Burr Ball

Hello. So, in the game they were fully capitalized as "Burr Balls," and their description read, "A type of berry known for its great flavors. Perfect for adding to desserts." This is verified from the game files. The info on Burr Balls found HERE is accurate as far as I can tell. Evidently, the game also had the food originate on Endor. The graphical appearance was fairly generic. The game used the plate of bread graphic for lots of different foods, which explains why it doesn't really look like berries in the pic. Pie

With the article as it's written now, I would put the game mechanics tag around the sentence "Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, she made one of the pies for a spacer after they helped her collect luilris mushrooms from the cavern." Basically, the game mechanic part would be the part where she has the player collect the mushrooms. The other parts I would leave outside the tag. The game did specify her as a creator of the pies. Some relevant dialogue of hers I've pasted below.

"Well, I find it most rewarding to keep our community in high spirits while our warriors and defenders are out fighting against the Urnsor'is Infestation. Therefore, I like to make Luilris Pies with the help of our local cantina. However, we ran out of stock of the most important ingredient; Luilris Mushrooms. They can be found in the caves. I need you to collect 10 of them."

Then, when the player completes the objectives and returns to her, she says:

"Thank you so much! Now, I'll be able to make my pies again. You've done so much for us. [Yraka Nes smiles gently.] Thank you. I've prepared a gift for you, for all the help you've given us. Here."

She then gives the player a Luilris Mushroom Pie. She'd also say this to players who came back later to talk to her:

"Oh hello! I'm so glad you're back. How are you? Are you doing well? Things are quiet out here. Not too much to do around here anymore. I wish I had more for you to do. Well, I need to make more pies. Maybe we'll see each other soon."

Jinjang berries

Hi, I'll try to find more info tomorrow. To start, the game spelled them as "Gin-jang berries." I wonder if the page should be moved to this name? Oftentimes the Ewok articles are created off of phonetic best-guesses. Though maybe the spelling Jinjang was actually used as some point? • Yeah, it seems to me "Jinjang berries" should be the title, since that one is used in the CSWE. The jin-jang/gin-jang discrepancy could be mentioned in the BtS. As for additional SWG info, there isn't much else aside from the description I mentioned, and the fact it was found on Endor. The short answer seems to no, it doesn't look like Birthday Cakes actually appeared in the game. But a search of the game files do include information on an item named "Birthday Cake", with a description which reads, "A scrumptuous [sic] birthday cake!" However, despite searching extensively, I find no evidence that this item actually appeared in SWG as a food item. • As far as these two food items are concerned, the information portrayed on the SWG Wiki here and here covers most of the fundamentals. They weren't quest rewards or anything like that. They were just basically just standard food item schematics that could be crafted by players of the trader profession post-NGE. The food items also existed pre-NGE, and apparently could be created by the chef profession when that was still in the game. One helpful resource I use to look into SWG things that existed pre-NGE is to do a search on this forum archive (http://swgforums.swganh.org/index.php). The login/password is swganh. SWG food

Hi JediMasterMacaroni, the BtS section explains it quite well. The Bantha Surprise item needs to be produced by the crafter player class. To do so, the crafters have to buy the recipe from Saun Dann who appears in the game during the Life Day event, once a year for Christmas. If players achieve some Life Day-related quests, they receive "Life Day tokens" that they can use to buy Life Day stuff from Saun Dann. I hope I was clear. Hey, I noticed that you changed the licensing for my Death Star I Cross-section picture from "comic book page" to "fairuse". Just wanted to explain that the reason I licensed most of those uploads of mine as "comic book" licenses was because I wasn't entirely sure which I should have used for guidebooks, and I figured comicbooks were the closest equivalent for them.   • Hi, I have some answers. First thing to know is that there was two different items in the game, and both were related to the Life Day event that was taking place every year around Christmas. During the event, there was specialized vendors selling Life Day-related items, including cookies. In the first versions, it was a "buff" item that player could eat in order to improve temporarily the capacities of their character (strength, speed...). This item was later removed from the game and replaced by decorative items that players could place in their house as a simple decoration.
