerant towards spoilers, while others are more resistant. The spoiler template at the top accommodates everyone. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:03, October 23, 2015 (UTC)

Darth Maul

Why did you remove everything from Darth Maul's page? Cevan IMPpress (talk) 14:58, March 18, 2017 (UTC)

Copying info from pages

Hey, you can't just copy information straight from the legends page onto the canon like you did with Duel on Mustafar, it needs to be written from scratch. You can use the legends page as a guideline but you can't just copy it all over --Lewisr (talk) 13:20, May 30, 2017 (UTC)

Referencing

Hello, please can you not do references the way you're currently doing, its extremely confusing and kind of lazy tbh, this is what you should be doing and not this. Its also better to reference to specific comic issues/tv episodes rather than just putting the whole series for rebels or the entire arc. One other thing, please don't just shove all the references at the end of the paragraph as its then not immediately clear what comes from where --Lewisr (talk) 19:40, June 4, 2018 (UTC)

  • Sorry if I offended you, that wasn't my intention but you see what I'm talking about. I wasn't calling you lazy, it was just that the references was a bit lazy in comparison when its clear you know how to do it. Sorry once again --Lewisr (talk) 22:36, June 8, 2018 (UTC)

Spoiler policy

Hi, just to let you know that the spoiler policy says that information from TV episodes can only be posted upon the episode's initial Eastern Time Zone airtime. Even though the episode is in the app, we need to wait until it airs on the east coast. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 22:48, November 4, 2018 (UTC)

Backup links and citations

Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Rahara Wick added an external link without including a backup link. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a permanent archival link in all external links. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Thanks! Also, please make sure to utilize the correct citation template (in Rahara Wick's case, {{SW}}). UberSoldat93 ClanMudhornSignet-Redemption (talk) 09:59, August 7, 2020 (UTC)
