Michael Leader (died on August 22, 2016)[1] was an actor who portrayed a stormtrooper in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[2] He specifically claims to have portrayed the Head-Bumping Stormtrooper Wanten in the film, though both Laurie Goode and Martyn Read also claim this role. Because of this, it still remains unknown as to who truly portrayed Wanten.
