Nagi[3] was an astronomical object that was the homeworld of the Nagai species. During the New Republic Era, a number of Nagai were forcefully removed from their homeworld to the planet Gadrilam by other members of the species.[2] Later, the Zantarrk Gang were informed a few hundred more Nagai were en route from Nagi to them.[3]

Behind the scenes

Nagi was first indirectly mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the second issue of the 2025 comic series Star Wars. The issue was written by Alex Segura and published by Marvel Comics[2] on June 11, 2025.[4] It was later identified in the series' fifth issue, also written by Segura and published by Marvel[3] on September 17 of the same year.[5]
