"It's time to end this. How soon can you be here?"
"I'm not far, just as we agreed when you paid our retainer. We're in the system, parked behind one of the big moons. I'll have us there before you know it."
―Tozen and Abediah Viess[1]

A moon was one of at least two that orbited the planet Gansevor in a star system of the Outer Rim's Tammuz sector. During the High Republic Era, the moon fell within the Galactic Republic's Galactic Frontier exploration region.

In 382 BBY, after being employed to participate in a siege on Gansevor, the Mirialan mercenary General Abediah Viess stationed her forces behind the moon. When her employer, the Bethunian Field Marshal Tozen, queried when she would arrive, Viess informed him of her forces' location, arriving on planet shortly after.

A moon was one of at least two large moons that orbited the planet Gansevor, which was located in a star system within the Tammuz sector of the Outer Rim[1] and the Slice. It was situated in grid square T-14 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2]

During the High Republic Era, Gansevor and its moons fell within[1] the Galactic Frontier, a section of the Outer Rim containing locations considered removed far enough from the galaxy's center for the Galactic Republic to send explorers there.[3]

In 382 BBY,[4] Bethunian Field Marshal Tozen of the Gansevor city-state Bethune hired[1] the Mirialan mercenary General[5] Abediah Viess[6] to take part in a siege against a rival city-state. The two agreed that Viess would park[1] her[5] forces behind the moon, which the Mirialan complied with after arriving in the system. As the siege continued, Tozen contacted Viess by comm to inquire how soon she could be there. In response, the general informed him of her location behind the moon and stated it would not take long for her to be there. Shortly after, Viess and her forces arrived on Gansevor.[1]
