The Aruzans were a blue-skinned near-human sentient species. During the Imperial Era,[1] the Aruzan Manaroo, who hailed from Aruza,[5] dated the human bounty hunter Dengar.[1]

When Dengar got into trouble in the Vergesso Asteroids, Manaroo contacted a group of spacers and implored them to help her rescue him.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Aruzans were first mentioned in the 2020 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying supplement, Starships and Speeders.[1] However, the species originated within Star Wars Legends, where they were created by Dave Wolverton for the 1996 short story Payback: The Tale of Dengar, published in the Tales of the Bounty Hunters anthology.[6]
