Sublight Lounge

The Sublight Lounge was an all-ages lounge on board the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon that featured a bar and gaming tables.^[1] It was located on Deck 6.^[2]

Outside the Sublight Lounge, is a wine bottle behind glass. On the first sailing of the Halcyon, Shug Drabor tried to break the bottle on the ships hull, but it would not break, which he took as a sign of good luck. It was placed outside the lounge, were Gamblers would rub it for good luck, before heading in to gamble. However, after 275 years, spots on the sides of the bottle were worn thin, so it was placed behind glass.^[3]

Silver Sea Martinis were stirred by Hydrominae, aquatic creatures kept in two small tanks at either end of the bar.^[4]

Fiery Mustafarians were served with a vial that contained lava extract from Mustafar, which were held in a "Mustafarian Climate Simulator" (a container with vials), behind the bar.^[5]

Behind the scenes

Early versions of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser website referred to this place as the Silver C Lounge as early as August 2019. The name change was later revealed in an update on May 4th, 2021.^[7]
