Finch was a Duros who served the New Republic during the New Republic Era. While onboard the CR90 corvette[1] Nechrim's Wake[2] in the Fenril sector, the Duros—alongside the captain—were fired on by a pirate crew that operated in the sector.[1]

Finch first appeared in the first issue of the canon comic book flagship series Star Wars,[1] which was written by Alex Segura, illustrated by Phil Noto, and published by Marvel Comics on May 7, 2025.[3]
