The Muja Twist was a orange non-alcoholic beverage served with ice cubes and a petal.[1] It was considered a truth telling beverage, and anyone who drank it while lying would supposedly find it so sweet they would be unable to talk. Meanwhile, those who drank it with pure intentions found the beverage bittersweet instead.[3] The drink could be consumed by humans.[3] In 34 ABY,[4] Muja Twists were available to order in the Sublight Lounge, a bar found on board the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon. The drink shared its name[1] with the muja fruit.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Muja Twist was a non-alcoholic beverage available at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[6] Prior to the opening of the hotel, the drink was revealed to the public in a preview on the StarWars.com blog written by Kristin Baver; however, the drink name was mispelt as "Mooja Twist".[7] The out-of-universe beverage is made with melon, herbal garden blend, mint, and sparkling bubbles.[1]
