Connor Freeman's father

  • Nominated by: QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 13:17, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: I've been meaning to do this for a while. Just forty nine whatever words short of the FAN limit. And it's a clone trooper! Sort of.

  1. Good Article, Very-clean, and written to the manual. As far as I can see this has two main problems:
    • it has references, but should be referenced more.
    • it based off of a very minor topic, and such is the purpose of Good Articles,i.e. recognizing articles that have superior workmanship, but are not large enough to be considered for a Featured article but this article is a very minor one. Serebiisean 20:54, March 17, 2011 (UTC)User:Serebiisean
      • Please take a look at the rules at the top of this page, Serebiisean, and also have a gander at the formatting of all of the previous nominations to this one. That should assist in your understanding of the good article nominations process. Graestan(Talk) 13:54, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Kilson
  • At the end of the intro, could you mention that the reason Fett set up the inheritence fund was that he felt responsible for the clone's family or guilty over killing the clone.
    • Actually, we don't know if it was the former, the latter, or both. Jango was visibly shaken after the encounter with the clone, but it's not revealed for what reason. I'd prefer not to speculate here.
      • Understandably
  • I didn't read the comic, but does it show where Boba's shot hit the clone? If so, work it into the Bio.
    • Addressed.
  • Is it possible to cut down the information in the fourth paragraph of the Bio? I know it has to do with the clone's legacy, but it seems a bit too long.
    • To be fair, I felt that it was a bit long myself, but I decided to wait for some feedback. Addressed.
      • It's cool, I've done the same thing in the past.
  • Otherwise, nice job Jinn. Kilson 22:07, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 13:43, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
Imperators II
  • As far as I can see, this clone's appearance in Blood Ties: A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett 2 was also a flashback, same as Part 1. Imperators II 22:32, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
    • Addressed. The series' structure is pretty confusing, to be fair. While Part 1 is obviously a flashback, I'm not so sure about Part 2. But whatevs. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 13:43, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
  • Could you add something about the clone being unnamed so far in the Bts section? Imperators II(Talk) 12:47, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
    • Added. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 14:29, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Omicron
  • any reason why fathered is bolded in the first paragraph? <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 22:34, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
    • The article's name must be bolded in the intro. Here, the article's conjectural name is not actually used in the intro, so "fathered" is the closest to "Connor Freeman's father." QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 13:43, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
      • Ah ok, I guess that makes sense then. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 13:48, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
Moffship
  • I feel it would be better if you bolded "clone" in the second sentence of the intro, rather than "fathered," regardless of the article's conjectural name. "Clone" at least refers to the individual. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 19:24, March 23, 2011 (UTC)
    • Addressed. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 11:55, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
