Hello, CanIPlay, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:

Wookieepedia is the Star Wars encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but we are not a general Star Wars forum nor an all-inclusive trivia site.
In-universe articles are written in past tense and from a neutral point of view. Our Manual of Style and Layout Guide form the basis for writing on Wookieepedia.
All additions to Wookieepedia must be sourced and attributed to a reliable, official source. Fan fiction is welcome on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki.
As a registered Wookieepedia user, you are entitled to a user page and a unique signature. Eventually you will also gain the right to vote on community matters.
Remember to be nice to your fellow Wookieepedians. Avoid making personal attacks and engaging in edit wars. Using multiple accounts is not allowed.
Talk pages and forums are part of the public record and comments on them, including your own user talk page, should be left intact. Remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

RE: Kyle Katarn

Hi CanIPlay. The canon Kyle Katarn article was deleted after a community vote on how we treat the card pack that the Kyle Katarn card was part of. The Legends article was then moved back to the base "Kyle Katarn" page name instead of Kyle Katarn/Legends. We previously treated all of the content in the Galactic Ambitions as canon per a previous vote, but now treat the pack as what we call "split" meaning any content that has only previously appeared in Legends content is treated as Legends while anything new or that has previously been referenced in canon is treated as canon. Katarn sources

You still haven't sourced the problematic edits, and added one to the list. Furthermore, it's obvious you know how to do it, since most of your edits are sourced. However, if this problem persist, unsourced paragraphs could be tagged with {{Fact}}, or worse, be deleted on account it was very recent (we tend to have a zero tolerance for unsourced). Sourcing is of utmost importance for our work, and failure to acknowledge the issue may result in administrative intervention. --NanoLuuke^{Cloning facility} 18:16, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

- - User:Hk 47 and User:NanoLuuke, I just saw your warnings and reverts, and I seemed to "ignore" you because for some reason I was never notified about new messages in my talk page, and I just saw them by chance. The reason I sometimes put ref tags and sometimes I don't, is that I generally go according to the pre-existing articles I edit, of which some have and some haven't in the first place, so I am not sure in which cases the policy works; in some cases it seems like the "Appearances" section is enough. It seems that minor characters who have only one appearance (like Jes (courier)) didn't have ref tags in the first place so I went along. Sorry for the trouble. I will be more careful from now on. Menali system

Hi CanIPlay and thank you for your work about Dark Forces. I am regularly working with Jason Fry in the development of The Essential Atlas Online Companion. I noticed in some of your edits that you mentioned a "Menali system" that does not exist in Wookieepedia. Can you confirm me that this system is only mentioned in the audio adaptation of Dark Forces: Jedi Knight and not in the novel itself? Can you also tell me in this video at what moment exact the system is mentioned? Ideally, it would be great if you could create the Wookieepedia article. - User:Hk 47 Yea, and I was not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere with another spelling, it could be anything between Menali and Myna'alli. I would also like to point at you another obscure planet I heard only once and dared to write an article about: Shackel. Although it is possible that the planet mentioned in Rebel Agent was intended to be Milagro. CanIPlay (talk) 14:42, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Cite error
