The Koolach system was located in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim[1] and was the origin point of koolach silk.[2][3]
Behind the scenes
The Koolach system was first mentioned in 2009's The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-10.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for koolach silk in relation to the Koolach system.
