During the Clone Wars, a siege took place on the planet Wrea against a Separatist base. C-B3 cortosis battle droids were deployed to the battle, however because their designs were sabotaged, they were ineffective in combat.[1] Many battle droids were destroyed on Wrea, their bodies left behind on the planet.[3] The siege was later mentioned in a Clone Intelligence report describing the C-B3 cortosis battle droid, which was included in the survival compendium "Neyo's Almanac of Clankers."[1]
