Sunrise Caf was a caf beverage created by the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs on the Outer Rim planet Batuu sometime after the Battle of Takodana. He was inspired to create the drink after encountering a special spice blend at Kat Saka's Kettle in Black Spire Outpost, which he quickly added to his caf and mixed with some cream from the bantha farmer Bubo Wamba. Tuggs included his recipe for the beverage in his cookbook, titled The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook.[1]

Sunrise Caf was first pictured and mentioned in the recipe book authored by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel and Marc Sumerak with photography by Ted Thomas, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook, which was released in 2019. The out-of-universe recipe for the drink includes black coffee, milk, coconut oil, five-spice powder, turmeric powder, heavy cream, and brown sugar, or any sweetener.[1]
