Given that this is a kid's magazine, I warn you, it's not very formal. :P The mention is indirect because the only thing that mentions the battle is a preview article for Season Two, stating "What terrifying things scuttle in the dark?" • Hmm, I just had a thought: while preparing to add some of this info to the Sith armada article, I came across a piece of information I had forgotten. In Fate of the Jedi: Omen, it is mentioned that the Tribe first used Ship to attack a vessel, forced it to crash land on an uninhabited planet, slaughtered the crew, and then salvaged the parts to begin repairs on the Omen. Do you think there's evidence enough to say that "First Blood" is telling of that particular instance (specifically with the mention that this was the first time they'd seen a ship other than the Omen)? Scarlett, the sequel to Gone with the Mimphs

Hey, Axinal, nice to see all the work you've been doing on Ewoks stuff lately! I was beginning to think I was the only one who cared about that old cartoon. :) I've noticed the nice work you've been doing on Mimph, er, mimph, and I wanted to suggest one thing: that you use Template:Sentient instead of Template:Species. I know you're following the CSWE's (odd) designation of the mimphs as semi-sentient, but the Species template prevents you from listing notable members of the group. In this case, I'd say Smasher and Trasher should be listed in the infobox.

Incidentally, the CSWE's relegation of these guys to semi-sentience puts them in the same category as species such as Ranats; both are species that actual stories treat as sentient, but which source material designates as semi-sentient. For this reason and for the sheer fact that I think it's silly to use two different infoboxes for biological groups like this, I've suggested here that the two templates I mention above be merged into one. In the meantime, again, precedent is that semi-sentient species can use either template, and I'd suggest that we follow the way the species is used in stories as our guide (is it treated as more of a character or more of a beast?). Hey Axinal, yeah, the sentence would need to be sourced. I suggest a ref tag that goes something like this: <ref name="Name">Although the serraknife was not mentioned in any source before ''Knight Errant'', the other weapons have each appeared in ''Star Wars'' canon at least once previously: X in <source> (year), Y in <source> (year), Z in <source> (year) (etc.)</ref>. It's not necessarily important that you mention the very first appearance or mention for each weapon, just so long as you mention at least one source in which they appeared before Knight Errant. Barn-burner: Halfway home

Hey there, Axinal.

I want to thank you for your efforts so far during Wookieepedia's first barn-burner. This is a not-so-personal message that's being sent out to every participant, but rest assured that everybody affiliated with this project deserves the highest praise. I've been very pleased with the number of users who have been writing, nominating, and reviewing Wookiees and Wookiee-related articles this month. Awesome job, all of you.

We're a little past the halfway mark, and at this point, I'd like to encourage everybody to focus their efforts on reviewing. Many users have been reviewing a lot already, and yes, you're absolutely welcome and encouraged to continue writing and nominating articles at this point. I just want to encourage everyone to take some time and help out others, which was one of the original purposes of this project. Additionally, the more reviewing that we all participate in, the more articles we can see promoted before the end of the month. Anything promoted after the end of May will still count as being part of the barn-burner, but it would be cool to get as much through as we can before then.

Hey, Axinal, I noticed you have have a couple of sources I lack and I was hoping you wouldn't mind looking up some info for me? I'm working on the Troig species, and the only two sources I can't find are Star Wars Insider 63 and Star Wars Insider 75. Apparently, both mention Troigs somewhere, but I only know the specific article from 75: "Republic HoloNet News Core Edition 15:01:03." Hey Axinal,

I'm wondering if you can help me out. I'm on a source hunt for Weazel, and about the only one I have left to check is Return to Endor from Insider 62. Is there any chance you could check for me? A few other Insider articles I've read that interview Warwick Davis throw in random mentions of the characters he played in The Phantom Menace. Yeah, it seems to be fine. Also, fyi, I removed the "source", since those templates refuse to work for some reason, so it's pointless to have them there.

When you move it to the template namespace, please create a page called Template:Language infobox/preload. On that page, just add the raw code, like here. Images of mimphs!

Hey, Axinal! I stumbled across a really nice site yesterday, EwokCells.com. The creator has a large collection of Ewoks animation art, including lots subjects we only have poor YouTube captures of. I emailed to ask if we might use some of the cells to illustrate articles here, and the creator agreed. I promised we'd give credit to the site in the image description page in any cases where we snagged something. At any rate, I bring this up because the site has two mimph cells, one of Thrasher, and one of Masher. They'd need some Photoshop work to remove the backgrounds, but they might be perfect for the infobox or "Biology and appearance" section of the mimph article. I wanted to get your opinion on whether to use either of them before I went ahead with such graphics work. What do you think? Do you think either of these would have a use in the article? • Interesting; I didn't even realize that the names of the two cell characters were slightly different! I an mad as heck at Trak nar. She deleted all my new pages that detailed signature moves from star wars head to head tag teams cause she thought they were fanon. how are they fanon. Those moves are real, the characters would use them in a fight, and the book is canon. Urrgh. Some of these administrators are bullies. They delete whatever they want, and i put a lot of time and effort into making those articles, and I THINK THEY DESERVE TO BE REVERTED , and I am owed an explanation. Mimph

Hey, Axinal. I wanted to give you a brief explanation for my format change to the citeweb template in your Unidentified female mimph CAN. I think I had stipulated to you once before to utilize all the fields of the template, even the ones that are not used, since that was how I had always been instructed to use it. But after looking at the template page recently, I noticed that the instructions specify to remove the fields that are not used, so I have done this in your nom, and I figure this is probably the best way to do it. Yes okay thank-you. Also on tuesday physics will be announcing whether the Higgs-boson particle exists from the Large Hadron Collider. The article mentions the Force and I think it might be noteworthy on the Force article, due to the fact that if proven, the Higgs-Boson god particle, will essentially be the real life equivalent of the Force. Barn-burner

Just wanted to encourage everyone participating in December's barn-burner on Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace to keep up the hard work! Only two articles have been passed, but five are currently nominated, and I suspect numerous projects are underway. The month is over halfway through, so we need to hurry and finish as many articles as we can before the end of the month. Keep writing and keep reviewing! Also, don't forget about the current CT on Databank entries in the "Sources" section, as many articles will have to be updated to meet the new criteria. I thank all of you for taking part in this project and working to make the site better for the release of The Phantom Menace in 3-D in February, and I'm confident the results will be satisfactory.
