- "This was my training lightsaber when I was your age. Yours now, it is."
- ―Yoda
Brightstar's second lightsaber[4] was a green-bladed training lightsaber formerly wielded by Jedi Grand Master Yoda and later gifted to Jedi Initiate Kai Brightstar during the High Republic Era.[2] The blade, being scaled for Yoda's use, was useful in the hands of the human trainee.[5] Brightstar originally lost his lightsaber to save his friend and fellow youngling Nubs from falling off the Crimson Firehawk.[2] Kai would use his lightsaber during a training session against a training droid.[1] The blade had a silvery finish with a compact profile and a prominent activation button. The lower grip of the blade had a woven cloth wrapping.[5]
