- "Meanwhile, amid the slightly outdated tendencies of some instructors at the Imperial Academy on Alsakan, Major Urkhaste's lessons on defensive tactics and deployments were apparently legendary."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
The Alsakan Academy was an Imperial Academy located on[2] the Core Worlds[4] planet Alsakan.[2] Enric Pryde, who would go on to become Allegiant General of the Galactic Empire's successor state, the First Order, attended the Academy at age sixteen[1] in 11 BBY.[5] Pryde had put in work to gain acceptance to the prestigious institution, getting in as a cadet[6] and receiving advanced placement there.[1] Attending the Alsakan Academy was part of Pryde's ultimate life plan of controlling his destiny.[6] Pryde was then assigned to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Steadfast, where he received proper training from an Imperial officer.[2]
Lectures from the Alsakan Academy were included in the Imperial Archives. Historian Beaumont Kin also covered the academy in[3] his[1] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire,[3] published in 35 ABY,[7] where he described some faculty's as having been slightly outdated with the exception of Major Urkhaste, who was well known for his defensive tactics and employments.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary establishes that Enric Pryde attended the Alsakan Academy forty-five years prior to the Battle of Starkiller Base. As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas: Updated Edition dates that battle to 34 ABY, Pryde must have attended the academy in 11 BBY.

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
