Sources section

Hey Imperators II, novels should be placed only in the "Appearances" section of article, not in the "Sources" section. For a full list explaining what goes where, please read the layout guide. Also, when adding references to the infobox of an article, make sure you add the {{Ref}} template, as I did here. For more information regarding how to properly reference articles, check out our sourcing guidelines. Cheers, Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 16:09, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

Battle of Gazzari

Hi Imperators II, please do not make major edits to articles that are highlighted for featured status. While your edits may be of good merit, I'd rather wait to hear if the Inquisitorius has something to say about it. Thank you. Axinal Convocation Chamber 17:31, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

  • No problem, just want to hear the Inquisitorial reviews before I make any changes. It's hard to say whether it is part of the New Sith Wars, since Gazzari wasn't really a Jedi-Sith conflict. However, if the Inquisitorius thinks it should be there, I will add it. Axinal Convocation Chamber 17:51, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

Article titles

Hey Imperators, just letting you know that you only need to add the (New Sith Wars) specification to article titles if there is another battle by the same name. For instance, the Battle of Corsin and Battle of Castell do not require the (New Sith Wars) specification, because we don't have articles for any other battles of Corsin or Castell. Cheers, Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 21:30, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Talk pages

I'm just helping the site :) --Station7 22:04, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

You copied my infobox lol ;) --Station7 22:11, February 21, 2011 (UTC)

Annexation of Kiffu

Hey Imperators, can you tell me where exactly in Fatal Alliance it states that the Annexation was part of the Cold War? I can't recall it specifying that. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 10:04, February 24, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Keshiri bar

You raise a good point, though I suppose it depends on where the sun is in relation to the bar. Whether the bar is within or without the walls, the walls' shadows could potentially shade the bar, so I think either way we're being speculative. I guess "in or near Tahv" is the only thing we could say for certain. Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:51, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

  • The fifth-to-last paragraph says that Jelph looked toward the "now-purposeless city walls." Why would they be purposeless? I'm thinking because Orielle was hiding within the city, and so the walls would offer her no protection if Jelph was also inside the city. I could certainly be wrong in that interpretation of the phrase, however. Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:56, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Kesh bar

I don't know how I can be any clearer than I already was on the Keshiri bartender nomination. Sentinel states with perfect clarity that it was a hovel nestled in the city's walls. Saying that that means it's outside the city is not only pure speculation, but also completely nonsensical. Furthermore, if either of you took the time to read up on Tahv, you would find that the Sith don't live in the outer parts near the walls at all; only the slaves and the Keshiri live near the outer walls, so it makes perfect sense that he doesn't get that creepy feeling in the bar. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:15, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

  • Having the tavern outside the city, particularly with the context provided in that opening passage, doesn't make any sense to me. But after digging further, page 6 mentions that Jelph has never been to Tahv (and it doesn't say anything about "until now"). So waddaya know, we can apparently say with certainty that the tavern is in fact just outside of Tahv. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:40, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Remorseless in Battle of Gazzari

Nice catch, Imperators. I'll add that now, as it won't significantly change the article. Thanks for telling me that. —Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:11, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Raid on The Spike

Hello Imperators II,

I wrote an extended version of the Raid on The Spike from Star Wars: Knight Errant: Aflame 3. I did not realize that you had already written an article, albeit a stud article. I have redirected Raid on the Spike to Raid on The Spike since Odion's space station was called "The Spike". Just to let you know by the way. Andykatib 19:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Kr'saang

Hey Imperators, just wanted to say thanks for the spelling correction on Kr'saang. —Axinal Convocation Chamber 19:43, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • Last paragraph on page 71 of the novel identifies Kr'saang as the "leader of a brigade of shock troops." —Axinal Convocation Chamber 19:50, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for your help with the article.—TK-999 (Talk) 19:15, March 19, 2011 (UTC)

Battle of Malastare

Hi Imperators, it's me again. I would greatly appreciate if you advised me about the article Battle of Malastare, as it had been tagged for cleanup and I don't know how to begin, as it is adequately divided. Thank you in advance!—TK-999 (Talk) 14:51, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thank you for your help.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 17:47, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Fanon

But the information he added (in several edits) was unsourced. The reason why I did not revert the two others is because of the corresponding policy.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 18:26, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • Update: it was canon. I apologize.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 18:32, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

You're welcome.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 19:17, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • I will stop reverting then, unless it is clear that the information is fanon or vandalism; I only did the revert because I though that if the information previously in the article was incorrect, it would have been tagged. Sorry.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 15:29, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Second Duel on Ambria

Placing that battle in the "Next" field is complete speculation. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that confirms that that battle was in fact subsequent to the duel. Please do not add it again. Thank you. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 20:25, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

  • Yes, it is speculation to claim that the First Battle of Zeltros in 596 BBY is the first event to take place after the Second Duel on Ambria in 980 BBY. There is no source that states this. Therefore it is speculation/original research by its very definition, as I've already linked to you above. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 22:16, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Battles of Felucia

That would be prudent if both battles were only conjecturally titled, but they're not—the battle in "Padawan Lost" indeed received the name "Battle of Felucia," so that's how we must refer to it. I know it's confusing, but TCW can be blamed for that. :P CC7567 (talk) 20:30, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Unidentified six-legged creature

Hey Imperators II, thanks for your review on my article. If you get the time, would you mind taking a look at it again to make sure I satisfied your objections, and if so, updating the nomination page? Thanks a lot!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:10, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the support, Imperators. If you don't mind, could you strike your objections so there's no question? Thanks again!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:40, March 21, 2011 (UTC)

Help

I would be grateful if you helped me to determine the canonicity of Michaelego's recent edits. He—among others—set K2-B4's date of destruction as being destroyed in the Battle of Lola Sayu (which was previously unconfirmed in the article). Thank you in advance.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 17:19, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

  • Whoops—I did it too quickly. Thanks for the advice and the point.—TK-999 20px(Talk) 17:36, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. I didn't realize that about the novels. But I'll remember now.Cal Jedi 17:24, March 22, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Unidentified cam operator (Javis Tyrr)

Yeah, it was incorrect, the cam operator was a completely separate character. I've taken care of it now; huge thanks for pointing that out! :) Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 14:44, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

Regarding that year article

Hey Imperators, I saw you put 2,000,000,000 BBY up for deletion, slating it as wildly inaccurate. I don't have the Calrissian novels, so is there any way you can show me a passage from the Flamewind of Oseon that shows the date is inaccurate? That way I know for sure that I'm not deleting something that has any chance of being legitimate. Cheers! Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 14:58, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Coruscant and the Core Worlds

Hey Imperators. Either I'm not looking carefully enough or this is the wrong book, because I can't find that much on Queen Rana. All it says about her is this: "Thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, Duros scientists developed interstellar flight during the reign of Queen Rana. Their explorations took them throughout their sector, and they used their new technology to build space stations, catalogue new worlds, and establish a colony on Neimoidia." Looking at the last version of 25,180 BBY before it was deleted, the article lists The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons as its primary source, so you might want to look there. Hope that helps. CC7567 (talk) 06:50, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • I wouldn't call it a "privilege," but yes, administrators are able to look at previously deleted pages to check whether an article has already existed in a previous form. CC7567 (talk) 07:03, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

NEGAS

II'll give it a look tonight. I haven't read much of my NEGAS, but I've wanted to read a bunch of them lately, so that'll give me an excuse to get back into it. Will reply tonight or tomorrow. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 14:35, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • Granted, it's possible that I missed it, but I couldn't find any dates on the Koorivar. The only date for the Iktotchi was that they were discovered by the Republic in "circa 3,500 BBY". The article on the Chadra-Fan mentioned periodic tsunamis, and that the most recent one devastated the largest Chadra-Fan population. No dates were given though. I hope that helps! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 23:27, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Links

Links there are not required, but they are primarily used to link to articles that are not linked to anywhere else in the article. However, it is usually up to the writer of an article, seeing as there is no policy for or against linking here. CC7567 (talk) 22:31, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

  • According to the deletion log, it used to be a redirect to 1008 BBY, but it was CSDed a while ago. CC7567 (talk) 01:19, March 25, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Cularin age

I looked in the book and I could not find out the Cularin system's age. There was some vague mentions of millenia between the first and second star forming, but their was no direct mention of the system's age that I could find. Let me know if you need anything else looked up in the future.--Exiledjedi 19:48, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

Connor Freeman's father

Hey Imperators. Just wanted to tell you that I've addressed your objection on the Connor Freeman's father GAN. Could you take another look and strike the objection if you feel it's been satisfied? QuiGonJinn 20px(Talk) 12:36, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for helping me with images. Really helped! (Oh, by big fan, I mean I look up to you) Once again, thanks! --Trooper$ 19:46, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

13,000,000,000 BBY

I would say thats a bit of a stretch to interpret it that way, but okay. I would think the book is being written from the perspective of the most current Star Wars stories. I mean if it were from 100,000 BBY, 25,200 BBY, 0 BBY or 137 ABY its still circa 13,000,000,0000 years ago.--Darthscott3457 20:03, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Conqueror error

Yes, it was a typo. Thank you for catching that. By the way, I addressed your Brassbound objections. Thanks for the reviews. Kilson 20:01, March 29, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Yavin system age

Sorry I took so long. There were no mentions of the age of the Yavin system in Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds. I should have information about your other question in a day or so.--Exiledjedi 20:16, March 29, 2011 (UTC)

My Apologies

I'm sorry i didn't catch your not being an administrator, and i apoligize for my grammar and tone. It was just that i was in a hurry to stop the deletion and i guess i just couldn't prevent it. I also didn't want to edit "Skirmish at Dinlo", because i may screw up and then people would be getting false information. Thanks anyway.--CommanderGreene 22:00, March 29, 2011 (UTC)Commander Greene

Re: Talk page archiving

Sure, here's how I did it: At the top of your talk page, create a link for User talk:Imperators II/Archive 1 (or you could probably just follow that redlink). Then cut and paste the contents of your talk page into the link. The design at the top of my page is from Borsk Fey'lya's talk page. For more help, you can take a look at Help:Archiving.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 22:22, March 29, 2011 (UTC)
