The Pod Chaser was a brown alcoholic speciality cocktail served with a skewered berry and a chilled metallic sphere in the glass. It was potable to humans[1] and Chagrians.[2] In 33 BBY,[4] the Chagrian pirate Nanna Frouj mistook the disguised Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi for a fellow pirate on board the Pelagic, a casino sail barge on the planet Kwenn, and complained that no one would serve her a Flaming Tentacle, claiming that a Pod Chaser or a Mandalore Sling would do instead. The Jedi pretended to also be searching for a drink before locking Frouj in a freezer when his disguise failed.[2]
The drink was among those available in both the Sublight Lounge[1] and Crown of Corellia Dining Room[3] on board the Halcyon, an MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser,[1] in 34 ABY.[5] In the dining room the beverage was available to order during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.[3]

The Pod Chaser was an alcoholic beverage available at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[6] The out-of-universe beverage is an old fashioned made with bourbon, bitters, and orange zest.[1] The Pod Chaser was last served at the hotel during the September 28–30 voyage of 2023, the final voyage before the closure of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.[7]
